Always a great experience!! They are fast and stay on top of everything. There's only one lady there today and she was flying!! She got thru the line super fast! Got a mixed dozen and a few odds and the staff loved them! Place is clean and organized as well!

Raspberry fritter. Check out the size of it.

Best donuts in town! I also really love the variety offered every day. The filled donuts are very tasty and the Cale doubts are divine!

Great donuts. But for some reason they can't figure out how to make enough to last past 9 am on a Sat.

London gave great customer service, the old fashion glaze was good, and the ice cream was delicious. I will be back.

Burgess Orchards - Peach Sunday 10/10

Came here about a month ago for the peach shake since it's become an annual tradition since last…read moreyear, but forgot to make sure they added the graham cracker topping! They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! Not sure when they officially close for the season, but worth looking into before stopping by.

My family and I heard about this place from an instagram post, so we made the trek out to see what…read moreall the fuss was about. When we got there, there had to be nearly 100 scattered around with a sizable line. We probably waited about 20 mins to get to the window and order. While we waited in line, I was really suprised to see that there were only 3 tables available for people to sit. I find this pretty wild with how many people were there and I was told this was a "slow" day. It was almost 95 degrees outside and we had our little kids with us, so sitting in the grass and roasting wasn't an option, all the spots on the edge of the cement pad in the shade were taken, and of course the 3 tables were taken. When we got our ice cream (we ordered the cherry, peach, and then the apple cider slush) we just had to find somewhere to stand awkwardly while we had to wait to pounce on and fight for a spot on the ground that would eventually open up. They have an indoor area, where it seems they sell the peaches and other fruit they produce by the box, but I didn't see one person in there trying to buy any, and even then there was most certainly still space in there for a few more tables in the shade. For a place that's so busy apparently, it seems they could take better care of their customers. All that said, back to the actual treats themselves. I personally had the cherry and would say it was just okay. The ice cream reminds me of the ice cream you would get at the Costco cafe, which isn't bad, but certainly not super exciting. The cherries were good, though I have no idea if they are cherries from their farm or from a cherry pie filling can at the store. I wish the cherries were more evenly mixed in the ice cream. There was about an inch of straight cherries in the bottom, and some on the top. Meaning the treat started nice, then I had to eat through a bunch of plain vanilla ice cream to be able to get to the rest of the good stuff. Once I did, the ice cream gets a lot better when you can mix the cherries and sauce around with it. I tried a few bites of my kids apple cider slush, and it's exactly what it sounds like. I found myself wishing I'd ordered one of these instead. I found it a lot more unique and refreshing than what I'd gotten.

I ended up buying some snacks, eggs and produce. The produce section is very minimal and basic. I only bought some apples, bananas and some lemons. So I didn't get a good look at the offerings, but there's a chance you might not find what you are looking for unless is a basic produce staple. The green apples had lots of bruising and some damage to ten, so I had to sort through several before finding ones I liked. The bakery section had tons of yummy treats I'd never seen in other stores. But it was Sunday so the bakery itself was closed. The aisles all seemed to be well stocked. I found what I was looking for including a dozen eggs for $6.99. It's a lot pricier here than other bigger chain grocery stores. That hurt a bit. Checkout was abysmal as only one check stand open, and the checker was either new, or not the brightest, as he was like a sloth in no hurry to move quickly. He was friendly tho. I'll definitely give it another try when I'm feeling better and do price comparisons on what I normally buy to see how much more pricey it is. But overall I appreciated the cleanliness and the fact it wasn't packed with shoppers.

I didn't know I would find my favorite ever cookie sandwich there in the bakery section. I went to another maceys before I flew out the next day and found the cookie sandwich but a different flavor. Kimmie is as sweet as they come - she makes you feel like she's your long-lost aunt who welcomes you to her shop and can/will make any candy/chocolate concoction your heart desires, she really is "YOUR personal kandy maker". Upon entering her lovely shop, she has a table full of samples that she offers you to see what you like or gravitate to. I've had the privilege of tasting her salted caramels - they are to die for! A MUST have! My favorites so far: salted caramels, milk chocolate roasted almonds bark with buttery vanilla caramels, freeze-dried taffy (I had no idea till I tried hers that I liked freeze-dried taffy!). Recently, I requested her to make: Almond chocolate nougat and buttery vanilla caramel, and homemade marshmallows. It was so good! Kimmie is mostly an online business but she sometimes holds an open house so you can come and see her candy shop in person and try samples!

Not only did the restaurant get a makeover, but so did the menu. The food was okay! I would argue it's about the same quality as what the old kitchen was serving but the menu is completely different. My breakfast sandwich was comically large. The pancakes -- heavy emphasis on "cakes" -- were so sweet. The hollandaise on the Benedict and the potatoes were seasoned well. (They "ran out" of ketchup so that was a bummer.) Everything was good but not necessarily something to write home about. The environment is the star of the show! Well decorated, great seating, and beautiful views. I hadn't been to the Ridge Cafe since before Covid, so it was fun coming back to see and taste the changes of ROR. For the views alone, give Royal On Ridge a try.

The breakfast croissant sandwich was huge, but the bacon wasn't at all cooked and all four of us that ordered it sent our bacon back to the kitchen to be cooked more. The potatoes looked amazing, but I didn't think they were that great. Everyone said their food was fine, but no raving reviews. The best thing ordered by our table was the Goat Cheese appetizer. This was yummy! Highly recommend. Overall, won't be making the drive for this place again.
