There were two young ladies working there and neither of them greeting us when we entered. (It's a small enough space, and we were the only customers. It just felt awkward to walk in and start browsing while she just watched us.) When we checked out, I attempted friendly small talk and it fell flat. Although the process has incorporated lots of technology since their humble beginnings in the name of efficiency - the quality and passion is alive and well. Although I am told factory tours are no longer available I trust that this five generation business still holds the values and work ethics of the founder. I purchased my latest standup pouch of assorted sours from Cracker Barrel but after returning to their website I think ordering them direct from Sweets online in bulk is definitely a better value and ensures I won't run out anytime soon...
