When I showed Leo my inspo pics he managed my expectations because we couldn't get to the exact color I wanted without damaging my hair (silvery grey with black tips). My natural hair color is black and was lifted to a brown with blonde high and low lights...so they literally went through my hair strand by strand to group my hair so they could bleach it properly to get my hair as even as possible. After the toner and color was added, washed out, and dried Leo noticed some parts weren't blended well and instead of just taking my money and letting me leave (since I've already been in the chair for 10hrs and they had closed already) he stayed even later to make sure my hair was as perfect as can be. My hair isn't 100% what my inspo pic was because I'll probably need another session to bleach it but I'm still 110% satisfied. Also I saw another review where a person mentioned that they didn't feel welcome because of the language barrier and that was absolutely not the case for me. My first language is English and second is Tagalog. Yes obviously I won't be chatting it up with the stylists in the salon because I don't speak Mandarin but nonetheless every single person that I interacted with was incredibly kind (they brought me snacks since I was there the whole day, they saw I kept fanning myself because I was getting hot under the covers they use and brought me a fan). I 12/10 recommend this place. I live 45 minutes to an hour away and will definitely make the drive next time I need my hair cut and colored.

I didn't go in with much inspo, but he helped me nail down the length and layers I wanted. He did a dry haircut, which caught me off guard since I'm used to wet cuts, but the results spoke for themselves. The cut was perfect. The most important thing a barber can do is listen to you and learn exactly how you like your cut. I've rolled the dice on barbershops that I knew nothing about and usually crapped out. Recommendations are the way to go. Michael listened carefully and went to work. He could tell that I had cut my hair about a month ago. Nice! The guy knows his stuff. Situation: Color Correction *see photos*…read more Background: Bad balayage at another at Stilo Salon, by the owner no less, and turned out nowhere near the inspiration photos I brought in. I was hoping for beige highlights and got bright blonde. I asked for a refund and was only offered a "fix it at no cost". I declined. Intervention: Reached out to Vance who did my hair in the past. Don't ask me why I just didn't come back. Vance was able to see me pretty quick and did an AMAZING job!! He gave me beige highlights and darkened the base which I just love. I'm tanned skin so the blonde highlights was not flattering. Evaluation: I am forever grateful for Vance. He is very skilled at his craft. The result was exactly what I was hoping for from the very beginning when I stepped into the other salon. Note to self....i will never see any other stylist. I highly recommend Vance if you're looking for a highly skilled professional that will make you leave his chair feeling confident and amazing about your hair!!!

I've done icy blonde highlights, to the newer bronde trend, and they always have high quality work that grows out great. The salon is spacious, clean, well ventilated and comfortable. Clean bathroom, always offer drinks and snacks. Marjorie has done the majority of my coloring jobs and if you're unsure about color choice, is definitely trustworthy to advise on a choice. She is hilarious too! Thiri is great especially with extreme colors / while it's not a look for me, I see girls leaving her chair looking more vibrant than a my little pony.
