From the minute I walked in I was greeted by several polite and well dressed employees. They had a sale on carharts which distracted me from my goal but was very impressed by the price and selection. One of the employees took the time to show me their new updated selection of boots and clothing as well. The prices were very competitive to the big box stores and I love the small town, family owned feel. I'll definitely be coming back for sure.

I asked him a bunch of questions about sprinklers and he was very generous with his information. One time I needed a piece of plexi-glass and a worker dug up a remnant for me. They are very knowlegable about paint and wood finish. They can make a copy of any key. I highly recommend them. The only thing I can think of that isn't five stars is their small parking lot and they are kind of out of the way.

Southwest Plumbing may be friendly to you if you're a plumber, but to an ignorant layman like me, I…read morefelt ridiculed for my plumbing ignorance. The woman who volunteered to help me seemed really bothered by my simple plumbing questions. She said all the installation steps so quickly I had to ask for her to repeat it and told her I was 'slow' so she would teach me more slowly. Eventually I got the message she was trying to get across to me and headed for the counter with the required parts. The whole time she appeared downright bothered and/or stressed out about my questions. Don't know why, I was the only customer in the building at the time. I asked her a couple questions about tools that I may need and her demeanor and the way she treated me made me feel like an idiot and unwelcome. I don't know if she was stressed out that morning or just doesn't like to help people that aren't plumbers by trade, but that is the worst experience I've ever had at a hardware type of store. I just wanted to repair the PEX that had required me to shut off water at my house. It was a big inconvenience and already was not an ideal start for my day, but I was respectful and friendly for that whole visit and came out hoping to never return again unless absolutely necessary since they're the only dedicated plumbing store in the county. Try Sutherlands and CJ's first - super friendly and they have most of the parts that you'd need for basic plumbing repairs - that's what I did afterwards and they were beyond helpful and super friendly to boot.
