I've always had a great experience at Inspire. The only downside is now their hours are very sporadic and I swear every time I remember to call and make an appointment, it happens to be when they are closed during the week. Not their fault, and I understand due to staffing etc. Love the tea and highly recommend. Also my favorite place to get my eye brows waxed. read more

Everyone seemed nice and professional and I got a pair of disposable flip flops w/ the separators and all that...I was careful, and my left big toe got scraped and messed up within two hours. She seemed quick to want me to leave, even after I thought we had a good conversation and rapport. I get that it's the weekend and you're ready to leave, but I should have sat by the dryer there for a longer time to ensure that it was "chip free." I drove back to try to fix this issue but the building was closed before their scheduled closing time. Smh. read more

I wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone. I went in for a simple haircut and left with the worst haircut I've ever gotten. I was supposed to have layers but instead got a blunt cut in the front that's an inch shorter than the rest of my hair. The back is all different lengths as well. My hair looks so horrible that I've been wearing it up since. Now I have to pay someone else to fix this mess and probably need to cut another inch or more off my hair. read more

I would never go back, asked for a simple style and ended up with orange hair, even after three stylist gave their own input. When I expressed my concerns the owner asked if I was color blind. Walked out completely mortified and unsatisfied with the service I received. read more

Disappointing & terrible customer service. I went for a Brazilian blowout & got it done by Alyssa. Paid a good price and a decent tip, after two days washed my hair and no results. I text the stylist and shared my concern she said she would speak to her manger, no response. Btw she is terrible in responding to peoples messages. Messaged her again only because I spend ALOT of money & wanted to get it atleast worth. She text me back saying the product they put in my hair was EXPIRED so the manager said come back and they would redo it. Its been two months! My hair is super damaged because of the expired product & the stylist Alyssa keeps rescheduling my appointment so its still not done. I finally called to speak to the manager twice and they say she is busy and will call back & i still haven gotten a response. I wouldn't recommend anyone going to a place where they don't respect their clients or treat them with respect or do the job for what is paid for. Disgusting and humiliating to run a bussiness like that! read more

Inspire Salon - This is how my hair looks after the expried product they used in my hair. - Hair Salons Near Me - Franklin, Wisconsin

This is the worst hair salon I've ever been to!!! I went for a hair cut and deep conditioning for which I paid $64!!! First off when I got there at the time of my appointment there was none at the reception! I had to wait for 10 min for them to notice that a customer has arrived!!! The haircut was ok as I was only there to trim my hair. The deep conditioning? Worst. I could've just used a hair mask and done a better job at home! She shampooed my hair, sprayed some product and left it for 5 min and washed off my hair!!! That's it!! That's what they call "deep conditioning"!! Then she blow dried my hair roughly and used a straightener to set them! I saw no difference in my hair! It was dry and pretty much the same if I had shampooed and styled at home! This is the worst!!! I actually had seen a couple bad reviews here before going there but the only reason I went there was it was closer to my home, but guys - save yourself this frustration and refrain from going to this terrible terrible salon!!' Sincerely, Disappointed read more

I just moved to the Milwaukee area and always said there were three things I had to find to make it home, a church, a good place to work out and of course, a hair stylist;the basics of life! Well this place has a great vibe, prices are fairly standard for the industry and Alyssa was perfect, I was so happy with her suggestions and very happy with the results. She did a spot on job with color and it's a great cut!!! I'm just so happy to have found both Inspire and Alyssa! I'm one happy girl right now! Inspire fits like a glove. read more

New hairstyle! Love it. Pam was excellent. I will definately go back. I made appt via Facebook messaging, SO EASY! The salon was modern, casual & cozy, offering something to drink on arrival. They were even able to fit my mom in last minute while my color was processing! read more

I've been a long time customer of Inspire salon, and have always been very happy with their service. I've probably had most of the stylists there do mine and my daughter's hair, but usually I have Kim or Becky. The service is always friendly, and the prices are comparable with other salons in the area. Whether I am looking for a drastic change In style and color or just a trim, I always walk out feeling beautiful and confident. They also do a great job with children! From their first haircut on, I have brought all my daughters in to have their hair cut. The stylists all relate well to the girls and get them talking, no matter how old they are. The girls look forward to their appointments for weeks. They also love the suckers near the entrance and the comfy couch to wait on. As an added bonus, they can always fit me in at the last moment with someone! read more

Had a color and cut with Keri and I love my new hair now!!! I came in with unhealthy long hair that I had been dying myself for years, and needed a change! She talked with me in regards to color and cut and I felt so comfortable with her and her ability! Well needless to say, my hair came out beautiful and health and I absolutely love it!!! Highly recommended!!! I will never go to anyone else!! Thanks Keri!! read more

I love coming here. Right on par with what you should expect from an Aveda salon/spa. The air is filled with the smell of their great products, I get to sip a cup of delicious Aveda tea while I wait and the view from the salon is so peaceful. The owner Patti, who does my hair, goes to great lengths to make me feel like a million bucks when I walk out of there. I've seen the girls do kids cuts too and they are so patient and professional I'm going to take my kids here too. I can't say enough good things about Inspire. read more

I have tried several stylist at this salon and have always been satisfied with the service I receive but I must say I was super impressed with Alyssa. I am a brunette with curly hair and was looking to have my roots touched up along with partial ashy highlights to help camouflage my grays aling with a haircAlyssa was able to get all of that done in 2 hours! The color was perfect ,no brassy orange and the cut and blow dry was beautiful! I highly recommend Alyssa she was awesome ! read more

Started almost $400 of work on our daughters hair without confirming anthing with parents. When concerns were brought up, eventually just blown off. Complaints to BBB and the state got response from owner that we never requested reimbursement. When we requested reimbursement, owner said They don't give back for not being made aware of cost prior to work, only if we would have said we were unhappy with results. Clients, please be aware of their pricing. read more

Very clean, well-kept salon with a relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of Aveda products. Good organization due to an added receptionist. I've never walked away unhappy! read more

I just found this amazing full-service Salon in Franklin! It's a little hard to find with all the construction on 27th St, but they make up for it with their fabulous customer service. What I like is all of the Aveda products they sell, and the staff is very knowledgeable about them. Definitely will be back, to be pampered like a queen! And as a new client, they gave me a discount coupon for products and services. In the usual lackluster customer service world, Inspire Salon is a breath of fresh air. I am super impressed! read more

I wish I could give this business no stars. Honestly. I'm a professional that has worked in the beauty industry and I've been trained at Aveda institute in chapel hill, NC among actually having great mentors at the first Aveda salon I worked at. I've come to this salon and spa over four times for different services and have tried out different service providers. As far as hair / body waxing goes don't go here. Their terrible at services and customer service. I'll start with when I had a Brazilian wax. And letting all of you know that I am trained professionally in esthetics/body waxing as well. The service provider double dipped, while doing my Brazilian so who knows how many other times she's done that! EW! And she did not wear 2 gloves but only 1! And my thigh was bruised because she did not hold enough tension and wouldn't listen to me when I asked her to put tension so I wouldn't bruise! I had took home and heat up my wax and finish all the spots she missed! Each time The stylists here got so defensive because I know how to cross check hair. The stylist I was going to here to see was defensive and also doesn't shampoo twice after hair coloring so now I have a pillow at home that is permanently stained! I've been getting my hair done for over ten years now and I've never had a pillow stained from hair color. Ever. She also used a brush on me that she used on the client before me, I saw the hair in the brush and the client it was used on. That is unsanitary and against state board for any state.for my redo appt I was trying to give the other stylist my color formulas and she literally said that she's" just going to use bleach because that's what will come out best in her professional opinion ". Well I'm a service provider professional as well, and I treat clients so much better than that and with the most respect. I like dimension with my hair color and it practically looks like a on scalp color now. they don't foil the hairline because it's not "natural" -when us blondes like to see our hairline around our face lightened. Why do I need to specify and request good service? It shouldn't be this damn difficult to have a great Aveda experience.I'm scheduled for a redo today and yet I'm paying a product charge fee, when redos are supposed to be completely complimentary to make the client happy. The stylist blamed my hair for being so grown out at the root. First off I've done hair for military girls that have to get through a whole deployment and come home and get their hair foiled. I didn't blame their hair. And I made it look the same way just as if they never left. So having over two inches of out growth is just a lazy excuse of a stylist to not want to do a heavy foil. I'm not happy with this business at all. The owner mentioned no fees. Read and remember when I type that just because someone's "been doing hair for twenty years" or " been doing hair for six years" doesn't mean anything as far as the love of hair is concerned.I was raised and trained better and trust me if I could get my hair done where I was trained I would. Shoot, if I could do my own hair I certainly would. But I have to settle for this. Pictures to come. Never going back. It's not worth over $200!!! I'd pay that amount if they had better customer service but I'm done, I gave this place way too many chances to change my mind. Gotta go to salon centric to get myself some color so I can do my foils at home and in awhile I'm going to try Gaia salon and spa in franklin wisconsin , wish me luck.pictures to come. If you read this far, I hope this helps, clients deserve better. Don't forget that especially when you're paying for it.and no you're my asking a lot &youre not askin for a miracle when you know what you want- so don't settle for crap. read more

I went to Inspire because I got a Groupon for a therapeutic massage. I live right down the road from Inspire and thought it would be a more convenient place for a massage than Neroli or Azana, which I have been to before for massages. It's definitely a different experience than either of those places. You get undressed in the room, so there aren't any changing rooms/robes/showers. When the masseuse came in, she explained that this was a non-theraputic massage...at that point I wasn't looking at the groupon, so I didn't argue that I paid for the therapeutic massage which it clearly stated on the groupon. This was the lightest, least satisfying massage I've had. Near the end of the massage, when she was massage the front of my upper body, I could smell the scent of cigarettes coming from her hands...not relaxing at all. The front desk area was kind of disorganized...like a different review said, I'm not sure if they don't have an actual receptionist, but that's what it seemed like. I would definitely not go back there. I'd rather spend $80 at Azana or Neroli and actually feel like I got a massage. read more
