We thought we would be able to see all the monuments in a day. Silly me. I was told the busses would come by every 10-12 minutes. First stop. 25 minutes. To start you don't only get a driver but you get a most knowledgeable tour guide along with someone who knows where to take the best photos of you and your group. We did not expect that service. We did book him for 4 hours and if you have time and his schedule is open I would recommend doing 6 or 8 hours with him. The car was extremely comfortable and especially easy to get in and out of. He had great knowledge of the area and the historic sites we visited. This is truly one of the nicest people who enjoys his job of tour guide/photographer. He brought cold water bottles. I had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with Ehsan and Asif for 2 days. They combined transportation while I was in D.C. with a tour that was perfect for this solo traveler. I was able to take in all of the amazing historic sites, have personal transportation to my work location, and also help navigating the shopping areas. We had a 4 hour tour at 10:00 am for 4 people June 13. From the very start our drivers actions proved we had made the right decision to take this tour... The A C was good and cold. Why you say take a tour instead of drive yourself to all the sites to see in DC. The tour took us to the Iowl Jima Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial that was across the lake from the MLK Memorial. What was great about these stops was you can't drive to these places find parking and enjoy your time looking at history. The tour driver will take you anywhere you want to go. Drop you off you take a 30 - 40 walk to see whatever you came to see the driver waits with the new clean great air-conditioned Suburban. The driver made use of a iPad to show the 4 of us interesting things about some of the stops we made while we sat in the Suburban. Arlington Cemetery is were we had the driver pick us up. It has a great parking lot. $12 to park all day. At the end of the tour you come back to Arlington see Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and visit over 600 acres of history. Visit Audie Murphy, J F K, Glen Miller, Joe Louis, Thurgood Marshall. R B G and I'm not going to name the other 300,000 They have about 30 funerals everyday. So drive your car to a good meeting place take the 4 hour tour and the next day take a Metro train to the 4 different Metro stops near all the museums. The train was clean & safe. We did not travel at night but we never felt uncomfortable on the Metro train during the day. If you want to go to DC and act a fool & storm the Capitol bring a toothbrush because you will be their a long time. read more

What an amazing way to see, enjoy and learn historical facts of DC. We only had a short time in DC as we can to town for a wedding and so not much time to do sight seeing and wow did we hit the jackpot with booking this company and even luckier that our tour guide was the owner Gondal. From the pristine luxury SUV, to the dual monitors for his info slide show as you approach each landmark to just the most enjoyable conversation. The topping of the tour was he so generous to take pictures on his new iPhone with an extra light on a tripod which captured some of the BEST PICTURES and with our whole family in them!!!! This was by far the highlight of our week in Washington D.C. Ehsan, our driver, was so professional and had fact after fact for a car full of history buffs. The car was a three-row suburban. There were 4 of us, one a 15 year old. We were taken to areas of DC that we had never been before like the Kalorama neighborhood where the Obama home is as well as former homes of Jared and Ivanka Trump, Woodrow Wilson & Taft. We drove through Embassy Row. The Ukrainian Embassy was a highlight where citizens have placed flowers along the front of the building and then we further went to the Pentagon Memorial from 9/11 which was so moving. There was a fantastic exchange of information between the driver and ourselves but his detailed description and knowledge of history was outstanding. The cost was not much more than a large group tour would be considering it was four hours. We tipped well as he was deserving. We highly recommend. read more

We booked a tour for our group which spanned 3 generations. The focus was an 8th grade US History type trip for our 14 year old. Bruce was our tour guide, and he was fantastic. We had communicated with Private Tours prior to our tour to let them know what our son was most interested in, and that we wanted to cater the tour to the kiddo's interests. Bruce didn't miss a beat, immediately inviting our son to ride up front with him. Bruce had lots of information, and was patient with all of the questions my son had. We got to see absolutely everything that was on our "wish list". We pretty much had 4 hours in DC before moving on to our next destination and none of us had ever been there. With museums still shut down from the pandemic, I thought, "how can we see everything we need to see historically that is outdoors before we leave in the morning...and make it entertaining for 2 teenage boys"? Used this service during my recent trip to DC. The service provided was excellent and it beat the hell out having to wait for a bus to move from site to the next. Our driver was always a short text message away. He offered us soda and water which was heaven sent due to the heat and humidity of Washington DC during the month of August.
