Great experience! My first time here. I just wanted to pick up a couple of flowers to cheer up my room. While it's more expensive than the grocery, you get beautiful flowers that last much longer and all the knowledge and creativity from the florist. I didn't have the budget for a full bouquet but I got a couple of single flowers and the florist dressed them up with a little green and tiny white flowers for me. They looked so pretty! They also told me about special orders for a rose I remembered from my childhood so I'd definitely like to go back in the future to order in advance for a special occasion. For YEARS, I have been working across the street and noticed this is the go-to flower shop for anyone in our building. While my husband and I agree that nothing is necessarily the same as the photo, this is NOTHING close to what is pictured. Of all occasions, EVERY flower shop knows that Valentine's Day is a HUGE celebration, and for Nancy to make a comment like this?! We all know IG vs REALITY, but this was WAY overboard. I just had to update as - once again - this gorgeous florist saves the day! How often have you found yourself realizing you have something halfway special to go to, or someone special you want to think, and realize you wish you thought of it two hours ago so that you actually could bring them something - something fresh and unique that will make an impact, but not is going to break the bank or cost you too much time or hassle?? It seems to happen to me more often these days than not just because of Covid... And without fail, the florists at this fabulous shop never deliver anything but supreme results! Last weekend a few hours before a dinner I realized I wanted to make sure to thank the host properly as well as some of their family. Called up Casa De Flores, with literally 45 minutes before I needed to be heading over, explained what I was hoping for, that it was for four different people that I would love to have a beautiful individually wrapped, and could they add water tubes so that the flowers would last both for the drive over as well as through the evening in case some of the recipients could still have fresh flowers when they got home. Arrived to Nancy just finishing up the final bouquet, and as always, it was more beautiful than I had described. Fresh Bells Of Ireland and green roses, elegantly flourished with fresh greens, wrapped in brown paper and cellophane and tied off with raffia and white ribbon. She'd even stuck in the little pitchforks so that all I had to do was write up the little cards and stick them in! Thank God there are places like this still around that are willing to expedite and turn something around quickly, and still do it with a maximum of effort and minimum of complaint. I just adore this place. Whether you have a small event, or a very large one... Need an individual single rose to brighten someone's day, or a giant arrangement delivered.... I've been coming here for a while now to get flowers for my house and was a loyal customer until last week. I bought a blue hydrangea on Monday and it was in perfect condition. The lady helping me was very sweet and even gave tips on how I could make it last over a few weeks by trimming the stem and even dipping the flowers in cold water since they can absorb water that way. I was pleased with the service. When I got home from work on Tuesday the flower was very wilted and looked as if it was dying already. I took her advice and trimmed the stem and hoped by the next day it would improve. On Wednesday the flower was pretty much fully wilted and looked awful. I called the shop to see if I could bring it back and get a different one. They said yes and said I could come the next day, but to just call first before I do. After work Thursday I called to say I would be coming in. This was around 5pm and the lady was extremely rude and said I needed to come in the morning and I waited too long. She said I couldn't bring it in now even though the day before they never specified a time to bring it in. I said ok fine, I'll come tomorrow morning and then the lady said well if it's dead tomorrow that's your fault because it's 5 days old. I told her that it died after 1 day of having it, on Tuesday, and I called Wednesday. The lady was being very difficult so I decided to just end the call. I was going to bring the flower Friday just for the principle of the matter to get my $13 back, but instead I just decided I will never go back to this shop or give them any further business. Went to Trader Joe's on Friday instead and got 3 hydrangeas for $7.00 instead of 1 for $13.00 at their shop. It's now Sunday and the Trader Joe's flowers are still beautiful and not wilted at all. Would have given the shop another chance if they were more polite, but now I will just be taking my business elsewhere. I placed my order online for a premium arrangement, immediately after I placed my order I called the store and who I spoke to was unable to give me any information about the number of flowers that would roughly be in a premium arrangement. The price difference between the standard and the premium isn't that great, but for $140 with delivery fee, this arrangement is extremely underwhelming. Not to mention the gaps, and wilting fller and damage to the flowers, I am beyond unsatisfied. Not so happy Valentine's Day to my mother. Actually quite embarrassed of this arrangement and will not even be giving it to her. **UPDATE** No refund has been issued still. After being promised it would be by Nancy. I'll admit receiving flowers isn't something that happens frequently for me, unless we count the weekly flowers I purchase for myself from Trader Joes or Whole Foods - it's usually an arrangement from my boss a couple times a year but Sunday when I arrived home to an arrangement on my porch I had a good idea these weren't from my boss ;) When someone schedules a ski trip six months in advance for Presidents Day weekend which also happens to be Valentine's Day weekend it can be a sad thing. The flowers and chocolate delivery was definitely a thoughtful gesture. The flowers are fresh, pretty and holding up great - many blooms continue to open as the days go on. They arrived early in the day, which was nice after hearing of some Valentine's Day flower delivery mishaps with other companies. However he ordered these for me panned out to be a reliable source. They also provide updated delivery info because he let me know I had a delivery while I wasn't home. I've never been a customer of Casa De Flores as I have my own favs in the area but I'm grateful for the service they provided to the person who ordered these for me over the weekend. read more

Thanks to Nancy, I was able to make a flower delivery possible, just recently, to a nearby area. I have never done one before but was lucky enough to find a store that would do in-house delivery. In-house delivery is the way to go to support local businesses during these times in which I was glad to support. I browsed on their website for options & pricing and received better information just calling the store directly. After inquiring with Nancy directly through the phone, I went in person and spoke to her about what I wanted to set up for delivery. After explaining ideally what I wanted the bouquet to look like, I left the craftsmanship to her and the recipient was more than happy with the bouquet of roses. Thank you Nancy! read more

The place is clean and welcoming. I mainly only come here when I work nearby and need to grab things for work. Balloons are overpriced. I think I paid $6 for 3, for which you can go to Ralphs and get 3 for 99 cents. They sell some beanie babies there, cards, succulent pots, plants. Was driving by and realized my sister's name was on the billboard for a free rose. She was ecstatic considering they usually only post pretty uncommon names and hers is one of the most common. The woman inside is incredibly nice and the shop is very clean. They are open during COVID and are a local encino business so everyone should come and support this family owned florist business. I went in to create my own bouquet, and they were very kind. In the back of the store, there's a fridge with a variety of flowers that I don't normally see at the regular store. They added extra frills to fill out the bouqets & wrapped them nicely in ribbon. They were $40 for 2 bouqets. Flowers looks beautiful for my recipient but all died literally the next day... went to visit my boyfriends mom at her home a day after she got them & it looked like weeks old(HOW EMBARRASSING) expensive for flowers that just don't last AT ALL... I've driven by this place for years and never really thought about going in. One year my brother bought his girlfriend a gorgeous arrangement and I asked where he bought them from, he mentioned this place and how he loves to buy from them.
