Eddie is absolutely phenomenal! Talented hairstylist these days are very hard to find and Eddie is unbelievably seasoned full of knowledge and gave me probably the best haircut that I have had and at least a decade! I wear my hair very long and Eddie was successful in layering my hair enough to Have it perform and sit nicely while also still keeping it long! I left the salon with shiny hair light ceiling, but the best part my hair was still kept successfully long that not a lot of people noticed that I actually got a haircut! Which for the women who like to wear their hair long is honestly the best feeling ever! Eddie knows exactly what he's doing so much so that I would take a flight from Big Sky Montana back to Laguna in three months just to get my haircut again! Wow... I'm shocked to even have to write this review. I will start out by saying that the owner has offered me a full refund. I am going to take her up on that, considering the fact that I left this place with a botched haircut from a stylist named Cassandra. I did not let the owner know that my cut was unblended and poorly executed, because I had not noticed until yesterday. This was after I got a closer look at my hair and after the blowout faded. Unfortunately, as clients, we don't get to see all the mistakes when we leave the salon with a blowout because it hides a lot. Especially with layers. I'll spare you the all gritty details because I've already made the owner aware of Cassandra's awful attitude. However, for context, I saw her twice total and got a weird vibe from her the first time, as she made me feel like an imposition for having dense hair and running into her next appointment. Mind you, I considerately got there 10 minutes early to give time for my first appointment consult. She was visibly annoyed throughout the appointment and did not try hiding it. When I got there for my second appointment (again, I wanted to give the benefit of doubt because I did like the results first time around), I was met with immediate hostility. I was so confused. I'm a nice person?! So, as soon as I realized that she wasn't having an off day (during my initial experience) and this just happened to be how she is, I was concerned. She was unbelievably passive aggressive and rude. At one point, I told her assistant that he was doing a great job because I could tell that he was just starting out. Cassandra interjected and said, "he is doing a good job but he needs to learn." Who says that to a client...? And why not just let the man enjoy a compliment? When I called the owner to let her know, she did express that Cassandra is not a warm person. But this went way beyond that. I'll post photos of my botched cut as well as the inspiration photo that I showed her- which by the way, when I presented my inspo photo, Cassandra asked, "what's wrong with that girl's face?" You would think this would be common sense, but when your client is showing you an inspiration photo, maybe don't make fun of it. Again, common sense. All in all, I got a bad hair cut with extra attitude on the side. I'll pass on both. read more

To say that Kyle is an expert at what he does would be an understatement. I have never had a hairdresser take so much time and thought into the best style and color for my hair. I live in Texas and fly in just to have Kyle do my hair. I cannot find anyone near me who "gets it" like he does. Walked in to get a consult and quote. Was directed to Vanessa by the lady at the front desk and after finishing our consult we set up an appointment for a week out and I was honestly really excited to get it done. They get my phone number and confirm everything, great. I get a text message asking to confirm my appointment which I confirmed. The day of my appointment comes around and I called to ask if there was any way we could do a blow dry since I was told I'd be leaving wet when I set up the appointment (which isn't an issue). They said there was no time and I'd still leave wet (this is not an issue again). I say okay that's fine I will be there in an hour for my appointment. I drove from San Diego and left work early for this appointment. 20 minutes before I receive a call from the salon. I assume it's just to ask to come in earlier ? or to alert me that they have time to dry my hair. No lol they canceled my appointment and said they wouldn't be able to take me in that day. Extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of people's time. Thankfully I found a much more reliable salon and stylist that didn't cancel 20 minutes before my appointment. read more
