The newest and cutest small-batch mochi donut spot in town, located conveniently in the Airport Blvd. area (and right next to Kyoko Coffee!). Friendly service, quick and easy ordering process, and available until sold-out (check their Instagram for hours and availability @dduk_dduk_co). Drop by for some yummy mochi donuts ($3.50 ea.)! We ordered the mango, raspberry (with matcha powder), churro (a customer favorite), and chocolate. I really loved the perfectly golden brown, chewy soft texture and flavors all around. The chocolate was perfect and the raspberry was nice and tart. Mango was tangy and the churro was so good! Will definitely be back for another donut and coffee fix.

The mochi donuts were tasty, but there's not much to the experience. They seemed to just be sitting in a cooling box, and the staff handed one over without much enthusiasm. Maybe I was expecting something a little fresher or warmed up from a place that only serves donuts. Still, flavor was good, just not super memorable.

A delicious stop! If you're looking for a sweet treat you can't go wrong with a mochi donut. These donuts were well made and the service was quick. There's plenty of outdoor seating in the area. We got a churro and a vanilla- both were really good. The only downside is it's pricy for just one donut, but they are well done.

Couldn't stop munching between the churro and chocolate, both are equally delicious. Would skip the other flavors.

Great food and service providing recommendations when asked. The chocolate pecan was eaten before we could take a pic. Definitely would come back!

Best Mochi Donuts in Austin! The Mochi Donuts are super fluffy. They have a lot of flavors but the Mango with the Coconut flakes and dried mango is peak and my personal favorite The Churro one is a solid choice. I tried the Passion fruit flavor before it officially added it to the menu, it was awesome they let me do that! They are always super nice and fast. Excellent customer service I really like the food truck art and mascot are super cute Everytime I have the chance I stop by and get some. Definitely a Must if you are in the area

I did not realize that medium comes with two scoops, so that's what I purchased. It was even better the second time around. I was the only one in line so I had the opportunity to sample two other flavors, however, I went with my tried and true pineapple. My server confirmed that the crunchy part was in fact the Taiwanese cake. I have them so many times while visiting Taiwan, I suspected that was the magic ingredient. So super quiet at Kessho today...

Shiv, the chef on board, recommended three meat bowl. I choose jerk, tikka and Mediterranean flavored chicken. It truly was an explosion of flavors and textures in your mouth. Each piece of chicken was individually flavored with generous portions. I can also taste the finely chopped onions, soft yet plump tomatoes, sour cream and another secret sauce. All of these meats, vegetables and sauces topped a bed of fluffy rice. My taste buds were dancing! Shiv was super kind and accomodating. There is covered seating near the food truck. They have a very unique food concept. You can buy chips at the gas station and they will add toppings from the food truck, I.e. like a Dorito or Frito pie with a spice tip. Give Krave Kitchen a try!

Shiv was incredible and so, so, so sweet. He asked us for our feedback multiple times and even gave us some samples of their berry smoothie, which is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend getting Doritos nachos or the hot fries as your bags because both offered great bases. If you can't eat spicy, ask for more white sauce and none of the spicy sauce. I'd also recommend asking for more tomatoes. The chicken schwawrma + gyro was a fantastic combination, and there is so much food for just $12. I highly, highly, highly recommend coming to krave. They open late, and seriously, Shiv is the sweetest. Please support local businesses!

We got the nachos(minus beef), and the flauta plate. Plus a pretty solid sized lemonade. Thirty. Eight. Dollars. I know Austin's food is expensive, but $30+ for sub par food? No way. I wish I could've gotten pictures of the nachos we received, but to paint a picture for you they resembled nachos I received from my public school. Sad. Watery. Bad. Now the flautas plate looked pretty decent actually, but the taste didn't hold up to its looks. Nothing had flavor. The mexican rice was just red white rice with carrots in it. No tomato flavor, or any flavor was in them at all. And the beans were eh, just nothing special to even mention. The best thing about this place was their salsa though! Helped tremendously with the rest of the foods flavor. Now the lemonade, pretty good. Not the best, but for sure helped with the rest of the meal. The service was excellent, but I just wish the food could be on par with the taste of the food. All in all, Im glad I tried it to remember to do a deeper dive on where I go to eat next time.

I love mushrooms and thought about trying the Laughing Buddha which has a breaded/fried mushroom caps with cheese in between, but it might have been a bit too much cheese so I went with the Double Cheeseburger. The double cheeseburger is pretty much everything you want in a solid burger. 2 juicy smashed patties, perfectly melted cheese, and a great balance of toppings without being messy. The flavor is bold and beefy, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. It's the kind of burger that hits the spot from the first bite to the last. The cajun fries were super crisp on the outside and fluffy inside, and the onion rings ended up being one of the standout sides. They were thick-cut, crunchy, and not greasy at all, with a light batter that let the onion actually shine. Both dip well in their nirvana sauce. Service was friendly, and food came out hot. If you're craving a classic, well-made burger meal in Austin, Buddha Burger is absolutely worth a visit. Value wise, I'm still a Buddy's Burger fan as they're also super solid, but Buddha Burger is great too if you're in the area. Do be careful going up and down their stairs to order/pick up order.

There is a good amount of hype behind Asado's so we expected some pretty good food going into it…read moreand what we got was something close but just a bit short. The lot Asado's is in is nice with covered seating and other food trucks all around. They were pretty busy for a drizzly Saturday afternoon so ordering ahead was a good call for us. The food took probably 30 minutes or so between ordering to receiving the text it was really to pickup. They don't have a pickup window as far as we could see so we waited on line and then grabbed our food at the front. The food itself was good but not nearly what was expected in relation to its hype, something that feels a bit common in Austin. We ordered a carnitas super burrito and a cheese quesadilla. The super burrito came with the wrong meat, instead coming with chicken that had a bit of a dry and burnt flavor in it. Luckily that was masked by the rest of the burrito which did taste pretty good. The tortilla itself was soft but with a little bit of crisp to it that gave it a nice bite. Unfortunately, the cheese quesadilla was a miss. The tortilla on it was burnt and very crispy, which some may like, but is definitely not our preference. For what it's worth, maybe this is just a style of Mexican food we don't prefer but either way if you fall in line with that kind of flavor profile then maybe have a bit more realistic expectations coming into this place. Again, Asado's is not bad, just not great. We'd suggest going for yourself and seeing if you'd agree.
