Switched our business internet from Deep Blue/Comcast 2 years ago to Spectrum. However, even though they can confirm that we have no active internet service, about every 6 months we get a "Past Due" bill from Comcast/Deep Blue. Have tried cancelling our business account three separate times over the past year, and after 45-60 minutes on hold with their "Center of Excellence", get told its cancelled only to get another 6 month past due notice (with no interval monthly bills). read more

As a customer of Deep Blue at my hotel that I manage, I can tell you that they are the most unresponsive, least adept Hotel Wifi Management company I have ever interacted with. Changing from deep blue to Thinix was one of the best decisions I have made, Deep Blue was not even able to get a landing page working at my Hotel for over 1 year. I have never once gotten a call back from support in 3 years, never once has any issue been resolved completely. Absolutely atrocious. read more

Hold on, turning my $31.95 Wi-Fi off and switching to my Cellular connection to write this message. These guys are TAXING hard. The internet connection is 7MBPS up/ 3.5 Down. Unstable connection, expensive connection, slow speeds, less than modern equipment. Your talking decades old equipment and speed, they got that grandma 9000 plan, their prices stay current though you know how that be. Either way, you likely won't know it's them until after your card gets charged and your at this Yelp page mad AF your not able to work on this busted internet on your trip. read more

DO NOT USE DEEPBLUE FOR WIFI. I do not normally write reviews but I had to warn others. I have used their services for 3 properties totaling to 750 luxury apartment units. We use them for our common area wifi in the building. I am not sure if it's a physical person or an automated invoicing system but they simply do not send email or mail for billing. I have called 9 separate reps and sent well over 10 emails over the past two years. to change my billing address information. Every time I call I am told that this can be done over the course of 30 minutes, yet NOTHING HAPPENS. I feel like I am being gaslighted to believe they can help me. It was comical after the 4th time but at this point they are actively costing my residents and community pain. What I don't understand is why we cannot be helped properly. At our company we have over 24,000 apartment units. We make up for well over $10,000-20,000 in monthly payments to Deepblue. You'd think they would make an effort to help update billing info? I made an announcement to my CFO. We are canceling each and every Deepblue account to Starry WIFI. read more

Just horrible. Here at the Coral Baja in Cabo. First couldn't connect to wifi, for 3+ days. Moved buildings, can connect to wifi, but can never stay connected to internet for more than maybe 20min max, and that's if I'm lucky. Wish I knew if the internet problem is with Deep Blue or the resort (Worldmark). Every place I've been I've had problems (on, off, on, off), it's also very slow at times. Customer Service is GREAT. They alway are very knowledge and helpful. But it's no fun spending time on the phone while on vacation. Unfortunately they're the only player for resort internet. I am currently on hold, waiting for a supervisor, day #4 trying to get the wifi fixed for my unit at the Wyndham/Worldmark Steamboat Resort location. The support folks who answer the phone are nice and courteous, but they found my unit issues is above their ability to help so they elevated it to the engineer department. It has to do with the access point. the only place the wifi works is near the door, if you go to the bedroom or living room area, you maybe get 1-2 bars at best, but it consistently drops off and the bandwidth is not strong enough to do much of anything even if it says you do have a bar. Not one engineer has done anything to help/support. Day #4, I have called EVERYDAY. NO ONE should have to waste this much time on their vacation dealing with customer service to an internet company. This stuff should be dealt with pronto!! Period. Shame on Wyndham/Worldmark for contracting Deep Blue and washing their hands of issues for their guests. They WILL be hearing from me next. As an owner, we deserve better customer service. This company sucks and clearly getting bought out by Comcast didn't help how bad they are. Comcast also sucks! I would avoid using this service or renting from a location that uses this service. I moved into my apartment in April, and Deep Blue provides the internet and the tv. I've had nothing but issues with the internet since moving in. Although I pay monthly for the updated internet, I've had more than a month of no service. The technicians are hit and miss with customer service. Some are very helpful, and others just hang up on you. On all of the trouble tickets that were entered and I was told someone would call me back, I only received the follow up call once. Since April I haven't been able to watch a full episode on Netflixs or Amazon Instant Video without the video stopping more than once to buffer. Needless to say, I also haven't been able to play PS4 online with those speeds. Save your money and avoid this provider. read more

This company has a contract with my apartment complex so I am required to use their service. I am seriously considering moving to a new apartment complex solely because their product and support is so terrible. I pay extra for upgraded speed (10 mbps) because their basic service (3 mbps) is so slow. Unfortunately the "upgrade" randomly cuts out every few months and goes back to 3 mps. Each time it takes me at least 4 of 5 phone calls over several days to get it fixed. Every time you speak to a tech there you get a different answer or excuse and even when they finally do fix the problem they don't document what was wrong so you are back to square one when it inevitably happens again next month. If you are thinking of moving into a Deep Blue community you better think again. read more

This is my second stay at the Wingate by Windham hotel in Rome, NY which uses Deepblue for their WiFi service and it still doesn't work. No password is required in their landing page, but the connect button does nothing. The front desk offered me 3 telephone support numbers in addition to the number provided in the landing page and none of the four numbers worked, giving immediate busy signals without even attempting to ring. read more

My husband got a returned phone call approx 11 days after his initial phone call. And issue was never resolved. And as far as the internet service it is like using dial up! So I am in Ohio at a "resort" and the front desk tells me to call tech support; I can't log onto the internet and gives me this company's number. I called (my dime, as in minutes on my cell phone) and after 20 minutes of recordings I finally get an operator who tries to fix the problem. She had a very heavy accent so I asked "where am I calling?" She replies with "I can't tell you that but you are calling offshore". She then proceeds to ask me my IP address and within 5 minutes voila! I am connected. To say she was for the most part rude may not be accurate as I don't know where I was calling and that might be "their culture". Since I was in red-white-blue Ohio why am I dealing with an "offshore" company that keeps me on hold, can't answer my questions and can't help me? I imagine it all has to do with $$$. read more

This system at the SandDollar condominium is absolutely terrible. We have called repair about 100 times or more since the system was installed. I am employed by a commercial customer of Deep Blue Communications in Latham and I have had occasion to call for support on behalf of hotel guests. In spite of whatever else you may have read here, Deep Blue personnel have been quite responsive. This evening (July 3) I called and, while a machine answered the call, I was greeted in less than one minute by a service person who proceeded to address this issue. I travel full time for business and stay in hotels year round. Deep Blue Communications is hands down the WORST internet provider in the business. Their typical "help" is to tell you they will escalate the issue and have someone call you back. To date they have never once called me back or resolved the issue on any of the numerous occasions I have had the misfortune of staying at a hotel they provide their crummy services to. read more
