We ordered a bottle of Santa Margarita. The bill came and they charged 80$ for it and took off the special of 30$. It would usually be around 35-40$ in a restaurant. 20$ retail! Yellow Fin tuna was thrown on a bed of greens and horrible. Compared to other local restaurants- it's sub par. Crab cake was ok. Crab legs were over cooked and mushy. Mahi was bland and had bisque soup thrown over it. The risotto was over cooked rice at the best- zero taste. Grouper Oscar was the worst we have ever had. No taste. The waiter was fine and begged me to talk to a manager or allow him to take something off the bill or to send us with key lime pie. But honestly by time the waiter actually spent time with us it was too late and there was no fixing anything. If I brought it up, the waiter should be empowered to take care of it. My wife and I, along with another couple, enjoyed an outstanding dinner there last night. We all thought the seafood was the best around! I had the stuffed hogfish along with a cup of delicious lobster bisque.....excellent! My wife had coconut shrimp with a side of green beans that were so good! Best vegetables ever! This place was recommended to us to try and we're not disappointed at all. It's a modest place with plenty of parking and a fish market inside. We were seated immediately (it's off season) and were greeted by a friendly helpful waiter. I ordered a glass of wine and had the option of 6, 9 or 12 oz pour which I appreciate because I don't always want that second glass of wine but feel 6oz isn't enough to carry me through my meal. Huge disappointment with the Key Lime Pie! When it comes to fish, this place seems to know what they're doing. However, I feel the need to express my extreme disappointment with this key lime pie that everybody here is talking about. And let me first say that I'm a head pastry chef with a decade of experience, and yes, I might be a bit of a dessert snob. I have zero issues with the fact that it's frozen, you can freeze any great and real dessert to preserve the best quality. But guys, check the ingredient list on the back of the box - there are like 2 dozen things inside, all kinds of lecitins, colours, artificial flavours, preservatives...This is some real mass produced shit, stop & shop style. The only "real" thing about this pie is the crust, since it's the only part that's made simply out of the basic few ingredients it's supposed to contain. I can also tell you that no more than 30% of the juice used in the filling is lime juice, and even this 30% are coming out of a bottle and surprise, surprise - it's actually lime juice, nothing key lime about it /not that that's the issue here, most people would never make the difference anyway, lime pie can be just as awesome/. Anyway, I don't eat store bought desserts, so not sure how this pie compares to some other crappy brands. But it sure is the worst and least real one I've ever had. It's funny how so often people care about having the most real and fresh meat, sandwich, salad and then it comes down to dessert and all they care about is the taste of sugar... read more

The wait staff is very friendly but not the most informed. We ordered a few apps and two glasses of wine. Their wine selection is very limited. The apps were good. Hush puppies and grouper fingers. Both tasted great. Wish the fingers were bigger. They were very small. The kids meal was dry but they replaced it with a juicier piece of fish. My husband got the Triple Tail and said it was decent. After a 30 minute wait we got seated. Started both with a cup New England clam chowder. That we both thought was not that great. Ordered the Lobster mac and cheese with extra lobster! Was not impressed with this restaurant. Server was super nice and non of my concerns where there fault. Had a reservation and requested to sit by a fish tank but was advised those where for reservations which I had. Do not recommend sitting on the back patio when it is busy. It is very loud and everyone's voices echoed and made it hard to hear let alone talk to anyone in your party. I do not recommend the oysters Rockefeller. They only offer 5 and they are some of the smallest oyster I have ever eaten. Gator bite appetizer should be considered a half appetizer. My meal was just ok. Ordered the Ahi tuna and needed soy sauce to finish it. It pains me to write this review because I have had good luck using Yelp with locations that have a 4 star rating. I have gone to this place when it was Randy's. Not sure what happened but it seems the only thing that changed was the name. The interior is exactly the same and if I am not mistaken the menu is too. Everything was fresh and tasty. My mother always gets clams to start and she always seems very happy and pleased. The fish can be made a variety of ways and I'm trying to find the one I like the best. Still have a few ways to try. What I have ordered has cooked properly and seasoned nicely. The salads are great. Can't recall everything I got exactly but I just remember being pleased with all. Now they lose a star because 1. The adult beverages were terrible. I tried several different ones and I didn't like any of them. I finally just drank the last one because I didn't want to try again. Oddly, that was my same complaint in Randy's. AND 2. Although the waitress was very pleasant, the service was slow. At times, I thought she forgot about us or what we asked for. It won't stop me from coming, I will just allow extra time and just not order a drink. read more
