And everything after that was great--good communication, reliable scheduling, adaptability in the face of an unforeseen problem, and good work. We're very glad we chose them.

I contacted Nature's Friends to sort out my issues and Cliff was over at my house in no time. He talked through any prior water retention issues I had, and came up with a plan to future proof our house from any flooding that could happen with big storms. The crew were back out within a few days and executed the plan as Cliff specified. The laborers placed one of the pop-ups a little too close to the house, and without any intervention, the day-of-supervisor spoke with me to let me know they would extend it according to plan, and corrected everything. They also replaced my sump pump, which was not the easiest thing due to a seized grate closure (see pics), and at a fraction of the price quoted by plumbers. I was really impressed with how quick everything was completed, and for a job like this (digging long trenches to run PVC), my yard looks nearly immaculate. They gave me instructions to heal the grass patches so my lawn would look as it did before in no time. After the work was done, Cliff reached out to make sure all was working well when it rained. I highly recommend reaching out to Nature's Friend for any of your needs -- you can tell they really care about their customers, and I will be reaching out to them for any future landscaping needs.

They completely misled us on the scope of work for the back and planted the front in late fall, just as the weather turned cold. And the cost was astronomical! The winter storm that struck the Washington DC metro region (and beyond) in late January left me…read moreiced in my home for eight (8) days. When the snow began to fall, I quickly shoveled off my porch, walkway & driveway. My plan was to pace myself & repeat the process a few hours later but unfortunately, my plan didn't work as I fell asleep! When I woke up to return to shoveling, I heard ice coming down. Upon going outside, the ice was already stuck-frozen solid-and kept coming down so I figured, "Oh well." That "Oh well" quickly turned into a frigid "Oh hell" the following day. Even with the sun shining, the ice was stubborn & my house being situated on the shady side of the street also didn't help. Days went by & I dealt with it because I was warm & toasty inside & had plenty of junk food to keep me distracted. But then I realized that it was time to get my car warmed up & on the road so that the engine oil didn't thicken too much; that's when the frustration AKA panic set in. I couldn't find anyone to remove the ice! Sure, I neglected to buy de-icer at the hardware store a couple weeks before the storm, but I never NEEDED it in the past & I don't think anyone was truly prepared for Ice-mageddon. So I started Googling snow removal companies & that's when I found Benitez Landscaping Pro Services. I was apprehensive about contacting the company as there weren't many reviews to check out & those that were available focused on lawn care. But then I saw a couple 5-star reviews praising them for their snow removal services during the same winter storm & that's when I knew I had to hire them. I sent photos of what needed to be cleared, received a reasonable quote (hefty but reasonable for what was performed) & they were at my residence in no time! I complemented the lady I spoke with via telephone when the gentlemen were wrapping up the job at my home, telling her that it was such a relief that they delivered the services I desperately requested in such a timely fashion. She was very understanding & I can't recommend Benitez Landscaping Pro Services enough!
