I'm not a coffee connoisseur but decided to go for the standard cup of coffee. It did taste okay but was slightly more strong/bitter than my liking. However some do say they like this better than Starbucks's standard coffee. You also can't beat the price here. On a medium cup of coffee you're only spending about $2. There were quite a few other things on the menu that were all customizable. I'd recommend going for one of their specialty drinks if you want something fancier as they looked to be very popular. This location is dog friendly and the barista even brought out a dog bowl for my dog and gave him a treat as we sat on their outdoor tables. I think I will definitely return because the service was just spectacular before and after ordering. While I didn't order much, I think it goes a long way when you're treated so well despite what you order. read more

This Dazbog just didn't do it for me. The location is good in the sense that you have ample parking in an otherwise busy area, but that's about it. The place itself is quite small with little (and poorly arranged) indoor seating plus a small handful of outdoor seats. It would not be my top choice for getting work done. Staff was friendly enough, but slow and didn't prioritize their customers in the order that they were received, which I found a little rude. They also didn't seem to care too much about performing cleaning duties, as the floor looked like it hadn't been swept in days (I found a cigarette butt on the ground near our table.... gross) and the tables and chairs all could have used wiping down. As far as coffee and snacks go, I can't attest to that at the moment. My fiance and I both had tea, which was good - they did have a decent selection - but it's kind of hard to mess up tea with no additives. One thing I did like is that they are dog friendly and offered some doggie snacks, so I'll probably stop by here again for that aspect. Otherwise, my preference is to support small, locally owned shops instead of chains such as this one. read more

Grab your caffeine fix at Dazbog!! This place is so much better than Starbuck's burnt tasting coffee! This popular coffee chain is all over in Denver. They close at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and I didn't even realize it until a customer walked in around 4:30 p.m. and they turned him away. Many other establishments start cleaning up around its patrons to hint they are closing. Dazbog made no attempt to rush any of its current patrons out. The mango smoothie was refreshing and not syrupy-sweet like other competitors. Their Karamel Kreme latte was delish! read more

I've been coming here for years. About 6 months ago they raised prices substantially, nearly doubling the price of my regular order. They have NOT updated the pricing on the menu behind the counter, so you constantly have to guess how much something will cost and just accept that they're charging you far more than the advertised price. This was my boyfriend and I's first time visiting Dazbog and we were left feeling meh. The gentleman "taking our order" just stared at us while we were trying to figure out what we wanted, with this being our first time in. We ordering something advertised on the poster in the lobby and they were both very confused. They weren't helpful in helping us order or offering recommendations, they both honestly seemed put out that we came in at all. Very little seating inside and the entire experience left us leaving with our americanos to visit a different coffee shop. We have heard phenomenal things about Dazbog and everyone we talk to tells us it's a MUST try, so with us being new to Denver we figured we would swing by. We won't be returning. read more

Not only do they have the best coffee, pastries, and quick lunch items, but the location is my private oasis right off of hectic Colorado Blvd. They have a storefront in the Ptarmigan office building, so pull up and park right in front. A small white nights red eye is almost $4 but it's so strong and effective @ keeping you up! Parking here sucks as is all other places @ cherry creek shopping area. You have to pay unless it is a Sunday. They have a bathroom here upstairs that is shared with the adjoining office building. Their featured summer drink right now is a chocolate banana chiller. There's a nice outdoor space with lots of tables that are adjacent to a nice water fountain feature. I cannot believe I am just now writing a review about this. I thought I had written one but I think I gave them a shout-out in a Check-in. Well... I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Pirogis, Pecan Bars, and delicious beverages. The staff is pretty spiffy too! I really love this location because they definitely practice pay it forward. One time I went in and ordered a Chai but forgot to tell them I wanted it iced. They just gave me both at no extra charge. Another time, I ordered a Chai and didn't bring the right card to pay for it. They spotted me a beverage. I mean...who does that these days?! Those acts alone continue to encourage me to bypass stopping at the Dazbog's in my area in South Denver in favor of this one on my way to work. I even drive to this one when I don't have to go to work. I know...it's not that serious to most but I'm wandering about anyway so I don't see it as 'out of the way'. Even though, their Chai is not as flavorful as Chai should be, I will continue to enjoy their blend and pirogis (LOVE the jalapeno sausage one!!). Love the outside seating here....not the prettiest spot, but its nice to sit in the sun, early in the day. I don't drink coffees too often but when I do, I usually go for an iced coffee. Dazbog doesn't have anything that's out of this world or really caught my eyes. They're no different than a large chain coffee shop. The ice coffee I had was on the stronger side as far as taste goes , so I think they use dark roast coffee. This place knows coffee. It's the best I've ever had! From espresso drinks to cold brew and hot drip coffee to even the teas and specialty drinks...So good! I'd rather have a this than a Frappuccino any day. My most favorite thing though is their Lavender Lemon Iced Tea. We are big on non-Starbucks coffee spots, and this one ticked all the boxes. It turns out they only serve dark roast. However, it is delicious! Chocolate Cappuccino is my favorite drink here. The staff I must admit is amazing. They are always willing to help and are great with suggestions..the shop is always full and bustling in the mornings and they know pretty much everyone's drink by memory and keep us on time & caffeinated. The shop itself is always clean and in the mornings they always have plenty of samples available to nibble ok while you wait.. The reason my review is 3 stars is based on the quality of the food. Most of the offerings are either dry or lacking in taste. Its a shame too because if this were fixed this place would be my go to daily. Kudos to the great staff! read more

I decided to check out Dazbog one morning after an appointment next door. I ordered a medium chai tea, which was much more sweet than spicy but still hit the spot. I was surprised at the variety of food items. I didn't need anything to eat at the time but the grab and go selection is definitely as good as or better than some other coffee shops. I noticed three kinds of Dazbog's signature perogies (a chorizo, a chicken, and maybe a veggie), sandwiches from Etai's Bakery, burritos, and several sweets like banana bread, lemon squares, cookies, and brownies. The inside is oddly shaped so there are several funky nooks and crannies in which to sit and possibly read or get some work done. Look for the Wi-Fi password posted at the front counter. If I were planning to sit and hang out, it would have to be on the sunny patio. It overlooks the parking lot but beggars can't be choosers at an office building. read more

I initially reviewed this place when I first moved to Denver. I'm here now to give Dazbog (Ptarmigan location) the full five stars it deserves. GREAT coffee and espresso drinks. My brother from Iowa visited and he could not believe how tasty the brew was. He wants me to buy him a shirt! Honestly, I'm a coffee-shop kind of girl. I like to "have a place", if you know what I mean --- somewhere I can sit and read a book or do a little writing (free wi-fi ftw!). I've been here quite a few times but I don't vary my order much so I can't speak to their specialty drinks. I can vouch for their vanilla lattes (hot and cold). The staff is nice even though I'm usually very out of it before I get my coffee. The food choices are alright. They have pierogis and burritos and baked goods. They even have some gluten free options. The burritos and pierogis are good but sometimes get mushy in the microwave or they aren't heated up enough. It's never that bad though. While they do a good job making the beverages the baristas are more unfriendly than friendly most of the time. This location is in Cherry Creek with metered parking. I liked the nice spacious outside patio area by a small waterfall. The coffee was ok, nothing great. I was really disappointed going in for my first time Saturday morning with a long wait. The place was not even close to busy and I had to wait quite some time just for my soy latte. This is my first time at a Dazbog Coffee bar and they have their own signature coffee grounds available for sale like other coffee houses, with all the cups and other things that go with this sort of establishment. My partner (my lovely wife) and I give this coffee bar 2-stars. Although the place is very different than the most popular franchise (Starbucks, Corporate owned), they have a lot to learn about the environment of a coffee bar, which is one of the things that makes Starbucks soooooo popular. I rate the following concerning this establishment: Drink prices: like starbucks pricey, so you get the starbucks price without the flavor, humm what's wrong with that picture? Comfort 1star , chairs are hard, leather chairs too small they squeeze you in the chair, very small leather chairs, tables too small, wall plugs no where near enough). Cleaniness 2star (food crumbs on the window sills, stained carpets) They do have outside seating, which is very nice as the weather warms. Ambience: Music trendy--not too loud, staff pleasant and friendly; serving area very clean; food in display box appetizing. As this was a Sunday during our visit, early afternoon, it was very cozy and quite. This place is located in a business building, so I would guess during the week it will be very busy as all the customer needs to do is step next door and they are in the coffee shoppe for a quick refreshment or snack and they can quickly get back to their desk in the building. We were able to park our box truck here because it is a Sunday, any other day and forget it because we are in the heart of town. At the end of the day, there is really nothing that makes this coffee bar stand out, other than the fact that it is not the every popular Starbucks coffee-bar environment. N. Downing street branch: Coffee is great, but staff are meh. Staff tend to be very endulged in having self important conversations. On various occasions, it has been too loud to focus on work.
