She brought me three other dresses that she thought I would like. I'm glad she did because I normally won't spend $100 and up on a dress for myself. I really liked one of her suggestions so I purchased it. I was happy there was a 20 percent off sale. The dress ended up being $140 but I think I'll get enough wears from it making it worth it. They were so helpful with their recommendations and letting me know their thoughts on which dress was the best for me to buy. I didn't feel pushed into buying either. Catherine Simms was the last shop I visited, so I was worried about ordering my dress just months from the wedding but everyone at the shop always assured me the dress would arrive on time- and it did. When I yelped about that stores abusive customer "dis" service she sent me a threatening email. The owner Jane is the complete antithesis of that experience! Jane is welcoming and actually interested in her customers, other than just for their dollar. She has a lovely assortment of formals and carries high end designers, well maintained clothing at prices that actually make sense. I will try to return a few times a year and stock up and drop off! I will say that in my last few visits I have encountered Tina's daughter who is the perfect combination of direct and personable. She possesses both the patience and the skill to reach a wider customer base. I recommended Tina's to a close friend who shared that her interaction with Tina was not the best, but Tina's daughter stepped in and was wonderful so she will be a repeat customer. They have a good selection, alterations are done on site and the expertise is not easy to find elsewhere.
