Hired them for aeration and overseeding after having a bad experience with another company. After the winter has come and we can see what seeds have grown, turns out that my beautiful yard is now full of orchard grass. They weren't aware that the seeds that they were giving don't list specific weeds that aren't noctious. Neighbor and I have a yard full of weeds we didnt hvae prior to hiring them. They offered to send someone to help pull them but then never did. They then send another person out who was supposed to get us an estimate for starting over, and he never sent the estimate. We've been using Rimble since 2018 for bi-weekly lawn mowing, and yearly yard services/landscaping. LOVE them! Caitlin is a dream to work with - she replies to emails very promptly and is great at getting Randy out to us if we need to speak with him about plans for our yard. I love that I've pretty much conducted all our business online with them (even pre-Covid). Everything is answered through email; the automatic payments are easy to set up and maintain. Checks are required for larger projects, but they let you mail them in. The only thing I wouldn't recommend them for is taller tree pruning. Get a tree service for that. Outside of normal landscaping/weeding, they have successfully planted trees, replaced mulch beds with stones, and installed trash can pads. We've used Rimble for several years for regular lawn service and they have always done a great job and been very responsive. We just had them re-mulch all of our flower beds and were really impressed by the crew that came out. I was expecting them to more or less just dump on the new mulch. Instead, they cleared out all of the old leaves and other stuff from the yard, edged all the beds, put down the mulch, and then cleaned the entire yard up so there was no stray mulch anywhere. I am a contractor, remodeler and home builder. I got Randy's - Rimble's number from Yelp and hired them to do a complete landscaping job on a new construction home. The job included grading, top soil, sod, mulch and plantings, 2 trees, excavation and drainage, hauling trash and debris as well as removing a tree. Their pricing was very reasonable, their scheduling, efficiency and quality of work was exceptional. I would recommend them for any landscaping job that you could think of. I was left with a clean job site, a borrowed hose to water the sod and a very reasonable up-charge for things that I added to the project. Give them a call. read more

Used Rimble again to have gutters cleaned and leaves blown. I have a TON of trees, usually spend a few hours every weekend in Nov and Dec blowing leaves. But I had a lot of family commitments this year and had fallen behind. They had guys out within a few days of making the appointment. The gutters were clean and the yard leaf-less. They even took the time to blow any leaves out my my kid's stroller and bikes in the carport. Initially the customer service was great, I emailed Randy and set up an appointment to have him come out & discuss our needs, he showed up on time on a Wednesday , however he didn't ask many questions about what we were looking for and simply stated he would have a quote to us by Friday. Friday came and went with no quote, I gave it a few more days and then emailed him the following Wednesday asking for the quote or the courtesy of letting me know he wasn't interested in the job, weeks later, the company has yet to respond. Great experience with Randy and Rimble Landscaping. I used these guys to remove a large, nasty pond I had in my backyard. It definitely wasn't a small job because it required removal of some area fences, stone waterfall, brick/mortar borders, etc. Took care of the job in a single day and followed my instructions exactly. Rimble installed a bamboo barrier for me in my backyard and did a small amount of landscaping in my front yard that turned out very well. They also worked on drainage issues on the side of my house. Excellent company, very responsive, polite, and just so easy to work with. His foreman and the crew came on time and worked very hard even though the weather was hot. Although I changed few things with the job, Daniel was accommodating and good mannered. I had a major problem with an unusable backyard in my townhouse. The upper deck blocks the sun and turns any grass into a mud pit. Rimble came out to give an estimate and discuss options. We settled on river jacks in half the yard followed by a flower bed. This kept the yard maintenance free (mostly) for me and prevented a muddy mess. The workers showed up early in the morning on the scheduled day and were finished by early afternoon. They did a great job at a reasonable price. It shouldn't be overlooked that their communication is excellent. Prompt e-mails and quick availability by phone with courteous and clear communication seems to be the norm at Rimble. You can also pay your balances online with credit cards which is awesome (this really puts into perspective the fact that I had to just mail a check to another MAJOR local contractor...).
