The menu does appear like it has potential just needed more TLC when making the food. We appreciate the wait staff trying to make up for the negative experience with the food, but also would appreciate the attentiveness from the waitress. They did seem short staffed, so she may have been stressed out but when a customer provided feedback...maybe take it more graciously? Overall, this feels like typical resort food. The noise volume detracted from the intimacy of a couples dinner. If you are really adventurous- this place is for you. If you favor the more familiar with a twist, you may be there the wrong night.

Update after day 2: skip the corn beef hash, and the omelet we got was just so-so. The "scramble" style egg dishes are much better. The home fries didn't get enough love in yesterday's review. They are quite excellent. And, the banana bread French toast was as advertised. Don't miss it. You can get a single slice as a side order for five bucks as of this writing, and you will not regret it. Again, excellent and friendly service and my kind of music.
