What really sold me, was that Mike took the time to walk my property with me and listen to what I was trying to accomplish. I was really happy with the entire process of working with this company. I wanted gutters installed on my home, but I had some facia that was rotted and needed to be replaced. I got an estimate from another company for gutters, but they couldn't replace the facia. Mike, from MSD Contracting provided me with a fair estimate for the gutters and the replacement of my rotted facia. He provided me with a written estimate for the work and arrived on-time to do the work. I received a color chart to choose the colors of my gutters and downspouts in advance of performing the work. This company no-showed me twice. First time I had a confirmed date and time. The window they were supposed to be at my home was 8:30am to 10:00am. I sat around and they never showed. I called afterward and was told "He came a little early, at 8:00am." That wasn't true. He rang my bell at 7:25am, a full hour early. I had no idea because he didn't leave a voicemail message, email me or text me and I literally had no idea he showed up and then left a full hour early. Disappointed, I asked Tina the office lady if they'd put me back on the calendar quickly, but all she had next was for July 28th - two weeks later. I begged for them to come out earlier and she said it was the only date they'd be in my area again. Well, here we are on the 28th and they aren't here again and I received no call or contact today or in the days leading up to today. I waited 4 weeks on them (for the first appt and then again for the second appt) and they bailed on me twice. My AC area floods every time it rains and it's a REAL issue, not something cosmetic or that can/should wait. That knowledge had no impact on them, even after begging. So, I had to buy a cheap temporary extension at Home Depot and get onto the calendar for Cactus Seamless Gutters, who promised me they NEVER cancel on their customers. Cactus is $100 cheaper than MSD as well, so I guess that's a silver lining. A simple apology would've been nice the first day they screwed up, without leaving a voicemail message or texting me. But, MSD was never able to conjure up even a simple "I'm sorry, we made a mistake." Instead, they fabricated an arrival time of 8am to try and shift the blame on the customer when they showed up a full hour early and left without leaving any kind of voicemail or text message. Part of me wonders if the personnel are on the spectrum if they avoid direct verbal contact with the customer like that after coming a whole hour early. Not acknowledging the mistake was theirs and thinking that's a good way to do business also points to some sort of dysfunction. read more

While their schedule may be fully booked out a month, they are worth it. There is a reason they are so busy! Not only were the prices competitive, but they came and got the whole back of the house done in two hours. I would suggest getting all your estimates and bids out of the way first and calling MSD last so you can sign on the dotted line and schedule when they come. Make sure if you are painting your house that you check with them weeks in advance for color changes, so you don't have to be penalized with a restocking fee or have to paint the gutter yourself when done. They have this on their estimate paperwork too, so pay attention to the fine print. Communication was good, and the whole team was courteous and efficient. Everything went smoothly, and not only do I recommend them for your home, but we will use them again for our guest house when the time comes! read more

I requested an estimate on a holiday weekend. 6 days later the team came out and gave me an estimate. 5 days later my gutters were installed. Installation took around 2.5 hours. I expected the gutters would look good, though these were really more of a functionality requirement for my home. That said, I am stunned by how fantastic they look. Seams are minimal, lines are crisp and clean, work looks incredibly solid, and they matched the colors and aesthetic of my home to the absolute T. During my search for an installer I received 3 different quotes. MSD'S price was similar to one other quote, however, MSD's product looks better. In addition, they were notably less expensive than the 1st estimate I received. Overall, I am exceedingly pleased with both the install and price.
