Jess is so sweet. It was my first time at this location and I am so impressed and glad I went here. I have thick unruly curly hair and felt like the process was so quick and easy for me. Jess was helpful informative and got my hair lightened up a lot in one session. The location is very nice and there is parking right next door. You can stroll down to the beach or a local spot for lunch. All in walkable distance. I am in love with my hair and I look forward to coming back with Jess. So happy I walked into this gem. If I lived in this area I would make this my go-to salon--particularly with Christine Cantu, who was wonderfully welcoming and full of intelligent conversation. Oh, and of course the haircut itself was quality. All scissors, no clippers, and skillfully executed. I told her I was an actor/musician and she blew any of the premium haircuts I've received from top salons in LA out of the water, along with logically sound advice about which haircut I should choose according to my facial structure. (I agreed with her) Best of all, they let me get a cut when they weren't even technically "open." They were decorating for the holidays when I stumbled in and they sat me down. This salon is so beautiful on the inside and out. Very modern, clean, and fresh! Kaitlyn Hindiyeh has been cutting mine and my husband's hair for the past several months since we moved here. She is phenomenal at what she does! First, I have to admit I am a "plain Jane" girl. I have long, straight, and very low-maintenance hair. I never use chemicals, heat or styling tools if that tells you anything about low-maintenance and Kaitlyn always manages to make my hair gorgeous! She knows the right cut to to frame my face and understands how my hair will fall as a result of me not styling it regularly, she also manages to create a cut with my hair that allows me to also make it beautiful when I do style it! My husband also has longer hair, it tends to dry out a bit on the ends due to the ocean and he has very luscious waves that cane take over his head at times. Kaitlyn always cuts his hair perfectly to frame his face and tame his ends. His long hair is always cut nicely, both of our styles last until our next appointment with Kaitlyn always. Go see Kaitlyn, she's the best! She's also the sweetest and cares about what you're looking for. She really listens to what you're looking to achieve and will give you honest feedback (yea that IG filter isn't always what your hair will look like) but your hair will always be on point!
