Absolutely the best nail salon I have ever experienced in my entire life…read more I felt this way immediately after my first appointment, but I've now been here a handful of times for acrylic and gel nail enhancements (and have seen 3 different nail technicians) and I continue to feel completely satisfied every time. One of my favorite things that personally sets this salon so far above all the others is the complete and thorough care of my nails from start to finish. In other salons, I am almost always left disappointed when I walk out of the appointment the nail itself looks good but my cuticles and skin around it weren't even touched. Or in a few days when they start to grow out, and it doesn't blend to my real nail. What's the point of sitting for the time and paying the money for long, pretty nails if they're only going to look good for a few days? Or to have them with jagged dry skin all around? That is NOT the case here! My nail enhancement appointment feels like a combo with a manicure because they really pay attention to and take care of the entire hand and finger areas. And they blend really nicely as they grow out. The other thing that sets this salon apart is the atmosphere. It's so modern and fresh. For services that are about self care and taking some time for myself, it's nice to be able to relax and chill in an environment like this. I love that they have online scheduling, and their color selection is extensive and phenomenal!

They had us wash our hands prior to touching nail polish bottles, loved the focus on cleanliness. They have many color options to choose from for classic manicures or gel. Liliana got started on cleaning up my nails right away. It had been over a year since my last manicure and I felt no judgement on that state of my cuticles lol. I enjoyed chatting with Liliana. My sister was there for a pedicure. We shared our friend, and fellow yelper, Char, recommended this place to us. They loved hearing that. Price is reasonable and they are efficient! As I focus more on self care, I plan to be back!

Appointments are great, but walk-ins are welcomed too. Ask for Sona she's the best for your beauty care needs. They offer salon services from hands, toes, eyebrows, and eyelashes. It's clean, inviting, and provide great customer service. I recently got my eyebrows microbladed with my mom (Mother daughter day) and I was impressed with the results. Microbladding is semi-permanent and last 12-18 months. It's about a minimum two hour process and requires two sessions. Be sure not to wear any make-up or facial product the day of the procedure as the numbing medication may not work effectively. During the process, it felt like tiny little scores sweeping across my eyebrows or like lite shots back and forth. It tingled a bit but not painful. The after care is important in this procedure it's about 7 to 14 days with applying ointment and staying away from the sun exposure, anything excessive like exercise, sauna, steam rooms, etc. I can't wait to show these off!

I was looking for a NEW nail salon so I went to Yelp. I asked it to bring up the top 10 nail salons…read moreclosest to me and Beauty And Nails came up. So I called last minute to see if they could fit me in the same day and they said YES! I came in and the first thing I noticed was how clean it was! Then how organized it was and how friendly everyone was! I was very impressed and I hadn't even sat at a booth yet. I was told to go to a booth and the girl asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I said no. Then we started on my nails. I expressed I wanted my current set taken off and a new set put on. I was very impressed at the fact that she didn't try to rip my nails off instead she soaked my nails and little by little she drilled them off. When that was done she put the new set on and we got to the nail polish portion. I showed her a picture in my phone and asked her if she was able to duplicate it. She said yes. I honestly was shocked. The last place I went to said that they could not do anything they said they only did nail polish no designs. The girl that was doing my nails told me that she could do any design rhinestones it didn't matter what it was bring a picture in and she can do it. I was so impressed because I have so many pictures in my phone that I have always wanted on my nails. So she put a design on my nails with foils. I absolutely love them! She did an amazing job. My nails are perfect! She took her time and had patience with me. I will definitely be returning! I forgot the girls name that did my nails. I want her to do my nails going forward I hope that they have it in the system who did my nails so I can request her every time. I have definitely found my NEW NAIL SALON HOME!!!

I have gone to this salon a few times with no issues. I wasn't a regular but I go for special…read moreoccasions and have recommended several people their services. This last time changed my mind. I went with a friend, and she called to book the appointment weeks ago, with specific technicians. We get to the salon and I let them know I changed my mind and want gel now, not acrylics. A few moments after we walk in a woman comes in and says she has an appointment with one of our technicians. They let her know they overbooked and wouldn't be able to service her. The woman told the technicians that she had called a couple days before and scheduled, and they must've messed it up. Then the technician who's overbooked comes over and tells us we're going to switch so she can do the other woman's nails. To me, as a business, this is bad practice, you shouldn't put your customers in a position like this. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should've honored the people that made the appointment first. In hindsight, I should've advocated for myself better, but I don't think businesses should be putting their clients in this position. They had us sit down because they weren't ready, and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. At that point I was on a time crunch, and didn't have time to go anywhere else. The technician who did my nails was very upset that I wasn't doing acrylics anymore, and asked me three or four times if I was sure. I didn't realize it at the time, but she cut my cuticle open, and didn't say anything about it. I got home and my finger was in a lot of pain. Bad communication and honoring clients who booked after your other ones is a no for me.

He is very personable and a good listener and I have been pleased with my cuts with him. The salon is located in the third ward and beautifully decorated, industrial style. They also use Apple Pay. The parking is on the street which can be a bit of a pain but I can generally find street parking within a block's walking distance. I did take a friend here for a pedicure once and I will say that maybe it was the day or tight timing, but it felt a bit rushed and unfriendly, which is a bit unfortunate. I tried the Walker's Point location after my cousin's wife wanted to come here. She had previously…read moretried my usual spot for dip and a pedicure, so I wanted to give her spot a try too. I did a dip manicure while she did the Gel-X with cat eye. Making the appointment was really easy. We booked over the phone and through email, and they were quick to communicate. They do require a deposit for artificial nail services. Just be aware of their cancellation policy: artificial nail appointments require 24 hours notice or you forfeit the full service amount, while dip appointments require 2 hours or more. My nail tech, Yohana, was really nice and patient, especially while I debated between two colors. They have quite a few colors for dip to choose from. The technician next to her also gave her input, and I ended up going with the color they recommended. It turned out to be a great choice for fall. My natural nails had cracked on a couple fingers, so we decided to trim those down and add tips while they grew out. The salon itself was clean, bright, and open with plenty of stations. They took their time and didn't rush through the service. One of my nails did break a couple days later, but I was really impressed that they stood behind their work. Their policy is that if a nail breaks, chips, or doesn't last the week, they'll fix it, and they repaired mine for free. I really appreciated that. The technician who did the repair was okay, she was different than my original technician, but wasn't as friendly or talkative and mostly just did the repair and moved on. One thing to keep in mind is pricing. You get a discount for paying cash, while cards have a 3.6% processing fee. I paid about $22 more than I normally pay for dip at my usual salon in cash. Overall, I had a good experience. The salon was clean, and my original tech was kind, patient, and did a good job on my shape. I'd be open to coming back to try their Russian manicure or possibly a pedicure next time.
