For about $15 including the drink, I thought the price was completely fair for Venice. So why am I talking about 4.9 stars? Because my wife ordered lunch from the Italian place right next door. That's when an interesting comparison happened. I waited about 15-20 minutes for my order. When it was ready, I got up and picked it up myself. The burger came in a takeout container. After I finished eating, I threw everything away myself. Meanwhile, my wife received her food in about five minutes. It was served on a real plate. Someone brought it to the table. Later, a staff member came by to ask if everything tasted good and if she needed anything else. The funny part? She paid only a few dollars more than I did. Both of us left the highest tip option the terminal offered because we appreciated the effort and wanted to support local businesses. And that's exactly when it clicked. Burger Spot serves a very good burger. In fact, I'd happily come back. The food deserves the reputation. But when the restaurant next door delivers a noticeably better overall experience for almost the same money, the difference becomes impossible not to notice.
