The cookies here were decent, it's just a carbon copy of crumbl cookie, (or perhaps crumbl is a copy of this place, who knows) By far my favorite was the banana crème pie cookie, while my least favorite was the chocolate chip, as it was essentially a solid piece of cookie dough. read more

Cookies and drinks were good, came here on an elementary support night and there was 4 or 5 teens "working" They were screaming at the top of their lungs and playing around rather than helping the one teenager actually working. As the winner and runner-up of the most recent Utah Taste Off, I was pretty excited to give Twisted Sugar a try. I went on a Saturday to this location, which is pretty far out of my way. The things I do for treats, guys. The teenagers who were working both seemed pretty unenthused, and weren't incredibly helpful when I was asking about the differences between the "levels" of the cookies. I got the Sugardoodle and the Twisted Sugar. I didn't like the Sugardoodle at all, but I'm sure others might. I guess a sugar cookie base with snickerdoodle type frosting just wasn't what I was expecting, but now I know. The Twisted Sugar was OK. I actually prefer the coconut lime sugar cookie at Crave Cookies in Midvale, and it's much closer to me (plus it's a bigger cookie). I also got a soda while I was in there: Sprite Zero with sugar free coconut. Thankfully I looked up in time to see the employee using regular Sprite, not Sprite Zero. So I reminded him, and he apologized and started over. I'm not diabetic, but if someone ordered a diet soda and received a full-sugar soda, that could be pretty problematic. For me personally, I'd just rather have my sugar in a cookie than in a drink, is all. Hopefully he used sugar free coconut instead of regular. Overall, not something I'd go out of my way for again. I could see myself giving it another go if I'm in the area, and I would maybe try a regular Frosted Sugar, or the chocolate chip (employee recommendation). And now that I'm looking at the menu again, the Oatmeal Cookie Butter might be worth another trip. We will see. For now, I'll stick with Crave. read more

I went here expecting to find just another sugar high cookie shop that is so common in Utah. I walked away with joy as the cookies didn't taste overly buttery and they went overly sweet. It was a perfect blend for this goldie locks. The cookie were a tad bit smaller other places, but still a good size. My 7 year old still couldn't eat a whole one due to its size. The cost was also lower than say Crumbl it seemed like. It helps keep obesity in check . As other reviewers have pointed out you can tell they chill the cookies and then decorate them to order. I have gone to the Layton location and it was amazing. Went to this location and the young lady who helped us had attitude because we asked for a box. We got our cookies and when we were driving away the wifey noticed our two Swizzle sugar cookies had no limes. I went back in and told the girl we had no lines. She rolled her eyes and got the limes. She apologized so I give her more credit. I went home and the cookies tasted old. One of my cookies didn't taste fully cooked. I also need to mention the cookie size were significantly smaller. We wanted the new pumpkins chocolate chip cookies for a family gathering. We called the store to let them know we wanted a dozen. They told us to come in an hour. We come in an hour and they have the cookies but no frosting, charged our card before telling us. We also asked for 2 chocolate chip cookies and they only had one. This place deserves a little more love. It looks like they're kind of a new place, or haven't been there very long. I recognize it's a larger chain so maybe this location is a newer franchise or something. They have a pretty good selection of amazing gourmet cookies, and drinks, and some other desserts. The last time I visited, the two girls working were very pleasant, polite, professional and efficient. I got a box with a custom mix of different cookies, and we had a little taste test with my family. Everyone in my family had a favorite number one choice cookie. My favorite was the signature twisted sugar cream cookie with lime on it. my daughter's favorite was the raspberry cheesecake, my wife's favorite was the are you a chocolate. tldr: a line of cars was wrapped around the store because the shop closed right 9 and didn't tell the next customers in line. The line of 4 cars didn't realize it for 20 minutes because service had been that slow to begin with. This was at the Cottonwood Heights, UT location. I arrived at the drive through at 8:30ish. There was a long line, but I've been super excited to try this new place so I stayed anyways. I (and obviously many others) didn't realize that closing time was at 9. The line was so slow. They take your order at the window and then get your food... or so I assume. The person in front of me got their order, by the time it got to be my turn, it had already been 30 minutes, but it's one of those things where you've stayed long enough that you feel like you can't just give up. I waited at the window for 20+ minutes before I realized no one was coming. (The cars in front of me had waited a long time before they had even gotten their order taken so it didn't seem unreasonable to wait) I googled it and realized they had closed 20 minutes prior. I get it. I came late. I didn't look at the closing time. What I don't understand or look kindly upon was the fact that the store was no longer serving customers, yet they didn't give me and 3 customers behind me the curtesy of telling us that. read more
