Just had my f250 serviced starting with Miranda &Wayne in front service dept. We stay with Dearborn because on these 2. They are very honest and sincere. We bought a 2024 edge from Dearborn mainly because we knew of service in back. Can't say enough of technicians in back. Keep up good work. We thank those who look after our rides. read more

If I could give less than a 1 star I would. My boyfriend and I were looking at getting a new truck and trading in our current one. We had found one that we were interested in but unfortunately wasn't on the lot it was in Calgary. We had put a $500 deposit on the truck as we wanted to make sure that we would get notified when it arrived as we were traveling from Salmon Arm to see it. the truck was taking longer than expected so we started to shop around else where. We ended up buying a truck from our local dealership in Salmon Arm. When calling the Kamloops ford dealership they told us that they are not going to give us out $500 back!!!! this is unacceptable people shop around for vehicles all the time and it happens. its a part of the business. This happened on February 13 2021 and it is now May 14th and we are in a current fight with VSA to get our money back. I do not recommend this dealership at all!!! go somewhere else!!! read more

We received an 11th hour call on Friday afternoon that the truck was ready. My husband booked a flight from Vancouver and was able to pick up the truck Aug 31. The lack of communication, the lack of empathy for our situation, the mixed messages and constant changes regarding when the truck would be ready still leave us dissatisfied with them. I am increasing the star rating simply because the truck was ultimately done in time for us to get it this weekend. read more

We booked recall and warranty repair work with Dearborn two weeks in advance, since that was the first day they had a "Courtesy Car" available and we're from out of town. After being assured our repairs would be covered under warranty, and that all the work would be "Less than a half day at most," we finally received a call at 4:30 that our vehicle was "done." Upon return, none of the warranty work was completed, simply stating that despite the fact that we've had the car 6 months and put 4000km on it, the warranty did not cover the repairs (Despite assuring us they were 100% covered before we left.) No phone call to let us know, no communication whatsoever. Furthermore, to emblazon "Dearborn Ford Courtesy Car" on the side of the vehicle that we had to PAY to rent for the day is a little disingenuous, since the term "Courtesy Car" implies that it has been loaned to you as a "courtesy" for bringing your business to them. This was no such courtesy; perhaps it should read "Rental Car" on the side. I won't give them my business again, and neither should you. There is more than one Ford dealership in Kamloops. read more

If I could give less the 1 star I would. Bought a 60 thousand dollar truck from them. When I took it in to have a low tire light looked at they wanted to charge me 71 bucks to put air in my tires and reset sensors. Customer service sucks. If my truck broke down in front of Dearborn I would still have it towed to Kamloops Ford read more

A month after a regular service at Dearborn in which I was told that everything was "perfect" with my vehicle, I found that my ABS light was coming on intermittently and my brake felt sticky. I returned to Dearborn Ford, who promised to have a look and let me know what they found in 2-3 hours. It took two of my own calls for follow up and 6 hours for them to even start looking at my vehicle. Another 2 hours later, they informed me that both of my front bearings needed to be replaced and that the pinion seal in my rear differential needed to be replaced: a total of $1300+ dollars in repairs, and that they would need to keep the truck overnight and emergency order the parts for the bearings. I decided that I needed to get another opinion when I was informed that the new pinion seal and oil for the differential alone would cost more than $200. When I went to retrieve my vehicle they charged me $270 just for the diagnosis! I took my truck to Ideal Brake and Exhaust the next morning. They got back to me within two hours about the exact problem and had everything fixed by the early afternoon. They showed me the exact problem with the outer wheel bearing on the part from my vehicle and on a diagram, explained how it should look, gave me the part for a 20% discount, and informed me of the exact amount left on my brakes. They told me that they had not been cleaned in a while, and after Ideal dusted them off they feel great (something that I had been told had been done in my regular servicing/brake check at Dearborn). Ideal informed me that they didn't think any other work needed to be done on my truck at this time (no imminent issue with the differential). All this service at Ideal cost only $233, or $40 cheaper than the diagnosis alone at Dearborn, and much less than the $800 quoted by them to replace the front bearings. Go to Ideal instead! I'm very frustrated and disappointed with the terrible and costly service at Dearborn. read more
