Wife ordered fish and chips, it was cold and raw. I ordered a grouper sandwich tasted like catfish. Paid $90 for what I consider garbage.

Best crab cakes in the area! They freeze well too. A wonderful treat! They are large so one per person is adequate.

They also have a market as you enter, where you can buy fresh seafood, pasta salads, their bisque and more. Once we checked in with the host, she lead us to our table. Our sever Danny came by and gave us waters and menus. Less than ten minutes passes by and we were ready to order. For entrees I ordered the Seafood Platter ( shrimp scampi, scallops, and grouper this came with a Caesar salad and sweet potatoes) shrimp scampi, scallops and grouper were well seasoned, tender and fresh; my wife ordered the Triple Shrimp Platter (scampi, baked stuffed, and crunchy and a side of crab bisque) my wife absolutely loved this dish so much so she said she'll get it again next time we dine here. The crab bisque was the best she's had on the island. My mother in law ordered the Baked Stuff Shrimp (with seafood stuffing) she ordered this dish last time we dined here and she said it's still delicious. My father and sister in law ordered the Mahi Mahi with mango sauce. Both said the Mahi-mahi was tender and was a nice portion. All in all this is a great restaurant for anyone looking for seafood. All the fish is fresh and made to order.

My grandmother especially loved Timbers, and it has always been a must for at least one night during our vacations. She was very particular about her dining experiences. Very refined like me . The inside is pretty cute. The decor has lots of old wood much like the namesake. They have a fresh seafood l counter where you can purchase some of their magic. That is where I spotted some of the items I knew that I had to have. On my way to the bathroom I knew I was in for a treat. If you are a seafood aficionado like I am, you will not be disappointed. The food is incredibly fresh. They fly in Chilean sea bass every morning, and I had never experienced it truly fresh before, only frozen. It absolutely melted in my mouth. My loaded bake potato was a star on its own. I wanted another one. The stone crabs were amazing, and I highly recommend getting the larger ones. The creamy mustard dip was almost as good as mine. The calamari was stellar, and the smoked salmon belly was incredible with its perfect balance of capers and that sweet, salty, sour combination. I have to say, though, the warm bourbon pecan pie at the end of the meal was an experience all on its own. I could barely walk afterward. It was such a fabulous dining experience. Thank you for making my return so stellar. We haven't been able to visit for the past three years because the hurricane destroyed our place, but everything is back and better than ever. I look forward to my next dining adventure. To many more years of good food, good friends, and memories that make this adventure all the more better.
