What's more concerning is what happened next. I've spent weeks trying to get this resolved. I've been in contact with their employee (Elizabeth), who acknowledged the issue and repeatedly said it would be taken care of. Despite those assurances, there has been zero follow-through. Communication has been inconsistent at best, and more recently I've been completely ignored. At this point, the issue is no longer just the damage; it's the lack of accountability. Mistakes happen. Ignoring a customer after causing property damage is a much bigger problem. When we called The Construction Guyz, Jay actually came to the house discussed what we wanted to do and said he would send us a quote and that it was a good time as he was between jobs. He sent a very reasonable quote the next day, a Thursday and started the job the following Monday. The materials were delivered Monday morning and we met Jay's crew Geraldo and Trini who went right to work. These guys are master masons, Geraldo leveled each block and measured the spacing. The half blocks were all sawn not broken with a hammer. Geraldo said he worked with Jay for 17 years and I can see why. They are proud of their work and go about it without music blaring, offensive language or griping and left my yard neat and clean every day. The wall came out far exceeding our expectations and we want to thank Jay and his crew being a pleasure to work with.
