My husband has been ordering flowers from Mark's for 23 years - this was the 23rd bouquet I've…read moregotten from them to celebrate either my birthday or our anniversary (we can't afford twice a year). This time it was for our 23rd anniversary. You can see the 2 photos below and easily spot the day they were delivered vs 4 days later. This bouquet was over $250 after the delivery fee. If you add that up over 23 years, that's $5,750. For flowers... I told my husband that this bouquet, while extraordinarily beautiful the day they arrived, by day 4, they had lost color (from red to black), pedals were falling and some flowers were completely falling over. So he sent them an email saying that these flowers were not up to the same standard that we have always enjoyed from this florist. You want to know what their response was? "Thanks for contacting us. We're sorry but we guarantee our flowers for 2 days". That's it. So, if you want to spend $250 on dead flowers by day 4 and nothing will be offered to make up for it except... "We're sorry but we guarantee our flowers for 2 days", then have at it. Buh-bye Mark's. You just lost a 23 year loyal customer (x's 2) who will be shouting to anyone and everyone to not waste their $ on this business. From both my husband and me. What a shame. Imagine how much more money you would have made off of us after another 23 years. That's just stupid. Oh well. Plenty of other florists out there and 100's that are not so far away to avoid an $85 delivery fee.
