We always enjoy shopping at different Costco's. They all have different stuff I guess since each…read morearea is made up of different kinds of people or lifestyles. It's so weird coming here. It wasn't really late in the evening . It was before 7PM but this place is nothing like the one in Elk Grove. We are always busy and this one was slow and very quite. Not that many customers at all. It was nice to slowly walk around with no rush or noise . The one thing at not being that busy of a store. The produce seemed older and not as fresh. When you buy in bulk and stuff doesn't sell quick you can't order that much so you can tell the produce is less fresh. We did of course get different things at this location. Not much different. I think we get more at the store on Stockton Blvd. than this place. no biggy. We still have to try since we were here.

Costco is our go-to for just about all of our household needs - they truly have everything, and you…read morecan't beat being able to snack on samples while you shop. It's a win-win, and one of the main reasons we keep coming back. Like every Costco, this location is consistently busy, but I've found that going within the last hour before closing is usually the best time to avoid the biggest crowds. The location also has plenty of parking, which is a plus. The biggest downside to this Costco is the customer service. Some of the employees could definitely benefit from additional training, as friendliness can be hit or miss. In particular, I've had experiences with cashiers who came across as curt or outright rude, which isn't the most pleasant way to end a shopping trip. Even the receipt checkers often seem more focused on chatting with each other than moving the line along efficiently. Overall, we'll continue to shop here because Costco itself is hard to beat for value and selection but the service at this location leaves room for improvement.

I literally never shop at Walmart. I haven't stepped foot inside one for almost 20 years, but I saw…read morethe viral cupcake flower bouquets on tiktok and it forced my hand. I wanted to bring something to a casual birthday dinner on short notice so I ordered one online. Unfortunately for me, as I was doing that, I saw some deals on necessity and leisure items and decided to order six other things as well to see if it was time to change my mind about Walmart. Here is my experience: Before it was even time to pick up the bouquet, one of the items shipped and was delivered to my house. It was a little card game for the party and it was $4 cheaper than I had seen it online other places. They did not package it in a box or in any way actually, it looked like someone grabbed t off the shelf and drove it to my house. That might have been a good thing, except that it was raining hard that day and they left it on my grass. It did have some cellophane around it so it was still usable, but it was definitely not in good condition. We were not off to a good start. Then, when I went to get the bouquet just before the party, I picked up the three in store items. Their was a wait to get my things but it wasn't too long or difficult. As I was waiting, a woman told me that she always gets here groceries here because you can order online and then just pull up in your car and they wil bring it out to you. I made sure to let her know that most ethical and local grocery stores offer that option as well. My experience in the bakery was also easy with just a short wait and I will say that for the price I paid, the bouquet looked amazing. If I were rating this store on the cost of the bouquet for the way it looked they would get 5 stars no question. People at the party thought I had paid $100-$200 for it (we played guess the price) and all said it looked amazing. However, there were issues. The party person does not like chocolate so I ordered all white cupcakes but when we started eating it, I realized they had made a half and half with some white and some chocolate. I was upset at first but the white cake was SO dry that the slightly more moist chocolate actually tasted better even though it was not preferred. The frosting was super sweet and overpowering and also somehow dry at the same time. Therefore it became more of a thing to look at rather than eat because it just didn't taste good. We ended up throwing 7 of the cupcakes away at the end and I don't blame them at all. So to recap for anyone thinking of getting one: Looks and price 5/5, Flavor and quality 0/5. If you don't care a bout the taste and just need something that looks good, this is definitely a smart purchase for the price. After this experience, I look forward to the next 20 years of never shopping at Walmart again but I am glad I tried them out, especially because if I hadn't purchased the cupcake bouquet, I was going to get myself one of their heart cakes for my birthday and I would have been so disappointed had it been inedible. As for the other items I purchased, I did get a better price on them no doubt so I completely understand why people shop here but for now I will pay a few dollars extra to go to local merchants with better quality and customer service.

I never thought I'd be saying this... but I actually had a great experience at Walmart today…read more I walked in expecting chaos, and instead found a clean store, calm atmosphere, and one of the best produce selections I've seen locally. Everything looked fresh and well-stocked. The clothing section honestly surprised me the most. It was organized, cute displays, and easy to shop. Big improvement. What I loved the most, though, was seeing more cashiers again. I usually shop online, so when I do come in, it means a lot to interact with someone kind. My cashier was friendly, patient, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. Security was respectful, the store felt safe, and overall the visit was way better than I expected. I'm actually glad I gave this Walmart another chance.

I'm delighted to report the Lodi Robinson's has completely redeemed themselves in my book…read more Last time I went in and the wonderful, tall, graying lady was behind the counter, warm and welcoming as always. Today I went in for two things, and the more petite, auburn haired, middle aged women was, as always, very helpful, as was the tall graying gentleman who gave me some great advice on questions I had about agility equipment. Even the young person behind the counter was polite. It was "business as usual" with exceptional customer service and I, for one, appreciate it. I grew up on a farm out in the country and I've LOVED this store from the moment I set foot in it (it reminds me of the feed store we used when I grew up), so I was really surprised / disappointed when my customer experience was negative during *several* back-to-back visits! I'll do everything I possibly can to support a LOCAL business whenever possible, even if it means driving a little further or paying a little more. My last two transactions with Lodi Robinson's completely redeems them, and, if it stays the same, I look forward to many years of continued excellent customer service from them.

I respect store security, but it's hard to enjoy browsing when you feel watched the entire time. I'd love to see a more welcoming, relaxed environment.
