The cake was not decorated with the writing we asked for. We didn't realize this until the event. Lesson learned - check your cake before you leave the bakery. The staff was not apologetic about this at all when I called the next day. They offered a refund. I wanted a new cake so we could take pictures. It was a retirement party for someone who worked 37 years for our company. They reluctantly agreed to a new cake - but only what was in the case and ready. The new cake was smaller and when I picked it up - it had chocolate frosting with chocolate writing. They made it right- but it seemed like a huge pain for the bakery.
