Shame on me for just leaving this review. So I came in this past Valentines on the day of needing to pick up some flowers for my lady. I live right down the street so I decided to stop by. As you can imagine they were busy but a young gentleman helped me right away. After perusing through some arrangements I opted for a 1/2 dozen red rose arrangement. They told me they could actually give me a dozen local red roses for the same price which was amazing. Everyone there was so nice and you could tell they're appreciative of your business. I don't mean that in a desperate way, I mean you can tell that this is their business and your patronage means something unlike just going to a chain store. Great community florist and I'd highly recommend you stop by if you need this type of service. read more

WOW! I called Van Nuys flowers at 8:30 AM for an urgent floral arrangement to be delivered to a funeral service at 10:30 AM. I was told by other floral companies this was impossible. I went here right before closing to get a bouquet for a neighbor who's parent deceased. The woman who helped was so kind and didn't mind I came late. She worked with my budget to make a beautiful bouquet and giving me a sympathy card as well for it. I love the flowers and colors she picked too. Absolutely beautiful flowers I received for my bridal shower entrance. As the groom walking in I had A lot of pressure. & while ordering I told her I want to walk in there and people know I got an idea of what's going on in the world through the flower presentation I bring. Elizabeth is absolutely amazing! I can't believe I didn't go here sooner. My friend used her for her wedding, so I knew her quality of work was great. I typically go to the flower district and make my own arrangements, but I was working crazy hours so this wasn't an option. I decided to purchase to make my life easier. Wowee. Easier! Understatement. I'm using Elizabeth for any event that requires flower forever! I requested a quote online and receive an email pretty immediately. I highly recommend using Veronica's as your florist. She has beautiful arrangements. She does a beautiful job. I live out of town in another state and she's able to help me out. Send flowers to my mom and help with arrangements for funerals for me they have all come out beautiful and amazing especially unset short notice but I don't recommend you calling her last minute. Her pricing are fair. Once you see her work, you will be amazed Try to do it ahead of time help her out but yes I highly recommend Veronica. Thank you for all your help Veronica. read more

I called at 10am I picked up at 3:00 same day. Over the phone Veronica placed my order I told her that my mom who the flowers were for loves purple and I just need something that was nice that had purple in it. Holy crap!!! I was so impressed with what I got! My mom was shocked about how big her flower arrangement was and I came off as a loving and caring son! My wife received a stunning flower arrangement from this florist which was one of the more beautiful arrangements I've seen in a long time. It featured amazingly colored antique roses and was artfully put together. I was so impressed that I took the time to stop by the shop to thank them. I met the owner who said she had bought the shop in 2019 and if what they made for my wife is any indication, they will do an amazing job for you and should be your go-to stop if you need a local florist. Veronica and her staff of angels stayed late to make flowers for my son and his date to the prom last night. Most of the other shops were closed, or out of flowers, but Van Nuys Flowers was ready, willing, and able to create what we wanted. The corsage and boutonniere that they made were so beautiful! So I called, whoever I spoke with told me to bring them in and that they would refresh the bouquet. Odd but that's what I did because it felt wrong to have spent that much on flowers that died the next day. He literally picked out the dead ones replaced them in the same bouquet, and proceeded to tell me that my mom's kitchen was warm. Which was not the case. I've purchased flowers at Trader Joe's, Ralph's, Vons, etc that have lasted substantially longer When I came in, I specifically said I want flowers that will not die the next day, including the fillers. I'm extremely disappointed. It's really embarrassing to give someone flowers that die the next day. I will sadly not be ordering from here anymore. And to blame, the customer is really disgusting because my mom's kitchen is not hot or warm. In fact her house is always cold. And as I mentioned, the same thing happened the last time I ordered from here. Are you going to blame my grandma as well?
