Very good breakfast sandwich. I had the corned beef hash one and the proportions of the ingredients are spot on and the English muffin is very good. Fluffy, with some texture still. I'm pretty sure there was a sword in the incomparable Castlevania Symphony of the Night with the same name. I hope this place is named after that sword. read more

Went by at 9:45 on a Saturday morning - based on the reviews I figured the line would be insane, but to my surprise there was no line, just a few people waiting for their orders. It's an unassuming truck, but what a delightful breakfast sandwich. This was my first time, so I went with the twilight (which I'm told was their most popular). Everything from the English muffin to the eggs and meat all tasted super fresh and the sausage seemed homemade. I wasn't sure about having both bacon and sausage on the same sandwich (felt like it could be overkill) but it really worked nicely together. Also - the sandwiches are well sized, which I don't always expect when it's served on an English muffin! For $11 I think it's a great deal and now one of my fav breakfast sandos in town. What a great place! The English muffins are homemade every day. There's a beautiful crunch to them and a savory finish. Our group had three different kinds. One full of meat, a vegetarian, and a vegan one. Each person raved about the fluffy eggs and great flavor. Don't forget to get the green ginger drink. Other breakfast sandwich carts don't hold a candle to Dawnbringer but if they did everyone in PDX would have an affordable, tasty breakfast option on the go. Hole in the wall spot that one of our friends found! I noticed that there were not a lot of reviews or pictures, so coming here was a leap of faith. Bring cash or pay Kuto/venmo (venmo will cost you an extra 25 cents) as they do not take card. For parking, there was plenty of street parking. The food truck has two tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I am glad we checked it out and tried most things. I got the morning muffin and it has fish (and I love fishy fish) so just be aware when you order. I liked the English muffin itself and how large and fluffy it was. I used the hot sauce to add some heat and I thought it was a nice light breakfast. Our other friends got the solar sando and the twilight tasty, and they preferred it more than the morning muffin. The owner said the solar sando is his signature English muffin. We shared the rise and shine French toast and we really liked the combination of corn flakes, orange and maple syrup. It was made of English muffins instead of regular toast so it was pretty unique. We really liked the maple syrup (Massachusetts maple syrup) that came with it, the owner said he had just brought it from the east coast!
