What a great guy (company)! Called Diego at DDD Seamless Rain Gutters because they have great reviews and I liked his company synopsis on Yelp! I got 3 bids, of course. Not only was Diego's the best, but he was super easy to deal with in scheduling, showed up exactly on time, actually early, was super friendly and seemed honest. He made no promises he couldn't keep, including the price, which he made even more compelling when paying cash. Diego was very easy to communicate with in person, on the phone and via text. He told me the exact process and timeline so my expectations were set correctly, I really appreciated this. He told me he was ordering the material, that it would take a couple days, then he texted me when it came in to schedule. I was unavailable the first date he recommended and he happily rescheduled for another day. Today the gutters were installed. Diego came to do them himself with one other helper. They were on-time, super friendly, easy to work with and didn't mind me asking questions and showing me how they'd look before they secured them so we could adjust the angles. To be honest, there was no adjustment necessary, what he recommended was on the money. They came out great! Better than we had expected. The color was great, the workmanship was excellent and the finished product looks awesome - look for my pics in this review. Diego even left me with a few "extensions" to take the water even farther out of the downspout and away from the foundation when it really crushes rain. Very thoughtful and detailed. I got many gutter bids, and Diego's price was the cheapest by far, so inexpensive that I was almost in disbelief. I needed gutters at my front door and back door overhang, because the paving at those doors, has a negative slope at the door, meaning when it rains, the water from the roof ponds there, as well as all the dirt and tree droppings washed down from the roof, all dirty in front of my doors for me to step in. This has been a problem for the 16 years I lived at this house, but Covid quarantine made me stay home and get bids to get many of my house issues repaired. I picked the colors to match my house paint at the time he came out to bid and it was part of the bid, so he doesn't have to come out again when I decide to use his company. But when the gutter job got installed, I was not at all happy that you can see from my photo, that the ugly shiny copper downspout does not match the house paint, when we I picked the matching color at the time of the bid. But the gutter above the downspout DOES match the house paint on the SAME wall ! When I asked Diego why the gutter matches, but the downspout doesn't on the same wall, when I picked the colors to match. He said he pays for the gutter by the foot, and can change colors, cos it is by the foot. But for the downspout, he pays $80 for the entire downspout length of 9 or 10 feet. And to change to another color, I have to pay another $80 for another downspout in eggshell color for that short distance that the copper does not match the wood part of the house. See photo. Diego said he can make it match, just that I gotta pay him $80 more for another downspout in different color. He suggested I can sand that part of the downspout, or the whole thing (cos I thought the shiny copper was ugly, but it was the closest match to my brick facade), and paint the metal the color of the house. Well I started sanding but it is really hard to sand that shellac and color off on corrugated metal, to sand the paint out of every grove the length of the downspout by hand. I wish that I knew before the installation that the gutter is charged by the foot and can change colors, but the downspout is $80 for each downspout piece color change you want to match your house, and only for a 10 foot length . I even had an old downspout I wasn't using, that was same color as the brick coulda used, and easier to paint cos finish was matte, but by the time I realized that, Diego already installed the $80 shiny copper one that matched neither the brick or the paint on the wood, and he said he can't return it. I wish Diego explained that he pays by the foot for the gutter, so color change is no issue, but not so on the downspout Still.... even paying $80 for the ugly downspout, or if I had to pay another $80 to match my house, or I have to sand and paint myself, Diego's price is still worth the 5 stars, over hiring another contractor. I might add that I did have to wait over 30 days from the time I told him I wanted him to do the job, to the date me could come and install it. No big deal when I procrastinated 16 years to get this job done, Diego got it done for me. read more

Diego, the owner, is wonderful. His guys showed up as promised which may not sound like a big deal but REALLY is! They did an entire "wrap" (6" gutters) around my house and 4 down spouts. I do not believe it could even be possible that the company that bid 2x higher would have done 2x the quality! It took the 2 guys about 2 hours. I found out about DDD gutter from a mailer I was sent about the company and their services. We had recently moved into a new home in the North Peoria area. I reached out and got in touch with Diego. He came to checkout the property and was even able to match the existing color of gutter and downspouts that the builder had put in in a small front area. The job was done even earlier than planned because it just so happened my landscapers finished their project early and Diego's team was flexible enough to move up my install - talk about service! The only concern I had involved the cleanup after the job was completed. The roll and fabricate the gutters at the homesite. There are metal shavings inherent in the process but they didn't adequately clean the shavings up when finished. A magnet would work well for this process. read more
