We took the night tour with Ramon in May. It was a terrific tour - starting just before sunset so we could see different phases of the evening sky against the sites and into the night time with the memorials lit up. Ramon was so amazing - deftly weaving thru the traffic while elaborating about the history of the city and sights. He was funny and informative. Ramon was happy to share recommendations of places to eat, etc. He stopped at multiple locations for us to get out and look around. We loved being in a small van with a limited tour group and happy to not be in the huge tour buses putting out lots of pollution and often stuck in traffic. We visited all the National Mall and all monuments, Arlington Cemetery, Einstein, MlK, Iwa Jima at a leisurely pace. What a great experience and guide. We booked this tour last minute as our previous tour ompany canceled at the last minute. I was so happy we did because we loved the experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and ensured we all were comfortable. We felt safe with his driving and laughed at his jokes. The experience felt intimate as there were 9 people in total, which was a breath of fresh air. I love the small group because it allowed for a more personal experience that was customized due to the groups wants and suggestions. We were given a great deal of time at each landmark that helped us gather photos and read about the history without feeling rushed. The van was comfortable and clean as well. We went on the night tour of the Monuments and it was probably one of the best tours we've been on. The tour guide was truly engaged and very,very knowledgeable. The tour was scheduled for 3 hours and then he asked if the group wanted more and we went for over 4 hours. At the end of the tour he returned all of us to our hotels since it was almost 11:30 pm. Dean was wonderful. Picked us up from the scheduled location and we ended up being the only couple that day so it felt like a private tour. Got to see all the major landmarks with ample time to take pictures. Dean knew a lot of history and shared that with us along the way. He was very courteous, respectful and accommodating. The small van was air conditioned and he provided us with cold water throughout which was very much appreciated in the hot weather. He was nice enough to drop us off at another location so we could continue our adventures for the day. He was hilarious, knowledgeable, nice, and kind. Our group of 7 plus 4 others were on this tour. We ranged in age from young to old. He was patient and made the tour comfortable for all. He made sure to get us close for my bfs dad who uses a cane. He was accommodating and we even went over our time a little bit. He played photographer for us when needed also. I can't say enough good things about See DC Today and the owner, Dean. We booked Dean for a day tour, evening tour and airport transports for my son's high school graduation trip. Dean was professional, knowledgeable, informative and fun -- even stopping at a red light, he'd tell us what we were seeing nearby so not a minute was wasted!
