When I showed Leo my inspo pics he managed my expectations because we couldn't get to the exact color I wanted without damaging my hair (silvery grey with black tips). My natural hair color is black and was lifted to a brown with blonde high and low lights...so they literally went through my hair strand by strand to group my hair so they could bleach it properly to get my hair as even as possible. After the toner and color was added, washed out, and dried Leo noticed some parts weren't blended well and instead of just taking my money and letting me leave (since I've already been in the chair for 10hrs and they had closed already) he stayed even later to make sure my hair was as perfect as can be. My hair isn't 100% what my inspo pic was because I'll probably need another session to bleach it but I'm still 110% satisfied. Also I saw another review where a person mentioned that they didn't feel welcome because of the language barrier and that was absolutely not the case for me. My first language is English and second is Tagalog. Yes obviously I won't be chatting it up with the stylists in the salon because I don't speak Mandarin but nonetheless every single person that I interacted with was incredibly kind (they brought me snacks since I was there the whole day, they saw I kept fanning myself because I was getting hot under the covers they use and brought me a fan). I 12/10 recommend this place. I live 45 minutes to an hour away and will definitely make the drive next time I need my hair cut and colored.

I showed up and was promptly taken back for a wash and honestly, the wash alone is worth five stars. A double cleanse? Sign me up. My stylist Vee was AMAZING. I didn't go in with much inspo, but he helped me nail down the length and layers I wanted. He did a dry haircut, which caught me off guard since I'm used to wet cuts, but the results spoke for themselves. The cut was perfect. Will definitely be back for my next haircut, and maybe even color! Thank you, Vee :)

I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft. I've done icy blonde highlights, to the newer bronde trend, and they always have high quality work that grows out great. The salon is spacious, clean, well ventilated and comfortable. Clean bathroom, always offer drinks and snacks. Marjorie has done the majority of my coloring jobs and if you're unsure about color choice, is definitely trustworthy to advise on a choice. She is hilarious too! Thiri is great especially with extreme colors / while it's not a look for me, I see girls leaving her chair looking more vibrant than a my little pony. Karen does great haircuts as well. Prices for all their services are reasonable - I just wish they were closer to my home! One of favorite go-tos on the peninsula- please never change lol.

I used to always get a deep therapeutic massage, but the owner, Kat, recommended I try the deep tissue with pressure point treatment. Ever since then, I can't go back to a regular massage. Lilly, the masseuse, is absolutely incredible. She is not only highly skilled but also extremely intuitive and attentive. You can tell she has years of experience and truly understands the body on a deeper level. I was so impressed by how knowledgeable and informative she was throughout the entire session. She checked in, explained what she was doing, and made sure the pressure was exactly right. I told her where I felt sore, and she immediately knew where the pain was really coming from. It honestly felt like she could read my muscles. I KID YOU NOT -- I walked out painless and completely satisfied. I felt like a whole new person. She also suggested adding cupping, which was a total game changer. I've tried cupping before at other places, but Lilly placed the cups exactly on the areas with restricted blood flow.
