Korean Fire & Ice Facial This was exactly what I needed! The facial was so relaxing, and my skin feels incredible. You can tell they truly care about their clients and the quality of their service. I left feeling refreshed, confident, and already planning my next visit, In May. Thank you ShaTerra read more

Their $200 NONREFUNDABLE DEPOSIT policy is very bad business practice. I had an appointment with Shaterra on a Saturday. Called on Tuesday to cancel as had other obligations I could not get out of. Was told my $200 deposit would not be reimbursed..... $200 !!!! Called, talked with Shaterra and she would not consider my difficulty in having to cancel. A good business owner would have at least given back part of deposit. This is wrong. I cancelled in plenty of time for her to schedule someone else. I understood if I cancelled 48 hours before appointment,-- which I did - -I would get deposit back. I have used other permanent cosmetic companies, and no deposit was ever required. No "punishment" for cancelling either. Terrible policy and unwavering owner to not give MY money back. Do not understand all the positive reviews. Would never use this company. read more

My Wife got me an Alpha Glow Men's Facial as a surprise Valentine Day Gift. My first instinct was to be apprehensive since I'm not one to schedule one of these on my own. The experience turned out to be great. Shaterra (owner) explained every step of the way . Educating me on how each product/service was benefiting my skin. We also had a lively conversation during the whole process. My last question to her was how often should a person have a service like this, knowing that I will be back.. read more

I regularly utilize ShaTerra Jenkins professional services. I have had facials, nose waxes, brow tints, extreme lashes, lash lifts, massages and now today I took the plunge and received my first Brazilian Wax from ShaTerra. Boy was this an experience. A little bit of pain and temporary discomfort is inevitable, but I must say after today there is no one else I would trust to perform this service! ShaTerra was very comforting and gentle. She took her time and even though I know her personally and felt at ease, she still talked me through everything she was doing, which I really appreciated. She played music which helped relax me a little more and laughed with me throughout my hysterical reactions. The pain was honestly bareable and the results are well worth it! I trust ShaTerra with my skincare through her professional products, and facials, with my beauty needs, and now with my lower extremities. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY & ALL OF HER PROCEDURES. THANKS FOR MAKING MY FIRST TIME GREAT AND TAKING IT EASY ON ME *UPDATE* I received a very detailed and through follow up email from Sha'Terra detailing aftercare and expectations. These items were reviewed with me during the appointment, but I definitely appreciated the extra effort put forth with ensuring that I am able to make the most of the service rendered and how to avoid problems. She never ceases to amaze me with her attention to detail and diligence in providing the best customer service possible & educating her clients all the while! read more

Dayton Powder Brows - Eyelash Service Near Me - Dayton, Ohio

ShaTerra is AMAZING. I moved to Ohio from MD a little over two years a ago and have been struggling to find a brow person. I'm skincare-obsessed and love my acids/ retinols, so back in MD, I was getting my brows threaded instead of waxed. There are not many estheticians that thread here, so I had to go back to waxing, and my experiences with waxing weren't exactly was I had been looking for. I found ShaTerra searching hashtags on IG, and I'm so happy. My brows look PERFECT. I can be very picky and can usually find something wrong...not a thing. Literally perfect. I've already booked three more follow up appointments for the next couple months so I don't miss out! She was so kind and welcoming. The studio is beautiful. Very feminine and clean. If you're looking for an esthetician, run-jog- whatever to her studio. read more

My wedding on Labor Day weekend 2018 was a three-day multicultural event. It was a blessing to have ShaTerra and her remarkable team provide the hair and makeup services for my bridal party and myself. To simply state ShaTerra is amazing is an understatement. ShaTerra is professional, thorough, kind, meticulous, and knowledgeable. ShaTerra begins her services with comprehensive questionnaire asking insightful questions to be completed before your bridal preview, or in my case, bridal previews. The questionnaire asked me about my insecurities regarding makeup, the overall looks I wanted for myself, and the bridal party. On the day of the first bridal preview, ShaTerra remembered my answers, and we talked through how to achieve the looks for the entire wedding. But her meticulousness didn't end there. ShaTerra wanted to see pictures on how the makeup lasted throughout the evening, and sends a follow-up retrospective email asking things that went well, and what could have been better. She truly wants her clients to be happy. On our second preview, ShaTerra not only did preview looks for me, but my mother as well. She even offered to do my sister, who accompanied us, even though it was not scheduled. To have someone be that dedicated and generous to her clients was humbling. I felt so lucky and blessed to have found her. ShaTerra handled any surprises we threw at her, such as adding additional services in stride, and most importantly she is insanely talented! ShaTerra accomplished every single look I and my bridal party wanted and then some! She enhanced my best features; understood challenges women of color have when it comes to makeup shades and sustainability. Not to mention is quite experienced with Indian culture. She knew how to frame my face to complement the traditional bridal jewelry pieces and dupatta draping (think heavy veil). Not having to explain cultural norms was refreshing. ShaTerra will be my first and only call, if I ever have a need for any of her services again. To any future brides out there, book ShaTerra for your wedding, I promise you won't regret it! read more

I can't suggest ShaTerra enough! She is so professional and knowledgeable and kind. I won't go anywhere else in Dayton!

Luv! I am so happy I found Shaterra on Yelp! I live in Las Vegas and am in Dayton helping my daughter move into her first apartment and after a busy few weeks I desperately needed a lash fill. I am spoiled at home with my regular lash lady (Amber at Brilliance Beauty Lounge if you're ever in Vegas) so I was nervous to try a new place but Shaterra was amazing! Her studio is clean, modern and elegant. Her table was comfy and she offered a sheet when I mentioned I was chilly. Shaterra is super friendly and we had great conversation. I felt so relaxed I was close to falling asleep towards the end of the session. Shateera's prices are average for lash extensions. The lashes are holding their shape, and are staying on with little/normal shedding. I had a little more sensitivity to the glue than normal but that cleared up within minutes. Overall I am thrilled with the results and excited to know I have an option for fills while in the area in the future. Thank you Shaterra! *the included pics are unedited I'm not wearing makeup and were taken 3 days after fill read more

I've been getting eyelash extensions for about a year now and recently moved to Ohio so of course I need to find a good lash tech and I am so happy I found Shattera! She's absolutely amazing and you can tell she loves what she does. I came in with lashes from the eyelash tech that did my lashes in Texas and Shattera is an amazing job making them look even better with what I already have. Will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my girls. read more

Just updating my review of Shaterra. She's the most professional and friendly person there is! My eyebrows have never looked better! I just LOVE them! Because of Covid I hadn't been able to get my lashes done for a while but am starting back with that. I miss my gorgeous lashes so much and now that I will be going out of the house now and hitting the concert scene again it's a must have for me! read more

I was happy to find this place with a short drive from my home. I had eyelash extensions done in California for my sister's wedding and enjoyed having them so much that I wanted to get them refilled. I came across Shaterra's site searching through Yelp and was impressed with some of the reviews. I sent her a message to request an appointment and she was very prompt in contacting me. The experience was relaxing and took about an hour. Pricing was reasonable compared to others I've seen. I will continue to get my eyelashes done through Shaterra! read more

ShaTerra does a beautiful job with hair and make up! I just had my bridal trial with her and I have never felt more beautiful!
