They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to help me find the right sizes, including checking online when needed. From being greeted the minute I…read morewalked in by Marissa, to Wendy in the fitting room grabbing sizes for me, everyone I encountered was SO kind, helpful, and honestly, they just made shopping fun! Loft was actually my first store I stopped in. I ventured around the mall for a while after, and every other store felt so short staffed, nobody greeted me, I had to find associates to help me, etc., after an hour or so, I ended up going back to Loft and shopping more! I appreciate a kind and helpful environment when I shop. Not to mention the associates made me feel excited and happy to be there! Definitely recommend this spot. Also - since it's at a super busy outlet mall, the best times to go to avoid a crowd are first thing when they open on the weekends, and weeknights in the few hours before the mall closes.

A young lady, either teen or very early 20s, was helping another young lady at register 6. After she completed the transaction, I waited to be called up. The cashier walked away & began putting away hangers(?) until the customer she had just helped, returned because the alarm went off. She removed the security tag, the customer walked away and I still waited to be called. After 3 seconds, I began to walk towards register 6. Immediately, the cashier looked up and said a little sternly, "I'm not open. I'm closed." I responded, " Oh, you aren't? Then who's open?" No response. She put her head down and began gathering hangers. I asked again, "Who's open?" Still no response. An older woman, with her hair parted in the middle, wearing a bun or ponytail, working in the same area said, although not making eye contact, "She's opened over there but she's helping someone." I looked around and asked, "Who? Where?" She said it again, then looked in the direction towards register 1 that was behind me. I saw that cashier bent to the floor helping a woman look at jewelry. I walked back in line. I grew a little perturbed because customer service was lacking quite a bit, which was unusual for this store. I took out my phone and took pictures of both registers so I could remember the numbers. Finally, register 1 was ready to assist me. I noticed the delay in returning my receipt and just then another young lady walked up to the register and furtively said after being asked "What?" by the cashier, "I heard someone was taking pictures?" I just looked at her and the cashier at register 1. I didn't approve of the mind game because we both knew she was there about me. She repeated herself. I spoke up and said I had, no one was in it & it was for reference. I then took my receipts and walked out. Now, if interaction with me had been as quick as it was, when those females assumed I had taken their pictures, this review wouldn't be done. What has happened to customer service? Now, in the past, I have witnessed cashiers involved in each others's conversations while I was at the register and on the merchandise floor but not to the extent of being blatantly ignored when I asked an innocent and polite question. This is an outlet store which basically means they provide out of season or end of season or…read moresometimes minor minor damaged goods from the normal retail stores around the country. I think outlet stores are great because they are usually expansive and not expensive. And also they offer an opportunity to get some great deals and overlook a whole range of stock which you usually could get in one sitting at a normal retail store. This place in particular is pretty neat. There is a great expansive selection and great staff on hand to help you out. The place is set up nicely and the layout of the store works well. Come for designer and other goods. It might be a bit hard finding the place because it is situated around the back corner end of the Westgate shopping centre, so maybe go around rather than through the whole centre as it may take a while (lots and lots of tiny crossings)
