But as an outsider passing through town (I have only been to Tracy one other time... I think) I wasn't familiar. I should have just looked at the Yelp pin drop more carefully, because it's right on. Head over to the west side of the mall and pop in. I don't love malls, but let's not hold that against them. Generally, I'm a little ambivalent about Big 5. Whereas Cabela's and Bass Pro Shops are all about the outdoors kind of sporting goods, and Dick's is, and Sports Authority was, all about the team sports, this is like a meet in the middle kind of thing. As a result, you can find a lot of gear for different disciplines, but they don't really specialize in any of them. Their strongest variety comes in the shoe section, IMO, which has a mixture of lower-end and middle of the road brands and styles. Great for folks on a budget. I came here looking for backpacking meals. Hurrah! They have them. Dehydrated food is never cheap, and these were $9-10 which is a dollar or two more than I'm used to paying. But still, they had them and I didn't have to drive to the next town (out of my way) to the REI to find them. I looked for a Platypus bag for water as well, but they only had Camelblack bladders--the full hose-hookup kind. I just wanted water storage. Oh well. They do sell firearms here. I have no idea what the rules are in California, but it looked like they had a basic assortment of your more popular .22 rifles, shotguns, and other models. I was glad to have found this spot, even if it wasn't my favorite sporting goods stop, they did come through for me and I got what I needed!

We did end up buying 2 jerseys, but would likely have gotten a couple more for our kids if we were free to browse the store. They way they handled us, I was honestly just ready to buy my Salute to Service jersey and get the heck out of there. Prices are high, but they are the prices on the sales tag, so I would imagine that is set by Nike. Overall, ok place to buy a jersey and they have a good selection. The staff just seems to be watching as if you're going to steal something and they are a bit pushy. Not a fun experience, but serviceable if you need a jersey here in Tracy.

Prices are on the high end but if you think about it, it beats driving out of town and wasting your $4.00+/gal gas. The workers for the most part are friendly but from time to time you get those that make you feel invisible. And having their hats behind the counter is really annoying because most of the time the workers are standing there and my x-ray vision doesn't work. On a better note... I recently came into this store to try on a jersey just to see what my size was. The guy was kind enough to pull a jersey down and let me try it on. I would have bought the Derrick Rose jersey from them if they had it but they were sold out (gotta love NBA playoff time) This past Christmas my best friend (shoutout to Nem!) brought me here to get a jacket I've been wanting all football season. They didn't have my size so the guy said he could order it and it would be at the store within a week which would be after Christmas. We then came back a few days later, and got told by the same lady that they didn't restock and that they won't be for a whole month. We then proceeded to look around and shop as we were just getting stared at by the lady who owns the store and the man who owns the store next door A & Z Variety, which was so uncomfortable as they kept asking us questions and pacing by us, so we ended up leaving. Nothing but weird vibes from both individuals. As we left the store we then got told by security that we are no longer welcomed at this store and they had banned us, security didn't even have an explanation as they didn't give him one. In shock at how terribly ran this place is and how unwelcoming they were. Never had this kind of experience before.

First a little Target haul, since we are addicted lol! My toddler and I had fun playing pretend at their fire truck themed indoor play area after shopping! We were parched after playing and Auntie Anne's was advertising peach drinks, the Frozen Peach Lemonade is where it's at! Dinner was Halal Joint, but food didn't really wow us. The animal ride was fun with my tot, played popular kids music throughout! Not to mention it's free with $5-$10 squishy purchase, she picked out a strawberry! We'd return to check out more spots in the mall, that's been in business since the 90's! Some things were warn down and stores were empty, but staff were nice! All in all 3/5 star experience. There is still a food court but half of the food locations are closed too. Selection of types of stores is limited. This mall has an arcade which has some fun games to play. Can be expensive to purchase things especialy the way things are right now. So I usually only buy things on sale.

My spouse took a bite before we realized they had been expired for almost ONE YEAR. This is completely unacceptable, especially for a refrigerated dairy product. Customers should be able to trust that food on the shelves is safe and properly checked. Thankfully we noticed, but only after my spouse had already eaten some of it. Walmart needs to do better about checking and removing expired products.

7/5/26- Target lost a sale today. Lane 5 cashier isn't very…read moreobservant. I was in line for 10 min before he turned off his light. Before turning off his light he had an issue with a transaction 2 custo.ers befire me and had to leave to get a manager or shift supervisor for help. After he came back then he turned off his light but didn't say anything to those standing in line. While he went to get help more people gad lined up behind me since there were only 2 registers open. After another couple of minutes he came and told me that he was closed. I told him I was in line before he turned off his lane light. He didn't seem to care and walked back to his register. Of he had looked up to see who was the last person in line before turning off his lane light, that would have been better customer service care. Luckily this is not my go to box store. I inly come to target if I have other errands at the mall. Primarily due to their lack of merchandise variety in the grocery department and poor cashier customer service qnd long lines at the registers. I only had a couple of items but xant 7se the self checkout since they don't allow cash to pay there.
