    No frills, just great food.
    Rebecca K.

I love diners. That "everyone knows you and exactly how you like your coffee" vibes are the best! This place is no exception! The food was so good and the service was exactly what you would expect and what you want. They were incredibly nice, friendly, and pretty fast to boot. Definitely going to be back.

Nothing to complain about from our visit, good food, present server...not an over the top, out of this world experience but nothing out of the ordinary for a diner like this.

This Taco Bell (?) converted to a diner has a small town feel with big heart. On a girls trip visiting Cleveland, we wanted to venture out on a rainy day for an authentic experience. The waitresses were super friendly and tag teamed for an efficient dining experience. The owner/cook came out to greet us and whipped up a great lamb gyro. The icing on the cake? The syrup on the pancake? Our sweet friend Carl who was so nice! Plus he's handy - he made the unique neon sign in the dining room! Peace and love to you Daybreak!

The pricing for the French toast is advertised incorrect...
    Veronica N.

I ordered the French toast with banana & hazelnut & as it's stated on the menu it should be $5.99...however, once I received my bill it read $7.99 for the French toast...I was told the price could NOT be adjusted because it's $1/topping however, as you can see, that's not stated on the menu anywhere...I went ahead and paid the $7.99 however, I may not ever return because of this nor refer someone...I'll add a pic of the bill in addition to this post... Overall, food was tasty & came out quick...

The menu has some standout breakfast options you don't see often around here, like loaded grits (a rare Southern find in this area). The grits were absolutely amazing--definitely my new go-to breakfast craving. The blueberry cream cheese muffin totally lived up to the hype too: moist, sweet, and perfectly balanced. We also tried the seasonal strawberry mocha. The coffee itself was smooth and well-made, though the strawberry flavor was a bit subtle. The vibe is one of the best parts--lots of seating, a mix of people working and chatting, and the kind of cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. They also host yoga twice a week (Thursdays and Sundays) and fun events like game nights, which adds to the community feel. Definitely a spot worth lingering in.

It's designed in a way that makes you want to stay for hours -- calm, relaxing, and easy to get lost in. I'm already looking forward to stopping by again next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! I am giving Cafe Blanc 4.5 stars out of 5.

I had seen pictures of their dreamy spiral staircase, the impossibly chic rope benches, the cream palette with splashes of greenery and in person it all looked even better! The style was real, not too much, not tacky, just gorgeous. Their drinks were the star in my opinion! I got something of their seasonal menu--white rose refresher with sparkling water, not Redbull, thanks. Rose syrup at the bottom, splash of coconut milk and topped with a rock candy!!! So good and refreshing. It was $7 but the size was palpable too. Their food was not my favorite though. I got a ham and cheese croissant and it was the breadiest, least flaky croissant I've ever had. Not buttery, not light and not worth the $11! Their sandwiches looked pretty thin and dry as well. I think I would try a salad next time as that looked pretty good. There was parking and the building itself was chic and pretty too. Will be coming back!

There is also the main area (center part where you order) that has tables and chairs which is situated when you first walk in and then there is a back area towards the left that can be used as well. So, there are 2 back sections. DRINKS -- They sell matcha, tea, and coffee. I ordered a cup of Storehouse black tea with honey ($4 price, I think). I think the employee added too much honey in my tea because my stomach started hurting a little so I couldn't finish it but that's okay. I later got a mug of warm water which helped soothe my stomach. The cup of tea though is quite expensive but I like to support local businesses (Storehouse Tea is a Cleveland business). FOOD -- I also ordered a Rosemary bagel ($4) with a side of butter (.50 cents). The Rosemary bagel was delicious which isn't surprising because the owners make their own bagels. If you work remote then this coffee shop is for you as they have free wifi and plenty of tables to use. They have lots of chairs and tables laid out in three different sections. The music isn't as loud like most coffee shops in the area so I appreciated that. The back area towards the right only has 2 outlets available but thankfully, I got one to use. If you come with a laptop, make sure your battery is charged or find another seat where there is an outlet. TIP -- They sell packaged coffee to go, some packaged biscuit mix, and cute notebooks.

I love adeni tea and went to try this place. We ended up ordering something different and may now have a new favorite. The tea was hot, sweet , and flavorful. We split a sandwich, each got a dessert, and split a medium pot of tea. The chicken salad was tasty. It was mostly mayo and chicken and we didn't notice anything else to it, but I enjoyed it. It was on the thin side. Again, the tea was delicious and we drank the whole pot. The desserts , mine a strawberry tree Leche, and my mom and cookie cheesecake. To start, from the time we placed our order to the time we received it was 30 minutes. My order included a pastry, coffee, and sandwich, which could almost be forgivable; however, my sister placed a separate order for 2 pastries and a coffee. That should not take 30 minutes. It was a Tuesday afternoon, not terribly busy. After 30 minutes, we had 4 hangry kids who had been asking about their chocolate cake for... well 30 minutes. Next, onto the pastries. $15 a piece is absurd, but my fault not doing the research into price, so I will not fault them for that, only myself. I will fault them for the pastries being rock solid. We got an edible cup and a strawberry. Both were rock hard, and the experience eating them was not enjoyable at all. We were using our plastic spoons as a pick-axe, just trying to get a bite. It is impossible to get a bite of all the layers this way, which defeats the purpose. The kids shared the chocolate cake, thank god that was not frozen solid. Finally, to my butter chicken croissant. The butter chicken part was shredded chicken in the sauce, spread thinner than Dunkin' Donuts spreads their cream cheese. If I had scraped it all off into a pile, it would be about 2 tablespoons of chicken, and that is not an exaggeration. Kids were starving by this point- they were out of the hot dog on the menu, which is what we expected to feed them. I resigned and figured they could try the butter chicken, but for $11 it was not enough to even feed one kid. Thank goodness it included about 10 potato chips on the side, which held them over as we promised to stop for food for them on the way home. All in all- if our food had come out in 10-15 minutes (generous amount of time for coffee and pastry), had it not been frozen, and had I had at least a quarter cup of butter chicken, I could maybe give this place 3-4 stars, and just warn others on the price. However, neither the service nor food nor price was acceptable given the quality, and I am disappointed we wasted an hour of our day and $60 of our hard earned money here.
