From the moment I pulled up for my appointment at the service department, I was greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for my entire experience. The fact that the owner, Jarod, is still deeply involved in every aspect of the business speaks volumes about their dedication to quality and customer satisfaction. Walking into their showroom, I was immediately struck by the cleanliness and organization, a refreshing sight in the world of off-road side by side businesses. The staff, knowledgeable and approachable, made sure I felt attended to during my visit, checking in regularly to ensure everything was running smoothly. What's truly remarkable is how each member of the team is willing to pitch in wherever needed, creating a seamless and efficient environment. During my service appointment, I was personally escorted to the service department and introduced to the service manager, a gesture that underscored their commitment to personalized attention. Throughout the process, they kept me informed every step of the way, ensuring I never felt in the dark about the status of my rig. Overall, my experience at Big Pine Sports was nothing short of exceptional, and I'll definitely be returning for all my off-road needs. Disclaimer, I live in Salt Lake County and drive all the way to them because of their service, prices and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Trust me is it well worth the drive.

After telling him our wish list, he took us to the perfect side by side. He gave us a lot of helpful suggestions and was a great salesperson without any pressure. We look forward to taking our new Kawasaki Ridge out and go exploring. We have had wonderful help and service from our experience at Big Pine Sports these past few years with servicing our Yamaha. I would highly recommend Big Pine Sports to anyone who is interested or looking for service, parts or side by sides, etc. Thank you again to Joe for your time and expertise working with us. It was greatly appreciated.

Service so bad you'll think it's malicious…read more Much like the other one-star reviewer's experience, we were also treated like Altitude Cycle must make so much money they can afford to let thousands of dollars walk out the door. My wife and I wanted to purchase two mountain bikes, along with a full compliment of accessories, and were going to have our bikes serviced there indefinitely. We also planned to have our road bikes serviced there, and to buy a handful of family bikes when the need would arise. All told, had the employees and manager cared to figure out what our long-term business relationship would bring they would've realized we were prepared to spend around $10k. Long story short, we were jerked around by staff reference ordering one of the bikes. Over the course of a month they "took down our information" a couple of times, stated outright they ordered one of the bikes they didn't have on hand, never called us back, and when we finally went into the store they lied straight to our faces when they started throwing each other and the new owner under the bus. We spent a month of this outdoor season waiting for this bike to get in, when they never had any intention of ordering it. One of their lies is that they claimed there was a "misunderstanding" and they "never took our information down.". But they in fact took our information down the first time in store, the second time over the phone, declined to bring up the lack of contact information when we went into the store two weeks ago, and this final time in store, they claimed ignorance altogether. This problem of them losing our contact information only came up a month later, meanwhile we've been strung along believing the bike was on order, which the employees told us was the case over the phone and in person. In conclusion, their sheer disregard, indifference, and lies made our experience with Altitude Cycle feel malicious. What other possible explanation is there?

Go visit Grail Cycle and Skate instead. https://www.yelp.com/biz/grail-cycle-and-skate-vernal…read more Altitude Cycle didn't give a damn about my business. Brought my bike in for a repair, they said they'd get back to me with an estimate. 3 days pass so I call them to get an update. Says they need to order a part and will get back to me. 2 days pass, no update. So I pick my bike up because I'm leaving town. Also interested in purchasing a bike. Their website says they have certain models in stock. When I visited the store they didn't - just more expensive bikes. Visited Grail Cycle and Skate based on a recommendation from a local. The vibe there was completely different. The owner was knowledgeable, helpful, and it was obvious he loved to bike. I bought a bike from them. Altitude Cycle = waste of space. You'd get the same experience at a Wal-Mart.

I had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience at this shop. I dropped off two…read moree-bikes and encountered issues with both the quality of work and the management's conduct. **Bike #1:** I was charged $75 for a flat repair and derailleur adjustment (on a new bike)--nearly double the market rate. Worse, the bike now only shifts through half its gears (it worked perfectly before), and the "repaired" tire went flat after one ride in my driveway. When I tried to inflate it, the tube popped at only **10 psi**, indicating a faulty installation. **Bike #2:** The experience with my wife's bike was even worse. The quote spiraled from a tune-up to a total of $365 as they continually found "new" problems, including issues with a derailleur that had zero problems previously. **Customer Service:** Jerry's communication style is aggressive and condescending. When I questioned the mounting costs, he used scare tactics, repeatedly telling me the bike was "dangerous" and "unsafe to ride" to pressure me into more repairs. When I tried to voice my concerns about being nickel-and-dimed during this three-week ordeal, I was laughed at and hung up on three separate times. I was even insulted personally when he told me he "would have never let his bike get this bad." This shop relies on upselling through fear and has zero respect for its customers. Save your money and go somewhere that values integrity and basic mechanical competence.
