We called Chuck, and after he inspected the roof, he came to us and said that a new roof was not needed. He provided a detailed explanation, showing us many pictures. I called the insurance company and informed them that Chuck with All American Roofing stated we did not need to replace the roof. The insurance company guy said that in all his years, he had never had a contractor say that a roof did not need to be replaced after an inspector had deemed it necessary. I felt terrible bothering him, but we had these rose bushes in the front yard and there were a few shingles that had fallen on just one of the the multiple bushes. I just mentioned it to him and it was immediately gone (it wasn't a big deal and they were being as tidy as possible, but the bush was full bloom and I love roses so I wanted to keep as many flowers as possible!)! He didn't seem bothered or agitated and someone on the crew even apologized to me. I had two smaller kiddos I was concerned about them getting hurt after the replacement, but the crew did a great job keeping the mess as organized as possible and they even did a second check, we had no issues at all after the roof was finished being replaced. I contracted with RCC, Roof Concepts and Construction, for a new roof on August 13, 2024. I am the…read moreproperty owner and I have waited 5 months before leaving a review, hoping Brian would do the right thing. On completion, the roof did not pass inspection by a licensed TREC (Texas Real Estate Commission) inspector on Agust 17, 2024. Also, during installation, it rained into my home even though the owner was alerted to a coming rain storm. He assured me the roof was completely sealed, but it wasn't and there were no tarps on site to cover the roof. Severel rooms in my home received damage from the water and the insulation in the attic was destroyed. Brian did repairs on September 20, 37 days after original installation, and again on September 20. On September 27, Brian finally went on roof to see for himself the job that we were complaining about. When he came down, he said "It is SO BAD I have to get another crew". He had never sent out an experienced roofing crew, just handymen, and repairs were not done correctly. The roof failed another inspection by licensed inspector on October 30, 2024. More repairs were done in November, and another inspection was done in December. There were still deficiencies. So after 5 months and 3 inspections, my roof is still not acceptable. Brian said my roof was completely sealed when I warned him of approaching rain storm. It was not and there were no tarps on site to cover roof. Said roof vents covered by insurance were replaced, but two independent roofers said they were not replaced, just painted over. Said they are committed to making things right and ensuring that I was completely satisfied with final outcome. Be sure to read both sides of their contract.

I had 4 roof repair companies come out to give me an estimate. It turned out, I had a leak around one pipe jack. Most gave me the option to seal around or replace the whole pipe jack and seal. The prices varied, but a coupe wanted to charge me double the others for pipe jack replacement. Finally, I got one last quote from José at Legendary Roofing. He gave me such a detailed explanation of the repair and my options. He charged me the same as the lower end quotes I received for the pipe jack replacement, but he also replaced all the pipe jacks on my house and did roof maintenance for that price. He also noticed some broken shingles from a tree rubbing against my house and replaced that too, all for a great price. I felt like he cared and took his time. And he showed me detailed pictures of everything done. Now, in 2020, he was the only one I called when I had a leak in a new area. He provided great detail, showed pictures of what was happening and showed me in my attic as well where a potential new leak could happen. He even gave me the option to seal the problem children for free versus replacing the plywood and shingles. I went with his recommendation to replace the plywood and shingles, and he also included some vents to my attic/roof for the cost. The repair was complete two days later.
