Anton was an incredible tour guide. He was a great storyteller, and quite humorous as well. We enjoyed how accommodating he was to our large group. Throughout the entirety of the tour, Anton displayed a remarkable amount of professionalism, patience, and kindness. Would do this tour again just for him!

Our tour guide Stewart was great!! He was very knowledgeable and you could tell he really enjoyed the stories he was telling the group. Being able to learn about some spooky tales while also getting to know more of the unknown history of DC was a great experience. My wife and I decided to take one star off due to a couple issues that had nothing to do with Stewart: 1.) The ticket says to be at the departure site at 7:45pm and look for your guide that has a lantern. However, we arrived about 7:40pm with no tour guide to be seen, Stewart was a few minutes late due to a Metro issue and he unfortunately did not carry a lantern. (Tardiness was not his fault) 2.) We purchased the ghost "plushie" as a souvenir but what we received was quite disappointing (photo attached), definitely not worth it. When you think of "plushie" you think of a stuffed animal sized object, this was not it at all. So, if you're looking for a neat walking tour at night, DC Ghosts is absolutely a good go to, and if you're lucky enough to get Stewart as your guide, make sure to ask lots of questions.

We are local to the area and love history, spooky stories and corny jokes so for us this is a fun date :-). The tour began at the Old Stone House where we were checked in and divided into two groups of about 18 people each. Everyone in our group was from out of town except us and our amazing tour guide Sonia. She effortlessly led us from site to site while allowing time for questions and photos. She also made sure our group stayed together and safely crossed the streets. I was concerned that it would be hard to hear given the traffic and Saturday night usual cacophony that is Georgetown but that generally wasn't a problem. We didn't see any ghosts - DRAT! But we did have fun and learn some history along the way. We would recommend this tour company and this particular tour.

We were fortunate to have company co-owner Bo as our guide, He took us on an enthusiastic, informative, efficient four-hour tour of the highlights of the American History, Natural History, and Air & Space museum along with a stop at the Smithsonian Sculpture Garden. Bo's personable nature, passionate knowledge of all things Smithsonian plus Washington DC overall made the experience truly exceptional. The customer service provided by DC Insider Tours during my rescheduling throughout the pandemic was also incredible . We also appreciated the detailed day-of-your instructions, including a texted photo of the tour guide we were looking for. I highly recommend DC Insider Tours for any tour in the Washington DC area, you will NOT be disappointed!

Since I live in northern Virginia, I have been able to take many tours of Arlington Cemetery by many companies, but this tour was completely unique. Brenda, our tour guide, did an amazing job of explaining the deep connection of Arlington Cemetery to World War I, the birth of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, why the Tomb is guarded, 24-7, General Robert Pershing, and it was all fantastic, but she also showed us the Gravesite of James Reese Europe, the African American pre-Jazz great who fought for and was injured with the Fighting 369th, nicknamed the Harlem Hellcats. Possible the most amazing story was that of fellow Fighting 369th member Henry Johnson who single handedly took on 20 German Fighters and won, saving the life of his partner who had been injured. I highly recommend this tour, even if you have already gone on tours of Arlington Cemetery. It will show you a side of our military history that most tours miss!
