My sump pump discharged a significant amount of water, which created ice on the street during the winter and damaged my lawn. I also asked them to address a small uneven area around my sprinkler system. The team explained that they would regrade the area, use my existing soil, and plant grass seed, which I was completely comfortable with. They completed the entire project in just one day. At the end of the day, they sent photos of the finished work to the owner. Although I thought everything looked great, the owner wasn't satisfied with the appearance of the hay covering the newly seeded area. Even though installing sod was outside the original scope of work and would have been a much more expensive solution, he decided to go above and beyond. The very next day, he sent his crew back with fresh topsoil and sod at no additional cost. They added topsoil around my home to improve the grading and ensure water would drain away from the foundation. They even moved my stacked firewood, added topsoil underneath it, and carefully put everything back in place. When they finished, they watered all of the new sod, adjusted my sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage, and thoroughly cleaned up the work area. My yard honestly looks better now than it did before they started. Premium Drainage was not the cheapest quote I received, but they were also not the most expensive. What set them apart was their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to doing the job right. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for drainage work or landscaping improvements.

He was easy to contact and came to our home to provide a free estimate of our project. I really appreciate that he listened to our ideas but also gave his professional opinion on changes we could do. The process of scheduling to receiving the invoice to then getting the work completed was seamless. We had our driveway changed from asphalt to concrete as well as expanded. We also expanded our patio and added a concrete pathway from the front to the back of the house. Then we had a retaining wall built and had some drainage issues resolved. Lastly, we had flagstones added to the concrete. Adrian and his team not only did a wonderful job but went above and beyond to make our home look beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone looking for work done and plan to use them for future problems!

On September 14, 2024, Standard Paving installed a new asphalt driveway at my home. The job included a warranty for workmanship and materials, as well as an additional one-year warranty for an oil sealant application. Less than a year later, the driveway began showing serious structural issues: centerline separation, multiple cracks, crumbling edges, a visible hole near the garage, exposed stones, water leaking through seams, and a noticeably thin and hollow layer of asphalt--clearly less than 2 inches thick. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve the situation, including a certified letter and a formal legal demand letter requesting inspection and warranty-covered repairs. I gave a clear deadline and documented every issue. To date, there has been no response whatsoever--despite also paying for the sealant warranty that clearly failed. Also important to note: do not be quick to leave a positive Google review when asked during installation or immediately after. One of their journeymen, John, pushed me to post a review on the day of service. I was hesitant and said I'd wait--and I'm so glad I did. This is why their ratings appear high online, but in reality, they're not warranted. Buyers beware. I expected professionalism, accountability, and basic follow-through. Sadly, I've experienced none of that and am now left with costly issues and no support. Please do your research before hiring.

I hired H&H to resurface my driveway two years ago. After evaluating the project, they determined…read morethat only the top layer of asphalt needed to be removed and replaced. The work was completed, but the finished driveway now has a standing-water puddle in an area where water did not previously collect. I cannot say whether this was caused by insufficient grading, inadequate compaction, or too little material being installed, as I did not directly observe the work. What disappointed me most was the company's response after I reported the issue. I contacted H&H and requested that they inspect and correct the problem under their warranty. They declined to do so, leaving me with a drainage issue that did not exist before the project. I was also surprised to learn that their asphalt system requires an initial sealing treatment shortly after installation, followed by another sealing a few years later and continued periodic resealing thereafter. Homeowners should make sure they fully understand the long-term maintenance requirements and costs before proceeding. My recommendation is to choose a contractor that stands behind its work and honors warranty concerns when problems arise. Quality workmanship is important, but so is customer service after the check has been cashed. Based on my experience, I would not use H&H again.

The offered to fix it but only if I waived any rights to any future claims against them -- even if they didn't end up fixing it. Also, take a close look at the terms they have you sign. Under their standard agreement, if they sue you and lose, you have to pay their attorneys' fees. If you sue them and win, you still have to pay their attorneys' fees. No honest business would include such terms in their standard agreement -- huge red flag. Stay away unless you're looking for a subpar job and zero recourse.

He quoted a price which seemed reasonable that involved the demolition and rebuilding of the curb and gutter, into which he threw in some additional repairs to the mortar in an adjoining brick wall. He and his crew did an excellent job on the curb, gutter, and sidewalk rebuild. The brick mortar repairs were more slapdash. Moe definitely knows his stuff when it comes to concrete repair.
