My husband (!!!) and I are forever grateful to Evynn and Dana for the incredible wedding they threw us. Yes, I say they, because they were responsible for 90% of our stunning wedding day. They were both our planner and our florist and everything was stunning. The flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS. Evynn was my right-hand woman while planning and I couldn't have done it without her. The day of, I gave Evynn and her team a vision board with some decorations but no specific instructions, and they made it look absolutely magnificent. We also booked the all-day assistant and I cannot recommend that enough. Definitely worth it. I can't remember the sweet girl's name who helped us, but she handled all the silly tasks so my bridesmaids and I could have fun. She showed the makeup and hair artists to our suite, she got us food, refilled coffee, ran to buy us bandaids, made sure I continued drinking water (she literally appeared like every 20 minutes with water with a straw and told me to drink)....we were really able to relax and have fun because of her! And she was a really calming presence. We loved her! The team was very helpful and responsive the entire process, and even helped us get some freebies with our venue. The layouts they send you to use for seating charts, timeline etc are also super helpful and organized. People have told me it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to. I agree. And it's largely due to Evynn!!!! THANK YOU for making our dreams come true!!!! read more

Dana and Laura helped plan my Calamigos Ranch wedding and I could not be happier with the outcome! I found DB creativity through the Calamigos Ranch Instagram page. After months of trying to find a coordinator, I decided to reach out and was connected with Laura. I explained my vision and she could not have been more spot on! On the day of the wedding, I had put on my dress and realized that the the top of the bodice was still to big. I cried all the way to the venue and explained my issue to Dana. Not wasting any time, she took me to the back room and fixed my gown with 3 mini safety pins!! Following that, dancing at our reception, I busted to many moves and felt something in the back of my dress pop. Within 30 seconds, Dana was there with a clip to hold everything together so I could continue to enjoy the night! Dana and Laura are amazing and my husband and I can not thank them enough. Wow!! Where to begin with start to ABOVE AND BEYOND finish from DB Creativity!! We hired DB Creativity for our full planners and design/floral for our incredible wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu! From the very first interview, Dana, Laura, and Evynn make you feel RELAXED and comfortable and they treat you like family! They worked endless hours to answer our questions at any given moment whether they are tedious or easy (easy HA!). Our wedding was during the craziness of COVID. As much as I love our venue, some things were not spelled out like we hoped and DB Creativity was there to go to bat for us! Dana knew how to bargain and get things DONE! They set up an amazing timeline, budget system, referral list, and seating arrangement on an easy to navigate "hub". If we needed extra help with things we said we would take over, they stepped in with no questions asked. They scheduled meetings with vendors if needed be and kept a running list of contact info so I didn't have to worry about anyone day of. Not to mention all 198 guests and added vendors had to get COVID tests or the vaccine to attend our wedding, Who handled that? My amazing coordinators!!! Let's not forget how much your planners get to know you through this process, who is better yet to hire for floral and design than your planners themselves!! They knew my style and created a mood board for me so they made sure they got what I wanted. Now let's talk day of, I'm not the most relaxed person and honestly day of my bridesmaids and MIL were shocked with how much I had it together. I owe that to DB Creativity for making me feel at ease and for handling all my last minute COVID and normal bride craziness. We just finished working with Dana and DB Creativity for the second time -- this time for our younger son's Bar Mitzvah, and we had an even better experience the second time than the first, if that's even possible. Dana is the calmest, kindest, most attentive and thorough party planner I have ever worked with. She went the extra mile for my family in so many ways -- adding beautiful extra touches like super lush florals and extra special lighting and extra party favors for our event without being asked. She is also an incredible day-of support presence -- she directed the entire run of show like a pro - and made the party flow more fun at every turn -- corralling kids onto the dance floor, making sure our favorite songs were bring played and that our guests had everything they needed, including the best drinks and food. She also works with the best vendors -- we loved the DJ and photographer she recommended SO much. Most of all, she was utterly calm and collected in the face of every last-minute change we threw at her, calming our nerves and anxieties about the event and being a kind and lovely presence throughout. I cannot recommend Dana highly enough! She really is the best party planner there is. read more

We can say with certainty that hiring Dana and her team to plan our wedding was the best decision we could have made (besides getting married of course!). We hired the DB team for the full wedding planning package and for florals for our wedding at Calamigos Ranch in February. Working with Dana, Laura, and Evynn helped to make the experience relaxed, and stress/anxiety free. They are worth their weight in gold! We planned our wedding from out of state, which one can imagine may make things more hectic. Having the DB Creativity team being only an email or phone call away, along with planned video chat meetings helped everything come together better than we could have possibly imagined. To add another layer of complexity, we had also decided on outside catering for cultural reasons, and Dana helped coordinate the kitchen required as we could not use the facilities at Calamigos to prep outside food. She thought of things I didn't even know we needed for this to run smoothly! This team went above and beyond to help us create the wedding of our dreams. I also must add, that in addition to incredible skills with planning and communication, that Dana's calm personality made our wedding day run incredible smooth. She was a source of reassurance and reason not only for my husband and I, but our families as well. In fact, there were some hiccups with vendors that we weren't even aware of as she handled them professionally and without fuss. We had numerous guests raving about what an incredible experience the wedding was, and we have DB Creativity to thank for that. Our wedding is something we will never forget for all the right reasons. I cannot recommend Dana and her team enough; they are exceptional, and I would hire them in a heartbeat the next large event we plan! read more

We had a great experience with DB Creativity. I hired DB for day-of coordination/florals/market lights. It was super convenient that they offered all of these services. I worked with Laura Hazzard in particular and she was very accommodating and just knew what she was doing. She had previously worked with Calamigos Ranch (our venue) so she was familiar with the venue's rules/regulations and protocol. She also responded promptly to my emails which relieved any planning stress. In terms of the rehearsal and wedding day, Laura made the day run so smooth and kept checking in on how I was doing. I heard from family members that she also checked in with them as well. She was very helpful with the setting up and taking down of our decorations and made the process very easy. We had such a great time at our wedding thanks to Laura. Would definitely recommend DB Creativity to others. read more
