Set the appointment for Thursday, April 30, 2026, @ 1:30, I show up for my appointment, only to be informed by Colton the replacement windshield was broken in transit, and he did not call be because he did not have my phone number. I set a 2:30 appointment for Friday, May 1, 2026, to have the windshield replaced. Friday morning, today, I get a phone call at 10:30 saying they are going to have to use a different vender, and they won't have the windshield until 2-4 pm and would not be able to replace my windshield until Monday. First question I had was why they are just finding out they had to use a different vender? Wouldn't the vender tell them earlier than the Friday's delivery time??? I asked for a manager and was told by Colton he was out and headed to Huntsville, however, the manager called me back from the same number within 5 minutes! When I asked why they can't install the windshield Friday afternoon, which I have a 2:30 appointment, I was informed they won't have time, they close at 5, and they don't work overtime! When I complained, the manager informed he was refunding my money, and I would receive my money in the next 3 to 5 business days. I plan on sharing this horrible customer service with all of my friends, family and clients. We will never use or recommend Able Glass.

I have an impact resistant roof that was installed six years ago By Jaxon. My husband and I paid in…read morefull for a roofing system that we were told would be a long-lived and trouble-free. However, after about three years, and after my husband died , I have seen issues that hinted at poor workmanship. The roof integrity became even more questionable when it leaked substantially twice within twelve months in the same spot during a heavy rain. I called Jaxon roofing company last year after the first leak that came through the ceiling interior for warranty service and, after months of waiting, they came and added longer nails to the main ridge, which did nothing to stop the leak. This year, following the second leak, I received little response to my claim against the contractor's warranty so I had to call an independent roofing company, who agreed to assess the leak problem objectively and give an opinion as to the cause. Their inspection concluded that the original installation was done incorrectly. I had yet a third contractor inspect the leak area and he had the same opinion---poor workmanship in the original installation which lead to the recurrent leaks and may have been ongoing for longer than I realized. During this process I also discovered some issues/omissions in the original documents and registration with the manufacturer on the warranty which I will now be pursuing for more complete disclosure. I would not recommend this roofing company based on my direct experience with them. I have no malice toward them but have suffered disappointment and loss without sufficient remedy since first contact. My last requests for inspection and warranty claim against workmanship deficiencies have to date been ignored.

I was planning on getting several quotes from different providers but after meeting Randy I knew that was unnecessary. Randy is extremely knowledgeable about windows. During the consultation he answered all our questions and gave us a complete overview of what our options were and the pros and cons of each. He showcased their flawless installation process and explained why each step was necessary. He gave us several quotes on the spot and advised us on ways we could save money by combining windows in certain areas of the house. We had some bay windows that caused some issues but Randy made it work the way we wanted and probably lost money on those windows as a result. The Ultra Windows work crew is also excellent. We desperately wanted to replace our single paned aluminum windows throughout the house. After talking with several companies, we went with Ultrawindows based on current on-line reviews and were not disappointed in any way. Randy presented the pros and cons of all of the window types he installs. We went with the Don Young 8300 series aluminum windows. I cannot impress on anyone how important proper installation of any replacement window is. Jorge and his installation crew were very professional and methodical in their approach. Everyone went their seperate ways, carefully covering interiors, removing glass and window frames, and placing the new windows. All 24 windows (15 window boxes) were installed in 2 days with 3 hours on the third day to clean and caulk the exterior. The crew left the house each day as clean as when they arrived. I cannot praise the crew enough for their professionalism and methods. As far as the windows, we have already noticed a difference in the temperature balance and the lack of air infiltration as noticed by the air resistance when opening an exterior door. We absolutely landed on our feet when a neighbour recommended Randy to us. Can only re-iterate what everyone else says in their reviews. Randy and his team are first class in every respect and deserve the high praise they receive. Their work ethic is exceptional, the quality of their work is perfect (and we also have had no touch up after the install process which I also am amazed at). Randy Swearingen and his crew put all new windows into my renovation in January. 2014. Using Ultra Windows was definitely the best decision I could have made. In the end, I have very high-quality windows that cut my heating and cooling bills, reduce noise, help me to feel safer (they are very tough!) and look beautiful on my 1940 house. I had three different installers offer me a bid, as well as the Lowe's team, and Randy's group ended up being almost as inexpensive as the lowest bid, but for a very much better product. Even more importantly, he and his team were extraordinarily sensitive and kind--always making sure I knew what was happening, staying right on schedule, cleaning up every fragment of dust, and making my family feel totally comfortable with the process. Did not do whole house, but areas with largest windows: 2 picture windows and an 8-foot patio door. Based on recommendations, overall cost and that Ultra Windows used a highly experienced team, hired for job. Liked the fact that they thoroughly caulked openings before installing windows and patio door, then finished with neat and clean caulking around finished frames. No other competitor included the additional caulking. Very professional team--focused on the job, exacting, left area cleaner, inside and outside, than it was. The screen delivered for patio door was not the right size. They re-ordered immediately and returned a couple of weeks later to install. Very satisfied with results. I wasn't sure if it would fit where it needed to be installed, but Andrew got it in that spot perfectly! He not only programmed the two openers and exterior keypad, but also programmed my car. I didn't realize how bad the door was functioning, but definitely didn't like the squeaking. I opted to do the springs and rollers as the door was pretty old. What a difference!!! It's so smooth and really quiet now. I was so happy with everything, I signed up for the yearly maintenance.

Everything worked great, except today we noticed it was making weird sounds and "jumping" as it went up or down. We knew we needed someone to come and look at it. Called at 9 AM this morning to request an appointment. Never did I think I'd get an appointment today, but sure enough, I did. Got a text after my phone call confirming the tech would be here between 12 and 4. Right around noon, I get a call from the tech that he'll be here soon. Then I get a text confirming he's on his way - with his picture, too! What a great idea! Repairs were completely in a timely manner, price was very reasonable and technician was obviously knowledgeable. And he was very polite, too. Highly recommend this company, as I could not have asked for better service.

I actually did not realize that this was the same business as AutomatedShade.Com until I noticed…read morethat the phone numbers were the same. Here goes. Do you know how you have people come to your house and do work only to be disappointed with how they comport themselves or the quality of the work or their products? Not the case here. This is easily the most professional organization I have dealt with in a long time. This all started with my wife and I deciding that we would like to have some automated shades installed in our living room and master bedroom. In the case of the living room, the problem was that the shades were back behind a fairly large couch and hard to get to so they always stayed down. In the case of the master bedroom, I am very sensitive to light and tend to work odd hours so I need a complete blackout environment (think a photo darkroom) so that I can sleep. We called several companies to come out, take a look at what we wanted and give us quotes. One of those companies was AutomatedShade.Com and, after exchanging some initial email with basic specifications, Nancy and Roy came out on a Saturday to meet with us. As soon as they came in the house, we immediately felt more comfortable with them than with the other people we had spoken to. They were on time, professional and helpful making several suggestions that we would not have thought of. Roy and I discussed the engineering of the solution while Nancy and my wife sat down to pick out fabrics. Within 45 minutes, everyone knew exactly what needed to happen, we shook hands and waited for their quote. Several days later (the time frame that we agreed) I received the quote from Nancey. Just so we are clear, they are not cheap but, I am very particular about quality and was convinced that they were the only ones who had the capability to do exactly what we wanted. We signed the contract and paid the standard half up front. It takes a couple of weeks for these shades to be constructed which we used to have the electrical contractor come out and run the necessary wiring. This took about a day and was relatively painless. Then the installation began and was done in 3 phases: Day 1: Drywall repair from the electrical work and hanging and wiring of the bedroom shades. Day 2: Light seal of the bedroom and when I say light seal, I mean SEALED. King Tut never had it so good. Day 3: Hanging and wiring of the living room shades. Throughout all of this, Roy was extremely professional putting down drop cloths, cleaning up after himself and even doing touch up paint where necessary. The crowning touch: My wife watches several babies during the week so Roy was kind enough to agree to come in on Saturday, his day off, so as not to disturb the little ones. What can I say? I am blown away. We love our shades and the experience could not have been better. In this day and age of people who over-promise and under-deliver, finding an organization of this quality is rare. Now if they only built patios (my next project) life would be perfect! Thank you Nancey and Roy. It was a pleasure working with you.
