This DD's was fully stocked and had an abundance of items to choose from. Great prices for the bargains you get. Service was good, but they need to pick up the hangers on the floor and open the aisle more they are very small. Easy parking. read more

Worst customer service ever. Should tell the workers it doesn't hurt to be nice. There is also no need to talk back to customers.

I love DD's, reasonable pricing, store was clean, cashiers are nice, but the selection was minimal. Maybe I came at a time before their new shipment came in. Would definitely go and visit again though read more

I do a lot of shopping in this stores , I go to different ones to find what I need. I shop for flowers pot make of clay. I look for quality clothes, pots n pans. N also shop for baby gifts name brand, I give it a !!BIG 10 !! read more

I never heard of dd's until my future sis-in-law mentioned to me when I was looking for some inexpensive scrubs for work. They have a decent selection and it seems that they tend to carry scrubs at other stores so it's a safe bet to find scrubs at most stores (I visited El Monte before and they seem to have more of a selection over there). For those that are unfamiliar with dd's, dd's is a subsidiary of Ross-- a more affordable version. They have shoes, purses, luggages, etc. You won't see similar brands (e.g Nike, adidas, coach, Michael kors, Samsonite, etc) at dd's though-- it is truly a no-frills/ random brands most people never heard of. If you're particularly brand conscious, Ross would be a better choice. I did see a dress (made by Alfani) that you can find at Macy's. I would visit again for scrubs-- there is no way I'm purchasing $100 for a brand name set (albeit the $100 brand name is probably better fitting and softer but still not worth it!) read more

Worst dds. Go to pico or Norwalk. They kick you out of dressing room with a crappy attitude with no explanation. I was trying to find an outfit to see what fit me but they can clean up the mess since they treat their customers like crap. DONT SHOP HERE. read more

I Was getting charged out by a nice young cashier lady but I couldn't help but notice a older lady with rainbow dyed hair was being extremely rude and chewing out a elderly lady about returns. Her delivery and tone could be the total opposite cuz I found out after she's the manager and her name is JENNY So watch out for her negative attitude. Otherwise always great prices just not the best people! read more

I shop here often and never been disappointed... til today. I've never waited 10 min, let alone 20-25 min in line to purchase my items while the lady making her purchases had about 40 items. Considering my items were bday gifts I toughed it out. The girl behind the register never once called for back up, she allowed the line to get up to about 20+ people. When I finally made my purchase help and loss prevention had finally arrived. The girl behind the register told loss prevention she didn't call for help because she was "doing everyone's code 50" (employee bag check), which he wasn't there to do. I do like the store itself, so I will be back. But the workers have to do better! These events took place today, 3/3/20 at 5:34 pm read more

This low discount clothing stores is one of the MOST unfriendly place ever. Never smile. I asked the check out person "your not going to fold the clothes?" She said NOPE as she shoved my stuff into a bag. The fitting section same attitude. I guess low pay NO smile. They all said Welcome to DDs when you walk in but NO expression on their sour faces read more

This DDs location gets a D+ Must've come on a good day, store was clean, cold AC flowing, informative a d helpful staff and now the bad part, Strict bathroom policy for moms and children, I understand no staff wants to clean a bathroom, that's all I was getting from the excuses as I held my pee to shop. The intercom is constant WOOHOO after a donation is made which really just slows down the line! The dressing rooms only have one wheelchair room well the majority of shoppers have strollers and three kids .. Bigger dressing rooms are a MUST in these kinds of stores. Just pee at food 4 less before shopping, I would come back because it was clean and organized and the staff was nice to me thanks. read more

This place is great for when you are looking for inexpensive toys. They have a quite a selection. They also have some pretty good purses and clothing. The shoe area is a mess. The sizes are all over the place but other than that, the store is A-Okay. read more

I wanna rate this location as an F. Although my cashier was extremely nice. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the new return policy. She had me wait 20 minutes before she came to the front. I could tell she didn't wanna deal with me so she said she would try to help me but instead she laughed in my face and said she could not override the system. Mind you I didn't yell at her or make a big deal. So instead of resolving the problem she gave me the corporate number and brushed me off. I thought it was very unprofessional that she laughed and lied to me. Her name is Gabriella and I would advise her to treat people the way you want to be treated. Because I felt I was very professional I Didn't make a scene or overreact or embarrass her just asked simple questions that she didn't want to deal with. read more

I understand that people are a bit frustrated with the whole covid situation but for those that still have a job like RICHARD the cashier , be thankful!! He has no customer service skills whatsoever! Seemed to be annoyed by everything and everyone. Yells "next paying customer!" All upset . He needs a better attitude. read more

This location seems to he like any other DD's. I got a great tip on getting cheap scrubs here. Definitely, they got it down for the cheap prices for work clothes that I need. But for this location, nothing that stands out all that too bad. Except the fact that there was a family changing their kid in the changing room. The smell of poop isn't great when you're in the middle of trying on clothes. read more

The gentleman cashier I believe his name is Richard is the rudest man I have ever met in retail! He has no personality and judges you. He checked all my clearance tags like I did something and guess what I didn't! He doesn't say thank you or nothing. You guys should really read these yelp reviews and let this guy go! read more

One star due to the restroom policy. It is obvious that a lot of moms shop with their kids there, and is sad that the restroom is denied for a child. The store management or corporate itself should have some consideration towards their costumers. At the end of the day, costumers is what makes the store running. read more

Most ridiculous store EVER. Stores like this think they can treat customers like shit because they have cheap prices. I walk in today and get told my daughter can't have her water bottle in the cart. I had to leave it at the door. The line is always SO long and takes forever. It's gross in here and I'll take my business elsewhere read more

Rude cashiers have no sense at all the loss prevention employees have to apologize for them if you don't speak up they will have you waiting in the separate return line while they skip you for customers that showed up AFTER YOU to pay for their merchandise that's ridiculous after 2 people skipping in front of me I finally said something terrible experience will never come back, very rude cashiers read more

Seriously all the employees are insanely rude. I didnt have my reciept to return an item the man which i believe to be one of the managers or supervisors helping me was unbelievably rude. He was was vocally aggressive and cut me off when i asked why i couldnt have my cash back and insisted on only being able to give me store credit. All the other employees stood around and watched the whole thing like it was a show. Seriously embarrassing what makes him think i want to shop at this location with store credit after how rude he was. read more

Horrible location. I was rung up by a guy with glasses this morning. He calls the next customer when your transaction is still processing. Don't like this at all. It's rude. I felt rushed to grab my receipt and shove my things back into my purse. He didn't even hand me my bag. Had to reach over the counter to grab it and then just sloppily hands me my receipt. Also they have a Girl Scouts table as you walk in and the security is just talking and talking away to the girls there. I never give dds a chance and now I know why I never have. Won't be back here .. read more

Rude employees...especially the cashiers. Yes, retail is hard work I know first hand. They don't smile they just look pissed off at the world. They don't greet you as you pay, they don't even say thank you. Barely inserting my credit card before "Jenny" is yelling out "next customer!" DD's corporate office needs to train them on customer service. I will not be returning to this location! read more

This store is one of a kind. I walked in & was half heartedly greeted by their Security guy who made me feel something I haven't felt in a very long time. In my opinion, his presence made me want to take to advantage of the store, rather than deterring me from being a thief. As I was shopping in the toddlers section looking at 3-6 items in the boys 4T section, I was becoming frustrated by the lack of support from the staff or lack of in the store. The 2 employees I did have contact with were the good thing I experienced at that time. The young lady in the Fitting Room was doing her best to help, but informed me that it was her first day. She gets a pass. The 2nd employee may have saved the day for this pathetic excuse for a retail establishment. Leslie, greeted me with a smile & actually made eye contact, very rare these days. She asked the standard questions & after hearing my request for help. She tells me that she will be bring out more kids clothes in the next 10-20 mins. I can live with that. However, within 5 mins of telling me this, she rolls out a rack of kids clothes & tell me here you go, you get first shot at them.... WOW!!! Another rarity!! Unfortunately there were no boys 4T merchandise for me to review. Oh well we tried. As I continued to shop or shall I say walk around & contemplate the thoughts of taking advantage of the store. I began to scan the store for the little security guy, who was nowhere to be found. The manager was doing stuff up front & had no concerns about me & my behavior in the store. At one point the manager guy even walked by me without acknowledging me. This just elevated my thought path of being a thief... you'll be happy to know that DID NOT take advantage of the store. Maybe it's just me, but as a former employee of DD's & Ross Stores I have a certain level of expectations from the associates representing their store. The Manager was not compliant in greeting me or even being concerned for my behavior. The SPS (Store Protection Specialist)... hahaha sorry! He was more concerned with organizing the front end & the his Male Manager friend allowed it to happen. So DD's corporate if you care about your store & its associates, you need to check out this store. P.S. As I sit outside the store, the SPS is nowhere near the front door. So much for a Command Presence! #ddsdiscount #rossstores #nocommandpresence read more

Horrible place I understand every store has restroom policy but give the kids an opportunity their kids my son was literally about to pee on himself I told the employee he can go alone can he please go in he has no merchandise she still said no!! I went on a thursday there was only 1 person working and a long line. I couldnt wait so I left. The next day I go back and my 3 year old has to use the restroom. Weve used the restroom before but this time the lady would not let us. Thats really dissapointing they dont have public restrooms. Either this lady was lying or we were lucky enough to have a nice lady let my daughter use the bathroom. I was so mad I gave her my items and told I wouldnt purchase anything I had to go home so my daughter can use the bathroom. Ill call the main office and file a complaint. Im utterly infuriated by the manager Darlene! I purchased a top on 2/27/14 and noticed when I got home that there was a lower button missing! I went back 2 1/2 weeks later to return the top and the Darlene refused..I had my receipt and tags for the top and still she refused the return. Worst experience ever.. Not kid friendly staff they were really rude. This store is horrible I will never go there again!! One employee that was putting things on a shelf and dropped it on my foot she didn't say are you ok ? I'm sorry no oooo instead she tells me that I saw her there working and I shouldn't have been in her way WHAT?! Her name was Ryan and she was the rudest person !!! And then has the nerve to say go ahead and tell my manager oh I'm scared so I guess they don't care that they lost a good customer who had two baskets full of items . DD's has great deals at times and the store I like ,But this particular has horrible customer service. Their lines are always super long and they only have 1-2 cashiers, even on weekends. I went in today and the "manager on duty" Theresa didn't even greet me ,rang up my purchases , and the only thing said was "ATM or credit". Whatever happened to friendly customer service? She called for the next customer while I was barely punching in my pin and when I asked for my receipt she said "it's right here it's slow" not even a thank you or have a nice day. I sarcastically said "umm thank u" and she said uhh hu. .... really? And your a manager? I've worked retail and understand it's frustrating 90% of the time... but whatever happened to smile with a service? They get one star and it's only for their Merchandise . read more

I walked into the store hoping to get a birthday present for a toddler with my girlfriend and walking in right away I noticed the security guard, Tony, had his back to incoming and outgoing traffic because he was too busy conversing with a cashier. I used to like coming to this store, but now I'm definitely not going back. read more

Went in today for an exchange, lined up in the exchange/return line after I was done doing some more shopping... I was asked by a cashier standing in the register if I had a return, I said I have an exchange because I was going to purchase more items. She then told me "you have to do the return 1st and then get back in the regular line and make your purchase." I am sorry but why should I have to get in line twice? I ended up getting out of the exchange/return line and lined up in the regular purchase line thinking well maybe she can process my purchase 1st then my return. Natalie then sends the SPS to tell me she wasn't going to be able to do my exchange in the regular line either! The whole time I stood in line she (Natalie) stared at me rudely, seemed bothered... as if swasn't happy to be there and obviously was not properly trained for her position because not once did she come and apologize or aproach me to explain any misunderstanding. I forcefully had to line up in one line and then the other. When I proceeded to do my exchange the cashier explained that it was because of the protocol and covid-19 and so on... I understand it is for everyone's safety but what I don't understand is why she couldn't process my purchase 1st and then my return all while I stood in either line if the big deal was covid-19 and wiping everything down, then why not allow me to make my purchase then my return and wipe everything down all at the end instead of having me go in both lines, which is more logic. For future reference maybe DD's should have a sign which states "RETURN LINE ONLY, NO EXCHANGES!" And customer's can decide if they want to wait in the RETURN ONLY line and then line up AGAIN in the regular purchase line and hope the line isn't rediculously long, or they want to take their money else where. read more

Terrible customer service. I was waiting in line to pay and was happy to see that there was only one customer in front of me (a couple) and they were already being helped by cashier #1 ( didn't catch her name she was short and slim). So I waited in line, and waited and waited with no acknowledgement. The cashier and the couple were chatting away excessively like friends. Then another employee (Destine) came to the front being also chatty about no one better go into the home section because its spotless now. Cashier #1 told Destine to help us. So she went about chatting and laughing with them taking her time to get to the register and then logged in. By this time I was fuming at the terrible customer service. So she finally called us and I walked up and said finally you guys were too busy talking. She looked at me and rolled her eyes and got very serious mad face. Really! No apology no smile. Nothing! She then started charging my items and started talking to the others AGAIN! The couple was still there talking even though they were done. Destine was slowly removing the sensors and charging us as she went on to carry a full conversation about how everyone came in on their day off. Ahhh The couple were also employees who were visiting. And Destine kept looking over at me and then half turning to talk the Cashier #1 and the two other employees who were visiting. When she was done she simply said take your receipt and bent down to do something below the register. Really! No one else was there. Super rude!!!! It's a petty that rude employees make this company loose customers. I email DDs office, hope I hear back and show upper management has better customer service. 6/23/2016 Never heard back from upper management. I guess employees follow their terrible customer service by example. read more

I like dd's mostly because they have a pretty good plus size selection and their prices are reasonable, granted you will get what you pay for as far as quality of the product goes but the clothes are really cute. I like to buy mostly tops and leggings here. This particular location doesn't have the best customer service and sadly I'm not surprised. The girl at the fitting rooms was nice enough but the girl that checked me out acted like she mostly just wanted to get back to her closing procedures rather than check me out. She asked me to go grab a product that didn't have a tag. In my customer service experience I would've never done that unless the customer offered. After she rang me up and the receipt was coming out of the printer she just walked away and said "there's your receipt" and I had to pull it out of the printer myself. All in all I go here for the prices and selection, but a bad customer service experience is definitely always off-putting. read more
