It's parked in a lively spot with other food trucks on campus, so the whole area has a fun, laid-back vibe. I went with the pecan salted caramel flavor, and it was spot on. The ice cream although wasn't as creamy as other gelato spots I've had, it was still fluffy and delicious, with that perfect balance of sweet and salty. I added a chocolate drizzle on top, which was definitely the right move, it tied everything together and made it even more indulgent. The owner was super friendly.

We decided we could pop in for coffee to check the place out after our big meal. Since it was our first time visiting, we had to try the Lemon Almond Poppy cake. It had a beautiful, crunchy crust, and the trio of flavors shine together so harmoniously~ We also tried the Banana Chai to get our caffeine fix & it did not disappoint The decor is so cute, simple & to the point. The place has a great vibe. They seem to be pretty well known for their bagels, so I may have to pop back in to try. Thanks Rockman!!

Upon looking at their reviews it seemed like they were known for their strawberry matcha latte, so even being a typical coffee drinker, I opted to step out of my comfort zone. Usually matcha drinks sound gimmicky and easily overplayed with recent popularity, but having the strawberry matcha here was the best decision I made! I could not have anticipated such a perfectly balanced flavor. The strawberry jam is made in house and they don't skimp on the quality of their matcha. Loved it a little too much I visited Rockman for the remainder of my trip to order this one drink lol. My husband stuck to his iced americano but even that was perfectly enjoyable. Will most definitely be back here for our future Austin visits as the drinks here are our new staple.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.
