You will only find the best products here. Most are organic with high quality ingredients. And you can try almost everything first right there before buying. Whether you need makeup, brushes, shampoo, soap, nail polish, SPF, or moisturizers, this is the place! Oh and there is a free parking lot for the store. You can access it off of Ocean Ave, which is a one way that starts at Forest Ave. The first available entrance on the left is their parking lot. An attendant will ask you where you're going to make sure you're in the right place. All you have to do is mention the name of the store, and you're in for as long as you need. You will just need to show your receipt when you go back to your car.

They refused to take it back, saying the manufacturer didn't give them a return. I went in there to support my local business, but when it came to me getting support upon returning the item they wanted to sell me another product or brush that may help the coverage. I told the sales girl that I used the same brush I used for my Bare Mineral powder so it was not the problem and I wasn't willing to take the loss of this product to buy one that "may" work better with no return on it either if it didn't work better. I decided to check on Amazon to see if they carried the brand and what their return policy was, and they said right on their page that returns were fine. And on top of that, the same item was $8 cheaper on Amazon!! So much for supporting local businesses that don't believe that support goes both ways!

I get what I need, my endorphins kick in, and boom... impulse purchase. One thing I have noticed, though, is that if you don't look "nice," you sometimes feel like you're being followed or watched a little more closely. And my friend, after work I usually look like I just rolled out of bed I'm tired and exhausted! This has happened to me a handful of times where I've genuinely felt like I was being watched more closely. I get it, girl, you're doing your job, and I understand loss prevention is a thing. But even when I grab just one or two small items, sometimes I still get the look. Idk lol. Don't get me wrong, many of the employees are helpful and genuinely offer assistance. This is definitely not directed at the entire staff or the store as a whole. However, there have been a handful of interactions that have left me feeling uncomfortable. Of course, a business can say that's not what's happening, but as a customer, I'm simply sharing how the experience has felt from my end. I also want to add that I looked through some of the other reviews after I had already written my original review, and I actually came back to edit and include this part because I found it pretty telling. Let's just say I'm clearly not the only customer who has raised concerns about the overall customer experience. I'm writing this more as constructive feedback that I hope management can see and use to improve the store. If one or two people mention the same issue, maybe it can be brushed off as an isolated experience. But when a handful of customers are saying similar things, I think it's worth looking into and asking if something could be done differently. Nothing against the store, I continue to shop here, but customer perception and how people feel while shopping matter too. On another note, they don't have a huge perfume selection, which is disappointing because perfume is one of my favorite things! It's a smaller store overall, so I'm giving it 3 star. On the positive side, it's clean and conveniently located near a Whole Foods! :)

On Tuesday the employee was kind enough to suggest leaving my bottles at the store, and when they get the oil back in restock they would give me a call. A few hours later I get a call that they don't have an ETA on when the oil will be restocked and I need to pick up the empty bottles ASAP. Unfortunately I live 40minutes away and I explained I'm going to be out of town next week. I asked if I could pick up the bottles at the end of the month when I get back. She said they can no longer hold the two bottles and I need to pick them up before I leave town.. and that since I'm leaving Saturday I could come on Thursday to grab it. She then proceeded to tell me the stores operating hours. I don't think it's right for them to force me to pick the bottles ASAP when it was suggested by them to leave the bottles for the next shipment. If I knew there is no ETA for the oils, I would have just kept the bottles.. Soooo 24hrs later it's Wednesday, I decided to put aside my plans to pick up the bottles before leaving town (AS PER THE EMPLOYEE ON THE PHONE). I drove 40minutes and guess what.... the store is CLOSED in the middle of the day. I came during operating hours and the place is closed at 3pm. You guys can keep the bottles, I will be taking my business and time elsewhere.

Started noticing something strange in the skin under my beard. I take a shower and wash my face every day. Never had a problem like this in over 4 decades. Had to visit a dermatologist, who told me to shave the beard and mustache off for now and use 2 prescriptions and a special lotion to cure the issue. When I showed him the balm, he said that the butter, fragrances and oil, trap heat, sweat, and bacteria, and cause fungal infections. Since Edgewell acquired the company, 2 shipments were damaged during shipping(they use FedEx). The products I use regularly are the shine pomade, the thickening shampoo, the cooling post shave balm, the shave cream, the lip balm, the beard and face wash, the body bar, the beard and scruff cream, and the beard oil. I've tried multiple scents from the collection and my go to is the Reserve Collection Distillers Blend. My favorites include the cooling post shave balm and the shave cream. This combination with a straight razor shave gives you an incredible shave experience that starts out hot and ends cool, just like a shave should. Edgewell lost a couple of stars with me because before the acquisition, shipping was faster, didn't arrive damaged, and always included a coupon book to use in stores. My girlfriend uses the shave cream and in her barber shop, she uses the cooling post shave balm on her customers. She loves how the products make me smell too.

(Note: Anyone business owner that eagerly recommends others, even their competitors, is a good person in my book. Be sure to look up Broken Blades next to Starbucks!) I arrived and played with the house dog a few minutes before my appointment. Lucas sat me down and asked what I was looking for. Mainly I just gripped about all the hair I'm losing cause I'm getting old and after poking at my head a little bit, he said, "I can make this look like you're not losing all that hair." (My internal reaction: "Huh?! How??"). But since Seth recommended him so highly, I just told him to go for it. Since he saw me watching one of the television screens in the shop, I think he purposely turned my seat so I faced it and he did his work.
