Where do I begin. On Saturday I went to the location to return two candles I had bought but when I…read morearrived the location was closed. So I came back today after visiting one of my locations that I manage in the mall. When I got to the location I was not greeted by anyone, I had actually walked up to two workers. I had let them know that I wanted to exchange my two candles I had, as my sister in law advised me on their exchange policy, however I did not have my receipt of purchase. The only reason I wanted to exhange was because after 45min of burning them they didn't smell like anything. Which I have never had this problem before but for $30.00 a candle I expect to smell something. They said it was fine but I might have to pay the price difference if I got a more expensive candle and I said it was fine as long as they accepted apple pay because I didn't have my wallet. I guess they couldn't put two and two together - didn't have receipt & wallet? Why would they ..I guess I am asking two much from someone who gets paid minimum wage. I stroll the store find a couple additional items to purchase, find the candles I want to exchange and a fragrance I want to purchase with coupon I have from their loyalty program. Waited in the long line got to the point of scanning my Apple Pay to be asked for my ID for the exchange. I told the girl I don't have my wallet that's why I am paying with Apple Pay. She responded with I need your ID to complete the exchange. We'll ladies that would have been great to know the second I entered your location! In the future you should explain your exchange policy when someone asks about it. Complete waist of my time, I was so frustrated I walked off and realized I left my brochure of loyalty coupons. The associates didn't even bother to stop me and give it back. My husband then called the location and asked if he could get our coupons back that were left or somehow add to our profile and they told him it was his problem and he would have to call customer service. Thats a great way to treat your customer ladies, great job!

I came here yesterday to pick up an order that I made online. I had not actually been in this…read morephysical store before and I was pleasantly surprised . It is a small store but everything was super neat and well organized . The store was clean and bright and they managed to get a lot into such a small space . They had some gorgeous outfits on the mannequins and I did look around for a few minutes before heading up to the register to grab my order. While the cashier went into the back to locate it, I started browsing the clearance shelves . When she brought out my order she told me that because I picked up items today I could get an extra 10% off the already 50% off clearance items. That was an awesome bonus. As much as I love the store and the service, I loved the clothes even more. I bought a dress, blouse and a new bra online during their Labor Day sale and when I got them home everything fit like a glove. The quality of the clothing is fantastic. Unfortunately I can only afford to shop here when they are having a major sale and even the few items I was interested the in on the clearance racks were still out of my budget. If you're a plus size girly and money is no object, you should head over immediately. You must love the fit , quality and service. I, however, will have to stick to just shopping here a few times a year during the big sales, but I definitely look forward to it.

I love this store…read more Always tidy , well lit and inviting, and there's coffee too! We love the laid back vibe that the staff gives and they are quite knowledgeable too. You'll notice how eager they are to help you obtain the book that you're looking for, whether they have it in stock or not, they will hunt it down and get it for you. I love coming here, grabbing a latte and then just browsing and discovering new things.

The shop, like all Chicos was beautifully designed, and had all the inventory gorgeously displayed. The styles range from classic timeless, resort wear, casual, flashy bedazzled sequins, to night on the town. Chicos is revamping their clothing lines and marketing to target a more diverse age bracket of fashionistas. I could tell with the current summer inventory. The shop is smaller than most other Chicos I have shopped at. But they have a section of Soma lingerie. The lingerie is beautiful, feminine, and quality made. That brand is part of the same company that owns Chicos. Not all Chicos sell Soma in their shop. So that is a bit of a bonus for shopping in the Stockton Chicos.

However, this visit I was met by a cold and disconcerting African American employee. As a shopper who spends $300-$400 per visit my patronage is generally a welcomed retail event. Being more interested in my retail experience, I completed my shopping and upon checking out I engaged this employee and asked if she was new at this store. Her shocking response was "...I an the manager and I have been here over 10 years!" Then she just walked away! Wow! No further conversation to recognize that she was continuing to be rude after never acknowledging my store presence or the large purchase I was making. Had the other sales personnel not been so nice and deserved this sale, I would have walked out and purchased nothing. So glad to not have encountered this manager on my other trips. I returned a week later with my sister another girlfriend, who I introduced to Chico's. This manager was off and it was the usual welcoming and friendly shopping environment. My physician sister inquired about the treatment I'd received and we were given all the information for this manger and full apologizes. However, no defense provided for her which means she must treat them the same! Another rating will follow for the 5 Star followup visit when this manager was not present.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Hot Topic fashion and accessories, and the quality is really great.
