My 2018 Ram 2500 has been experiencing transmission issues, among other problems. The shop I…read morevisited recommended Nicholls for the transmission repairs, as they do not handle that type of work. Nicholls did an amazing job not only fixing the transmission but also addressing all the other issues with the truck. Since then, my truck has been running smoothly, and I'm glad I chose this shop for the repairs. If you are looking for straightforward, honest estimates and quick work, this is the repair shop for you.

The listed price (which was already amazing) was the "out the door price". No hidden fees, no pushy sales or financing tactics. Had one minor mechanical issue with a cover after purchase and Dave in service went above and beyond to remedy and replace the cover. These guys really stand by their work. When the time comes, I will be buying my next motorcycle from here!

I picked this place because of the 4 star rating and it was close to the accident site (Lee Summit Road). Although they were closed on the Sunday it happened, I left the bike and trailer in their lot and returned when they opened on Tuesday. The service Manager, Dave was great! They looked it over and made it road worthy for me to be able to return to Florida. What they charged was well below what I expected and they had me ready in less than 24 hours. Jamie the service technician also looked over my motorcycle trailer to make sure it was road worthy. What was even better, after they received their money, Dave took the time to call me to make sure that I made it back home to Florida okay. This was above and beyond what I expected. If I lived close enough, I would go out of my way to make this my normal service shop, but 1200 miles is a little too far. A great, respectable and honest shop, a hard find these days.

Overall I'd say great value. My experience using this shop had some hurdles, but it was handled well. There was a miscommunication about scheduling that was upsetting, but they made up for it by getting me in the next day. There was a strange noise that appeared after the repair, and when I returned without an appointment to address it, it was fixed within 30 minutes at no additional cost. These situations showed me that Derek's automotive takes responsibility where other shops don't. Props to Austin at the desk for being very knowledgeable and taking care of me.
