I have nothing but amazing things to say about the coordinator. She is wonderful, responsive and worth every penny. However with my wedding florals I was severely disappointed. From the start everything seemed like it would go great. Then once it came time for payment they were trying to charge $500 over what was originally quoted after taking some items off to fit in our budget. After several conversations I was finally able to get Dana on the phone. She was rude and not flexible at all. It was shady to quote us under our budget in order for us to sign a contract then when it came time to pay and too close to get another vendor. We had to cut things because of their quoting error. Following that came my wedding day. My bridesmaids bouquets had green roses instead of light pink. My maid of honor's was missing and had to be thrown together. My bridal bouquet was also green not white and pink like originally planned. The sweetheart table floral arrangement looked cheap. No one ever reached out to apologize to me after the event. The level of service here was very poor and seemed to be petty due to their quoting error. Do not book Dana for your florals if you don't have an unlimited budget, cause otherwise you'll be treated like crap. read more

Laura (and Dana!) gave us the wedding of our dreams. We wanted something untraditional and thought we had a good idea in our head of what it would look like, but they delivered so far above and beyond. And saved us money to boot! Every detail, every vendor recommendation was spot on. But even more so, Laura and her team's help day-of made it so we could leave the stresses behind and focus solely on the joy of our wedding day. Laura brings so much experience, and knew all the right questions to ask -- so much we would not have even known to think of on our own. She was always a leap ahead of us as far as planning, and left no stone unturned. She had fun and original ideas abound, but always kept us on budget. We're recommending her to everyone we know (and everyone who reads Yelp!). read more

From beginning to end, this company, led by Dana is absolutely first class. Coming from the vendor side of things they run your event as if it was their own. Flawlessly! If you haven't enjoyed their services in the past and you're having an event, this is the company to call! I have been in the event business for over 30 years and I highly recommend them! read more

Throughout the planning process, Dana was patient and answered all my questions (even if I asked them several times!). Everything was really perfect, the venue looked beautiful and the evening went so smoothly from beginning to end. Dana was such a calming force during the event, she made my anxiety disappear! It was a truly magical wedding and celebration. We could not have asked for anything more for our first wedding experience, especially so far away from home, we are from NY. I hope we get the chance to work with Dana again sometime. read more

The best planner. We hired DB Creativity for our month-of coordinator and florist for our wedding. I cannot say enough good things! Everything there is so nice and accommodating. Dana was our primary contact and day-off coordinator. She was amazing and made sure our day was perfect and we were able to enjoy every minute. Our flowers were absolutely stunning and they really listened to our likes and dislikes and didn't try to upsell us. Would absolutely use this team again for a future event. read more

Just had my son's Bar Mitzvah and used DB Creativity for our flowers and candy bar. Dana and Laura were awesome!! There are so many services offered, and I wish I could have used them all! Dana was so easy going and provided arrangement ideas for the baseball theme and the idea of going with a candy bar. She also did the gift card box. I have to say that everything was amazing from start to finish. Communication was so easy, and no question ever went unanswered. On the day of the event, every element was there on time and was beyond beautiful. We got compliments on everything! The awesome centerpieces, the gift box, the cocktail table bouquets. It was a pleasure from start to finish. I would highly recommend DB Creativity if you want all your needs met, by the most trustworthy and creative group of people. read more

Thank you so much, Dana and Cynthia, for making our wedding experience incredible! Dana was recommended to us as someone experienced with Jewish weddings and less likely to freak out than other day-of coordinators. Dana and Cynthia did much more than day-of coordination. While we found all of the vendors initially, Dana and Cynthia reminded us of all of the details and made sure every little thing we wanted was taken care of in the couple of months before the wedding. They responded to phone calls and emails incredibly promptly. On the day of, they placed everything where it was supposed to be and moved people around in a timely, courteous manner. Dana offered her years of expertise and a sense of professional calm, and Cynthia offered lots of cheery excitement and personalized support in getting ready for and celebrating our big day. read more

I could not recommend DB Creativity more! Cynthia, Dana and their entire team are the best! They went above and beyond wedding coordination/florals. They are so kind, attentive and just so thoughtful. Cynthia helped with SO much during the photos/reception and my dress change. I literally would have been lost without her. Our wedding was more than we could have ever imagined. They ran with our vision and just made it so perfect. I gave a few bride to be's their info while at the reception still. We really were so lucky to have them plan our big day! Our florals were stunning and more than I ever dreamed of. read more

DB Creativity organized both my sons Bar Mitzvahs two years apart. The most recent one happened just this past weekend. They do a terrific job from beginning to end. I basically had them organize everything for me and choose vendors they like and are familiar with. The party went off beautifully. they are very creative and have a solution no matter what your budget, they also supplied me with lots of previous photos of their work to look through to get an idea of what is possible. Dana - owner - is fabulous. She is knowledgeable, kind and most importantly CALM - which helps me when I'm all over the place. Last minute changes or problems are nothing to her - she will make it happen for you - no matter what. You CAN NOT go wrong with her and her crew! read more

DB Creativity has been amazing with the entire wedding planning and executing process. Laura has been there to be our voice in meetings with other vendors, she was flexible when we told her our expectations for a wedding coordinator which may not have fallen exactly into one of the 3 packages. We had a couple of difficult family and bridesmaid issues to deal with during the day of the wedding such as unexpected guests, a late flower girl, and bridesmaids that really weren't helping at all. Laura and her team swooped in and saved the day over and over again. If it wasn't for them, I don't know what would have happened. I probably would have had an emotional meltdown. I can NOT thank D!B Creativity enough for their help and their guidance. You are wonderful! The decorations were just amazing too!!! read more

I don't think I can thank Laura and Dana enough for all of their hard work on my wedding. They were great to work with from start to finish. They listened to all of my ideas and really helped to create something magical. It was so easy to do both planning and flowers though one company! Laura handled all of my vendors the week leading up to the wedding so I did not have to worry about a thing. She was so on top of everything the day-of, it really helped my groom and I feel super relaxed and happy the entire day. It could not have gone smoother. Thank you Dana and Laura! I am forever grateful. read more

BEST. DAY. EVER! We currently live in Dallas and got married a few weeks ago at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. From the very first interview with Laura Hazzard at DB Creativity, she gave us the confidence that we would be in good hands with her as our planner. We chose to do the full planning package with design and it was possibly our second best decision after deciding to get married. From a planning/coordination perspective, Laura helped us save money at every step of the process by negotiating with vendors and advising us where we didn't need to spend. She introduced us to some incredible vendors who were key players in making our day perfect. Most importantly, Laura made the entire process easy, fun, and stress free. She was extremely responsive when we had even the most random of questions, was completely organized, and kept us on track with deadlines and budget throughout the process. Even though we were planning from 1500 miles away, we were so comfortable that things were under control that we skipped the opportunity to do a walk-through 45 days before the event. The wedding went off without a hitch because everyone knew exactly where to be, when to be there, and what was next. Everything else magically happened behind the scenes and we didn't have to think about it. Even our family and guests commented independently that our planner and designers were on top of everything. From a design perspective, DB Creativity, Dana Bresin, Laura, and the team did an unbelievable job executing our vision for the event. They listened carefully to exactly what we wanted and then managed the entire design process, delivering above and beyond our expectations. Especially if you have a unique vision for your event (we had a "Hoppy" theme featuring craft beer and bunnies), the DB Creativity team were excited to learn our story and then turned it into reality. Our jaws dropped when we saw our ceremony space decorated for the first time. DB Creativity delivered in all aspects - they literally found fresh hops (hops for beer) and integrated those into the floral design on our archway/altar. And our napkins were in a bunny fold - specially made for the bride and groom. Everything was perfect. Ultimately, we HIGHLY recommend DB Creativity for both event coordination and design. We could not imagine going through the wedding planning process without DB Creativity by our side every step of the way. read more

We hired DB Creativity to coordinate our wedding. Laura reached out to us after seeing our inquiry about wedding planners, and we knew after our initial meeting that we would absolutely hire her. She had a contagious energy and enthusiasm, and a kind, no-nonsense perspective that we knew was exactly what we needed to pull our wedding together. With just a few months left before the wedding, my fiancé and I had not done enough at all, and Laura was able to wrangle us into shape and make it seem effortless. Dana and Laura executed a beautiful wedding well beyond what we even had the capacity to envision. The flowers and decorations were beautiful. Every vendor recommendation was wonderful. And most importantly, we could not have done without their wonderful organizational and emotional support. I enjoyed every minute of my wedding day. It never occurred to me for a moment that I needed to worry about a single detail going the way we planned. I knew that Laura would make sure everything was great, and it was. She's really a special, beautiful person and I'm so glad that she was a part of our wedding celebration. read more

I have no clue what I would have done without Laura by my side. She was the greatest most experienced, professional, and calm coordinator ever! Thank you so much for everything you did for my hubby and I on our wedding day. read more

We just had our son's bar mitzvah party last weekend at the Annenberg Beach House. Dana and Laura helped with the planning of our event from start to finish. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted for the party, and Dana and Laura helped to make that idea a reality. They recommended vendors, helped coordinate with all of the vendors, provided decor, advice, hand holding and much more. The evening of the event went off without a hitch. Dana was there at the venue hours before the party started to make sure that everyone and everything was ready to go from the moment we arrived. As soon as I arrived, she made sure I had a much needed glass of wine in my hand. Any time Dana saw me looking around for something, she was by my side to get whatever I needed. An envelope in my hand? Dana was there immediately to take it from me and put it away. My 5 year old son clinging to my leg? Dana was there with a piece of pizza for him. A seat missing at a table, there was Dana to fix it. Her impeccable organization and planning of the timeline with our DJ from Real Genius made the event flow seamlessly. There was never a moment where any kids or adults were looking around trying to figure out what to do. There was enough free time for the kids to get to chat, play basketball, or make a flipbook, but never too much downtime that anyone was bored. The kids (and most of the adults) were engaged from the moment the party started until the DJ played the last song. I would highly recommend Dana and her team and DB Creativity. read more

I am a bride who got married this past May 2016, and I would HIGHLY recommend Laura and Dana at DB Creativity! Their relationships with vendors, ability to listen and carry out a creative vision, and eye for detail were all critical in making my wedding day even better than we had imagined. Here are just a few examples of how Laura and Dana went above and beyond for my wedding: Negotiating prices/extras - Because of their long-standing relationships with vendors in the LA area, they were able to negotiate rates for several of my vendors. The savings from the vendors ended up covering the cost of their services and more! For example, they were able to get us out of our catering minimum (we had 110 guests, but were supposed to pay for a minimum of 150), which saved us thousands of dollars. The week before, they were also able to get us complimentary specialty seating for our cocktail area (beautiful cabana and chairs) because of their relationship with the rentals vendor. Throughout the process, they made budgeting very easy, with a detailed budget spreadsheet and several check-ins to make sure we stayed on track. They also put together mock budgets for three different venues when we were trying to decide where to have the wedding. Eye for details - Laura's background in project management gives her an extreme eye for detail, and I felt so supported knowing that she would make sure everything went according to the vision! She has a detailed binder with notes from all of our prior meetings, and she would consistently check in to make sure we covered off on everything that we talked about. When working with vendors, she always knew the right questions to ask to make sure that we got exactly what we were looking for. When it came to floral, both Dana and Laura were extremely good at getting me to articulate my vision clearly. At our sample appointment, they got the bouquets and table settings exactly right, giving us several options to work with. They had such a strong eye for detail that when I told them I was iffy about a certain kind of rose because of the coloring on the outer petals, they offered to pick the outer petals off of each rose for every center piece in order to get it right. Seamlessly working with vendors - Dana and Laura made working with vendors extremely seamless and easy. They knew the exact vendors to recommend that were both high quality and within our budget. And we honestly loved all of the vendors they recommended - the DJ, photographer, officiant, baker...even the vendor we used to order the booze! When working with vendors, Laura was great at facilitating calls when they involved multiple parties and checking in with vendors so that they were aware of all day-of details. When it threatened to rain the week leading up to our wedding, Laura knew the exact vendor to call about tenting, and when we decided not to go with a tent, she knew exactly who to call to order 60 large white umbrellas for our guests! No stress on the day-of - Laura went above and beyond on the day of our wedding to make sure that no one involved in our wedding would be stressed out by wedding details. Everything was delegated through her, so that my parents and my wedding party didn't have to worry about doing anything except having fun! All of the officiant forms, tips, place cards, decor, etc. were handed off ahead of time so that we didn't have to worry about it. Laura was also great about rallying the wedding party and making sure they knew what they were doing for the ceremony and for the grand entrance. Laura and Dana made sure that we stuck to our detailed timeline and that my husband and I didn't miss a beat. Quick problem solving - Dana and Laura were quick to solve any problems that came up during planning and especially on the day-of. For example, during our grand entrance, the music suddenly shut off! In the moment, Laura made sure that the DJ kept things moving as the rest of our wedding party made their entrances, while Dana worked with the venue to understand what was happening. From the guest perspective, everything continued as normal and by the time my husband and I made our grand entrance, the music was already back on. No big deal. What we later found out was that our venue had noise restrictions so when the DJ started playing music, the decibel reader registered a noise level that was too high and shut the system down. In a matter of minutes, Dana was able to work with our venue to move the decibel reader farther away from the dance floor so that we could play our music at a sound level that our guests could hear and enjoy. Aside from their mad wedding planning skills, Laura and Dana are just awesome people. It is clear they love what they do and that they truly care about the success of your event. read more

Wow!!! I cannot speak highly enough about how incredibly detailed, confident, and professional Laura is as a planner. In September 2017, my husband and I had 50 of our closest friends and family join us in MYKONOS GREECE, for our wedding. Starting about 9 months out, Laura held my hand and walked me through the process of organizing and planning the wedding of our dreams. Everything from dress selection, to negotiations with vendors, she made it her mission to keep every single detail in order, which allowed me to focus my attention elsewhere. She kept meticulous notes of each detail in a shared excel spreadsheet, so that we could both keep track of what needed to be done, and how much we were spending. Throwing a 4-day destination wedding in Mykonos ain't cheap! But Laura made sure that we got the best prices on each of our purchases, and would often send me creative ideas of ways we could save money. When it came time for our wedding, it only made sense to fly Laura to Greece to accompany us on our big day. From the moment our guests arrived in Europe, she remained in constant contact with them, quickly solving problems, which again, freed me and my husband up, to enjoy our guests. She arranged all of our site visits, tours and tastings, a few days before the wedding, which helped to ease any nerves I had about The Big Day. And of course on the day of our wedding, she coordinated with the local teams to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Not only is she terribly talented at what she does, she is also a genuinely good person, and I am happy to now call her a dear friend. In the end, any bride should consider herself lucky to have Laura by her side on her wedding day. The room that they helped put together was beautiful. Laura was at the event the entire time from beginning until end and Dana came by also to make sure everything was in place. The attention to details and making us happy were top priority. Laura was a constant presence making sure everything was smooth and working as planned. I had two events this past weekend, a B'nai Mitzvah for my twins and a brunch. Both events were planned by Dana at DB Creativity. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, start to finish. One of the best things about Dana is her ability to listen to her clients and make their dream come alive. And in our case, my thirteen year old daughter changed her dream more times than I can count and yet when she walked into the room, she immediately said, "Everything is perfect. Much better than I ever thought it could be." Dana does not miss a detail and has a solution for every problem. In our case, the biggest problem was an outside event that had to be moved indoors due to rain and a mudslide. I was so disappointed about this, yet when I entered the room she created for our service, I was blown away. My guests raved about everything and we couldn't have been happier. Dana is great at finding just the right vendors, respecting budget concerns, making suggestions, I could go on and on. She answers all your questions and every time I called or emailed about some 3am worry I had, it was already being handled. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. My greatest suggestion is if you are having an event, give DB Creativity a call, you will NOT be disappointed!!!!! read more

Laura was my point gal...and she is meticulous beyond. I'm Type A...OCD...you name it...and she was my kindred spirit. After what we paid her, I felt almost embarrassed...because the amount of work and coordination it took to make my wedding perfect was incredible. On the day of the wedding, she and Dana made what I know was pure craziness...look effortless. Everyone loved them and they were fun and smiling yet on point all day. They both anticipated my (and everyone else's) need before I even knew it was coming. Thank God I hired them because I was truly able to enjoy my wedding and its every detail because of them. I literally exhaled after I handed the final reigns over to them a few days before the wedding. The best. Worth every penny...and frankly, much, much more. Loved them both. read more

We are a small company that needed to plan our company Holiday Party, at quite frankly, the last minute. Yes, we were those that came scrambling in October to plan an event for December. Dana was fabulous in securing us a site, working within our budget and time frame, and assigning Cynthia as our coordinator! That last part was the topper. Cynthia was amazingly helpful from beginning to end. The night of, we were given the utmost highest service, with all of her attention to our ever last detail. Because we planned our event at the last minute, we had to cut our guest list a bit short- which wasn't a problem as it made our night to celebrate our employees that much more intimate. But for our future events, knowing that we can now fall on DB Creativity to help us out, we can go back to planning the larger event that our company has had in the past, knowing and trusting that they will make sure that our event will be the most successful it could possibly be! read more

I had the pleasure of working with DB Creativity on one of my events, and I had a great experience with Dana and the whole team from beginning to end. DB Creativity was easy to work with from the get-go-- easy communication, very professional, and totally flexible. Unlike many florists, DB Creativity allowed our client to take home all of the floral pieces including their vessels-- dozens of gorgeous Moroccan lanterns, and even two beautiful urns. As a cherry on top, DB Creativity sent me a thank you note the very next week (a courtesy that's a lost art today) and really made an impression.
