Franco's Auto Service has been in Kamloops for, well, as long as i can remember and arguably the most respected independent auto service business in Kamloops. Franco's unofficially specializes in the higher end European and Japanese vehicles but don't worry he will work on your POS as well :P Franco is one of those old school European trades people, he takes his craft and reputation VERY seriously. An ex-Ferrari race mechanic (yea, no kidding!); although, he has long since stopped turning wrenches himself and has focused on running his business. I understand that Franco expects the same pride in their craft of his technicians as he has, thus they are among the best in Kamloops. Francos' boasts very clean, bright and organized facility... I don't think eating off the floor would be recommended, but you probably could, safely. A full service shop, from oil changes in your Ford Focus to replacing the transmission in your 5 series BMW, at rates that are better than the dealer. Aside to the service, Franco does deal in used vehicles to a minor degree (usually 1/2 dozen vehicles at a time), offering mostly VW and Honda. These cars are generally in very good shape, thus not cheap used, but quality used.

We spoke to some locals after dropping the vehicle off and they all spoke so highly of them. On our return they showed us that we also needed to check the turbo engine coolant. They finally found one, but it was in Ontario 4000km away and they want to drive it here. When I refuse and said "No, I want a new truck with no km on it, not a newer truck with 4000km on it ".They were rude and kept my $1000 deposit. Bad customer service, pushy and dishonest sell-man, Don't believe what they are telling you, they don't have the best price. Don't settle for a car you don't want. Shop around. After my bad luck with Rivershore Chrysler Dodge Jeep, I start shopping around and at my surprise that model was available at multiple dealership. I found one $1500 cheaper with a extra $2500 of option, I am so happy I didn't bought from Rivershore Chrysler.

We had found one that we were interested in but unfortunately wasn't on the lot it was in Calgary. We had put a $500 deposit on the truck as we wanted to make sure that we would get notified when it arrived as we were traveling from Salmon Arm to see it. the truck was taking longer than expected so we started to shop around else where. We ended up buying a truck from our local dealership in Salmon Arm. When calling the Kamloops ford dealership they told us that they are not going to give us out $500 back!!!! this is unacceptable people shop around for vehicles all the time and it happens. its a part of the business. This happened on February 13 2021 and it is now May 14th and we are in a current fight with VSA to get our money back. I do not recommend this dealership at all!!! go somewhere else!!!
