Salmon special with crispy sweet potatoes and greens

Just finished another delicious meal at Deans. I tried the sweet potato appetizer for the first time and it was beyond expectations! Roasted sweet potatoes with goat cheese and an apple bourbon reduction! I'll absolutely be getting this dish again!

The atmosphere and staff are warm and welcoming. We tried the Elote dip which was a chalkboard special and it didn't disappoint with pulled pork on top and house made chips. I ordered the cornbread toast as my entree and it was spectacular! My husband ordered the burnt end and the sauce was delicious, the meat was tender and the shoestring fries were crispy and well seasoned. We asked about their brunch because there isn't a posted menu and the waitress shared it with us. We will without a doubt be back!

    Spinach salad was amazing!

Friendly efficient servers. Food is always good. I love their menu items. Even though classified as barbecue, they take great care with their sides, salads and apps

Checking out this cool BBQ place in Granger!

Half chicken special with mushrooms and asparagus

This place was so good! The goat cheese and pulled pork with cornbread appetizer was original and delicious. We had two of the daily specials as entrees with brisket and a smoked half chicken-the meat was juicy and very well seasoned. We tried two of their barbecue sauces which were both delicious. The cocktails were also excellent and they had a great whiskey selection. Highly recommend.

First time here but it won't be the last! Cool vibe. Lots of drink options- hard and soft, beer and wine. The draft options are from local breweries (nice touch). Food- brisket sandwich on special and it was so delicious! The fries were fantastic- hot and crispy. A great little spot to visit in Granger

    Westwind Primus NEIPA

The smoked, then braised, beef short rib was probably one of the best beef entrées I've ever had. It is served with delicious sweet potato mash, phenomenal gravy, and perfectly prepared broccolini. The Westwind Primus NEIPA was a perfect accompaniment. Service was stellar, and I loved the ambience.

We were disappointed to find that they only had a brunch menu on Sunday. We went right when they opened on Sunday because we had previously gone on Friday night and found the place to be packed with no where to wait for a table comfortably. Our food was tasty, but there were few combinations that would appeal to a simple palate. Maybe this restaurant should expand or try to find a place for people to wait without feeling like they're staring at the people who are eating.

The food was very good but at $18.00 for a cocktail (Manhattan) I'll think twice before making that my "go to".

The restaurant is clean and attractive. I had the Croque Madame, which was literally perfect, and better than those I had in Paris. The bread was perfectly toasted, the cheese perfectly melted, the egg perfectly cooked (not runny, not overly hard), the ham perfectly salted. Others in my group enjoyed the Short Ribs Benedict, Grand Bebe, and Tortilla de Patatas. (I'll note our first visit was the morning after a Notre Dame home game, and their stores were depleted: we could have anything on the menu as long as it was chicken. :) The chicken dishes we had that visit were very well done as well - moist and juicy on the inside and lovely on the outside. Obviously we came back, just not after a home game!)

Onion Soup Gratinee - $11 - Needed salt and wasn't very flavorful. 2/5 stars. Chorizo and Shrimp - $22 - This was easily the best dish. Cooked well, good flavor, and a decent portion (probably because the price is so high). 4/5 stars. Chicken and Leek Puff Pastry - $26 - The pastry was lacking. It was soggy, weird taste to it, and just not pleasant. The filling was also mediocre. Don't get this. 0/5 stars. L'Entrecote de Paris (Steak Frites) - $45 - The steak was chewy, the fries were over salted. For $45, this was not enough steak, whatsoever. Not like it was a good cut either. It's a rip off. 0/5 stars. Pan Roasted Duck Breast - $36 - My mom and I both ordered this, and we could combine both of our dishes to make ONE duck breast. Portion was horribly small. Never have I ever been given HALF a duck breast. The sauce wasn't good either and it was broken. 2/5 stars cause the rest of it was cooked fine. The birthday dessert was a scoop of ice cream and some stale cinnamon pastry thing. This was wildly bad. If the flavors were on point, the prices would be understandable. But the flavors were bad, the prices are expensive, and we waited a very long time to get our food. We couldn't get into a different restaurant that night (it was a Saturday night on move in weekend), but this one we could get into, and now we know why. Don't go here.

Corndance Tavern - The delicious steak fondue

Corndance Tavern was highly recommended by both friends and colleagues as one of the best…read morerestaurants in the Mishawaka area. It was quite a pleasant experience to dine here. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious. We loved the potato skins which were unique in that they were more like tempura than traditional potato skins. The Brussels had a ton of flavor as did the steaks and salads. The highlight was probably the Sword of John Adams. It's basically a giant kabob with grilled meats (steak, lamb & chicken) and vegetables. It reminded me of something I imagine you'd see at Medieval Times but much more tastefully done. The Pumpkin Spice Gelato and Crème Brûlée were a nice way to finish our dinner. A bit unexpected that they also offer sushi. We did not try it this time but based on our first experience, would feel confident to try it next time since everything was SO good.

Now for the food... we were so excited for the steak fondue... three small cast iron pots, less than a 1/4 cup of fondue the same amt of meat and mushrooms and a mound of toasted bread cubes... this was tasty, but for $18 those crocks should have been filled three quarters full! For dinner I ordered 1/2 of the arugula salad with chicken. I could not eat the salad as it was drenched in dressing, almost like it it been dressed earlier and lest to wilt.. chicken was over seasoned and quite dry. The burger... COVERED in two sauces... they don't described it as a smothered burger... such a shame bc the flavors were there. If choosing, pick the others, prices are much better and hands down, so is the food..
